Daniel Craig Bonds With Tokyo
Daniel Craig and girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell walk the red carpet together during the Quantum of Solace Premiere at Roppongi Hills on Tuesday in Tokyo, Japan.
The 40-year-old British actor reportedly wants the next Bond movie to be much steamier. Craig has heard complaints from fans that Bond’s bedroom antics haven’t been a focus of the new movies, so he has decided to push for the scenes. Craig said, “For Bond to jump in bed with ten women would contradict the whole things. But the next movie - everybody wants it so we’re going to have it.”
Quantum of Solace was No. 2 at the box office this past weekend with final ticket sales of $26.7 million, behind Twilight which brought in $69.6 million.

..i would love to know from people who have worked with her previously how Satsuki is, character wise…i too have read very unfavorable comments from a few places
He’s no big deal but his eyes are just the right shade of blue. I’ll say that much for him. Probably would be nowhere without those baby blues.
to 100;
and these people who have met Satsuki..how can they know from talking to her that she is a “goldigger” and “opportunistic”?
____________________________________________________
some of the people have had dealings, both socially and business, with satsuki many times over the past few years. for what ever reason, they have formed an opinion of her that isn’t very nice. once a person forms an opinion of another person it’s very hard to get them to change. i’ve given up; so i just sit and listen to what they say. as i’ve said before; when they do bring up satsuki it’s not very nice.
…are these the same “people” saying that she is pregnant, that a nursery is being installed in R Park house and a nanny hired?
____________________________________________________
satsuki pregnant? this is news to these people. as for a nursery and/or nanny who knows. as for the nanny; all i can say is that my sister hired her nanny when she was all of 5 months pregnant. sis told me that’s how it works when you want a good nanny here in london.
Yes. He’s just eyes. It doesn’t matter who he dates. He’s old and a man. He can pretty much get anything “exotic” on his arm because he’s putting the food on the table!!!!!
He’s just those blue eyes. Without those or his fame you’d pass him on the street as some wrinkled dude.
…yes but what ARE they saying about Satsuki? you seem to be evading the answer a bit…what opinion DO they have?
to 104/105
maybe..but he has something inner that is very sexual…I doubt I would pass him on the street without the fame…
to 106
because, to put it bluntly what these people are saying is not very nice. how else can i say this, i’m sure you’re read the unkind remarks about keeley shaye smith. the things these people are saying about satsuki make those remarks about keely look tame. the poor girl could be presented at court by the queen herself and it would make no difference to these people. they do not like satsuki and have made no secret of it. i have tried to find out how it is that satsuki has personally offended them but no one will tell me.
could it be jealousy? or are your friends judging her by professional standards?
keeley has a medical problem that was thrown out of whack by pregnancy so i hear..
so your friends must be judging satsuki on her business acumen and approach to those situations..have they met satsuki in a non formal atmosphere? what could satsuki have done/said to upset them I wonder?
how do they say she looks in real life?
To those who say Daniel is “just his eyes” does not appreciate a hot man when you see one. He is good looking in a rugged way - not in a baby faced way. He is not old, certainly not to me. Maybe if you are 14 his is old. His body is to die for and he has a great voice - love he accent, and those beautiful baby blue eyes. All in all a gorgeous package. And then he is a wondeful actor. As for his personality; well I never met him (too bad) but from intereviews I have seen or read, he comes across as a very kind, generous person. Sounds like a great person. So you see, there is more than just his eyes.
oh yes…SO much more!
LOL….esp in water…

on Sony Pictures website, Satsuki is mentioned first unlike CR time!
I think daniel looks hot here even more than the QoS premiere…that suit is really better than the Burberry one he wore…
he looks much mor relaxed but thats becuse of all the money coming in..
i cant get over though how their dynamic has changed from even the Felming tribute night..they were quite frosty towards each other then
Australia` fails to match `Quantum` at box-office Down Under
Quantum Of Solace - 28-11-08
The first figures in the battle of the blockbusters are in, and Australia has failed to match the opening day box office takings of the latest James Bond film, Quantum of Solace, reports SMH.
Australia grossed $1,307,853 in ticket sales from 304 screens on its opening on Wednesday, according to Nielsen EDI figures published by Screen Australia.
Director Baz Luhrmann’s epic romance starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman more than doubled the $575,596 taken on the opening day of his last film, Moulin Rouge! in 2001.
But it falls short of the massive $2.03 million racked up on one day by the latest James Bond caper Quantum of Solace when it was released on Wednesday last week.
Film expert Bruce Molloy from Bond University said Luhrmann and distributor Twentieth Century Fox would be disappointed with its performance.
“I would think they would hope to do better - I’ve never seen a saturation publicity campaign like this, ever,” Professor Molloy said.
“If Quantum of Solace opened by almost half as much again, that is a concern.”
However, Prof Molloy said Australia would be better judged after its opening weekend, and would probably do well off word of mouth.
Inside Film (IF) Magazine journalist Simon De Bruyn agrees.
“It’s just not a first day film in my opinion,” he said.
“It’s a long-burn film and the long burn will go over several weeks at the box office.
“And Australians love word of mouth so they’ll want to see what their mates think.”
Twentieth Century Fox was asked to comment but did not return calls.
Australia will open in the US on Thursday, and the next four days will likely decide if Twentieth Century Fox recoups its substantial investment in the $198.7 million film and if its largely-Australian cast and crew will be Oscar nominees.
If the film has a strong opening and can stay in cinemas for the months leading up to February’s Academy Awards, gold statuettes may rain down on the film.
But the early box office predictions do not look good there either.
At least one box office expert is predicting Australia will finish a disappointing fifth place on the box office ladder over the coming Thanksgiving long weekend, from Thursday to Sunday, earning a disappointing $A27.51 million.
“Opening at about 2,600 venues, Australia could be in big trouble,” Reagen Sulewski, of boxofficeprohets.com, predicted.
One of America’s best-known box office experts, Gitesh Pandya, is expecting Australia to earn more, $33.63 million, but still be behind at least three other films.
Teen vampire blockbuster, Twilight, is expected to be the box office winner with a take of around $64.2 million, adding to the $106.99 million it made last weekend.
The Reese Witherspoon romantic comedy Four Christmases (the film debuts in Australia next week and has been retitled Four Holidays) is tipped to finish second with about $61.14 million.
Luhrmann’s Australia will fight with the latest instalment of British tough guy Jason Statham’s action franchise, Transporter 3, and Quantum of Solace, for third.
(Saturation campaign for australia..now we know why jackman got sexiest man alive dont we?…its so obvious…daniel probably begged to NOT win it)

this is what i want Santa to bring me…(not her..him)..
:D

“Herskovitz had the following to say about Craig:”
“The thing about Daniel is that those of us in the business who have been watching his performances for years have been saying this guy is going to be a big star, he is one of those people like Steve McQueen, who combines this charisma, this incredible look, that’s not even about handsome or not handsome, it’s just an amazing, masculine, wonderful, attractive look. So when you find those things together in a person, watch out!”
I agree with what Herskovitz said about Daniel; I want Santa to bring Daniel to me too and to #110 especially coming out of the water.
My friend asks an interesting question, would Satsuki have been interested in Daniel if the Bond role had not been in the equation?? She’s sure that Satsuki knew Daniel’s name was being thrown about for the Bond role when they met because Satsuki isn’t stupid, she’s an intelligent woman.
Let’s face it their whole lifestyle would have been different, it wouldn’t have exactly been A-list and 5 star treatment all the way, no glitzy premiere’s all over the world and expensive designer gowns, pictures in all the papers and magazines around the world. Satsuki is now a celebrity too in a way, she’s probably recognised where ever she goes, must do wonders for her ego. Would Daniel have even got leading man roles if he hadn’t been offered Bond?? And i’m guessing there would have been a few less millions in the bank. Gets the old grey matter thinking doesn’t it?? But i’m guessing we will never know.

could it be jealousy? or are your friends judging her by professional standards?
______________________________________________________
jealously on my friend’s part; not likely. they think satsuki has anything for them to be jealous about. professional standards on satsuki’s part; in the words of one of them “please don’t make me laugh”
so your friends must be judging satsuki on her business acumen and approach to those situations..have they met satsuki in a non formal atmosphere? what could satsuki have done/said to upset them I wonder?
____________________________________________________
my friends are still laughing about this statement. actually it’s the words “business acumen” that they think is hilarious. and yes, they have met satsuki in non-formal atmospheres. like i said previously, they’ve met her both socially and through business.
how do they say she looks in real life?
____________________________________________________
well, if she is beautiful etc. etc. they people just don’t see it. understand, they do not like satsuki. it’s as simple as that. for whatever reason. i’ve accepted it; i don’t question. i jus listen when they choose to talk about it.
That’s an interesting point, she probably did know…after all, she apparently had something to do with Daniel getting the role in “The Jacket”…so she could have heard talk of the Bond role…but even so, Daniel fell for her…how could she plan that? Unless she has some cunning moves and put him under a spell.
Your friends are in the PA or film business?
They seem to have met Satsuki an awful lot of times…have they met anyone else who worked with her..do those people feel the same way?
To #118 I did not know that she had something to do with getting Daniel a role in The Jacket. Is that a known fact? I believe Daniel would have received other leading man roles down the road if he was not offered Bond. (he is such a great actor) But would not have been as famous or made as much money as he is now. If she got him the role in the Jacket, to meet him, because she heard he might get the Bond role, that means…….she is very manipulative. I feel sorry for Daniel if that is the case. Hopefully that is not ture.
I heard that she mentioned his name for the role that’s
all…ulimately it was up to the casting director’s choice no doubt..Satsuki did not have the power to get an actor hired for any roles apart from “Black Christmas” apparently.
Her “manipulation” evidently paid off for her in more ways than one hasn’t it?
So how long did she have her eye on Daniel is more to the point?
They had to CGI facial movements onto Nic’s face for Australia as she has been botoxed so much)…
Nicole Kidman: Plucked
As if having her bodyguard beating up the paparazzi wasn’t enough (yeah, I’ll let that one go about as soon as I forget about Prop 8 passing), now comes dishy word from the Down Under set of Australia, the epic Aussie tale from usually genius director Baz Luhrmann. Have any idea what it’s about? If you guessed something to do with Nicole’s immovable feast of a forehead, you’d be darling and correct.
Incomparable Australia sources who worked on both production and postproduction for the flick insist exclusively to the Awful Truth that Ms. Kidman’s forehead was “a big concern.” How much so? “Throughout the entire production,” sassed one of our top level Australia sources, “everyone on set was really worried about [Kidman] not being able to make facial expressions.” Apparently, not many of those Nicole-powered facial tics came to be, as computer generated effects were ultimately required. Don’t you just hate it when that happens?
“New technology,” we’re assured by our computer-savvy insiders, was utilized in postproduction, “to give her face a bit more…life. That’s how bad it got.” Jeez, Nic, is this the result from Sunday Rose being such a damn well-behaved baby? I mean, since she never cries, as you have so proudly stated, do you have no practice making frown or fret lines any more? Oh, and we do hear that kid of yours was practically immaculately conceived, more on that Kidman mysteriousness after the holidays, promise.
