OlderDaniel Craig Bonds With Tokyo
Daniel Craig and girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell walk the red carpet together during the Quantum of Solace Premiere at Roppongi Hills on Tuesday in Tokyo, Japan.
The 40-year-old British actor reportedly wants the next Bond movie to be much steamier. Craig has heard complaints from fans that Bond’s bedroom antics haven’t been a focus of the new movies, so he has decided to push for the scenes. Craig said, “For Bond to jump in bed with ten women would contradict the whole things. But the next movie - everybody wants it so we’re going to have it.”
Quantum of Solace was No. 2 at the box office this past weekend with final ticket sales of $26.7 million, behind Twilight which brought in $69.6 million.

I thought Daniel got the part in The Jacket because he was friends with the director John Maybury, he directed Daniel in Love is the devil.
you’re right, daniel did get the role in the jacket in part because he was good friedns with the director. but he also got the role because the casting director thought daniel was the best fit. satsuki could have mentioned daniel’s name to the casting director but that’s all she could do. believe me, despite what some pa’s tell you, they donot have that kind of power.

i heard that Satsuki did mention Daniels name for the role knowing that Maybury knew him.
She probaby saw Love is the Devil and the bath scene..
i love him in this interview, the way he giggles..he looked so good there, so healthy

i think by Feb 2005 he was seeing Satsuki regularly and wasnt bond swirling about then?
Are you all trying to say that Satsuki calculated meeting Daniel, and making a big impression on him to capture his heart, it was all pre-planned??
Wow you have to give this girl credit, maybe an award for the most cunning and manipulative female, and if i was Daniel i would be scared!! What else is she planning?? lol!!
not pre planned, you cant make someone fall in love with you (can you?)..but she got what she wanted yes.

No but you can do your homework and find out what someones likes and dislikes are, what that someones into, what interests them etc, etc. So you and that person can end up having the same interests, alot in common and seem to be on the same wave length. Trust me it’s very easy to manipulate someone, especially men. I confess i’ve done it myself and that person did fall in love with me.
.Satsuki did her homework very well..his interests etc are not hard to find out (even back then before Bond)..ill stick with what i heard/told that she had interest in Daniel before The Jacket…
now to have him become interested in her as well, Gold medal to her!

I totally agree with you, well done to Satsuki, you can’t help but admire her. She saw something she wanted, set out to get it and boy did she get her prize. Just goes to show you if you want something badly enough, if you work hard to get it, you can. Still can’t hate her for it though, she’s one hell of a woman!!
i wasnt told she was intent on bagging a star (i read that somewhere) but i was told she set her sights on Daniel

again i think she there at the right time for him, i think he was lonely, she knew the business, appealed to him etc etc
we all know what’s up with the pa’s on the set. they’re all after the same thing, for the most part. to meet some nice available actor and walk off with him. the pa’s i’ve dealt with all admit it; and they are deadly serious. they make it their business to find out what he likes in his coffee, what kind of muffin he likes to eat, etc etc. slowly work their way in so that she becomes necessary to the actor.
i’m watching one now on a set i’m working on. mind you, she has absolutely no hope here but she is fun to watch. all of us think it’s kind of funny. you see she has set her sites on of the actors; is doing everything she can think of to get his attention. but it won’t work because to quote my brother who’s in the us navy “when it comes to somebody’s sexual orientation i don’t ask and they don’t tell”. but no one is going to tell the girl; we’re waiting for her to figure it out all by herself.
well when she makes a move she will soon know…i guess you can’t say what movie right?
the P.A’s I know say the same thing, Satsuki is a success story almost a “banner girl” for the profession..lol.
again, i heard she made it her motive to know everything about him according to my friends and then made herself INDESPENDSABLE in more ways than way i guess

I wonder what Daniel thinks about all this?? If i knew someone went out of their way to know all about me just so they could get to me, quite frightening. You would have to question their motives for being with you.
There was nothing romantic about their meeting and getting together, it was all calculated and planned by Satsuki. No wonder she’s glued to his side 24/7, she can’t let her prize get away or maybe have his eye’s opened to the truth about her by anyone.

you’re right, i can’t and won’t tell you what film set. but since she’s been at since for awhile; i’m going to take pity on her and spell it out. i just finished speaking to some other pa’s and they agree; she is a shinning example to follow. if sats could do it; then so can they.
but here’s the thing. i’ve been talking to other people who know and hear things. one a lawyer for a casting director, has done an unofficial survey here in los angeles. it took him awhile cause he went back 5 years and looked up 50 pa’s who hooked up with actors on the set.
of the 50 pa’s ; 34 of them ended up marrying the man after an average of three years. 5 years later; 21 of them are either divorced or separated. only 13 are still happily married. of the remaining 16 pa’s; only two of the are still with the actor they met on the film set 5 years ago. the rest have moved on.
kind of makes me wonder about satsuki’s odd of it lasting.
34 marrying the actor they met are not bad odds..although i dont know of any actor who is married to a former p.a. on one of his sets?
the odds on them lasting who knows? he strikes me as a type that needs varied stimuli, he might get bored
i know of one or two actors who married former pa’s. mind you they aren’t famous and well known. just starting up in the buisness. they get “small” parts; the ones that give them the minimum number of lines to main their status. but who knows, maybe one day one or both of these actors will become famous

one place daniel wasnt today and that was at the BIFA Awards…
and to 143, there is only one person in their relationship that is bettering and maintaining some status (and it isnt daniel!)
of course satsuki is bettering her status. she knew what she was doing when she got the job as a pa. these girls are not stupid. well, except for the girl on the set where i work who is trying to get the attention of one of the actors who is gay. she’s a special case. by the way, i’ve told her but she doesn’t believe me. honestyly thinks i want the guy for myself. ah well, i warned her. i suppose the next thing to do is make sure she meets this actor’s partner.

If all the above is true, it is very manipulative on her part. I can’t admire her when other people’s feelings and emotions are involved. It is fine to go after what you want but to go to that extent? I only hope Daniel won’t be hurt in all this. I guess time will tell.
Maybe hes using her too, like his friend said, he needs a committed woman in his life but will never be tied to a ball and chain, so maybe hes using her as the committed woman who will do anything for him as she has proven but also understands that he will be wondering whenever he pleases thats why I don’t think there will be a wedding anytime soon, just like he said in canada, because I think theres an understanding between these two, she gets whatever she wants as long as she tolerates everything like him doing whatever he wants whenever he wants with whoever he wants, and her sticking herself to him wont stop him from that, just like Gibsons wife couldnt stop him from doing whatever he wanted with whoever he wanted, even though she tried to stick herself to Gibson, and for everyone who said they would be married by the end of the year, doesnt he have another round of premiers to do for Defiance thats opening in December!
No, Defiance has had its world premiere already (which he didnt turn up to)..but will there be one in the UK in Jan?
You may be thinking of a few talk shows he may do in the US.

(People can get married, it only takes a day to do that)…
They may have become hitched already.
Wherever they are, they are holed up tight and secure as the press are on their heels at every turn believe me.
