Like clockwork, Katie Holmes leaves her apartment and arrives at Schoenfeld Theatre for the evening performance of her play, All My Sons, in New York City on Tuesday.
After weeks of intense rehearsals and a strenuous schedule, Katie appears a bit tired and weary.
Hubby Tom Cruise recently spoke with Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper about his infamous couch-jumping session on Oprah and said, “There are things that I could have done better. I could have handled things better. I was surprised by the criticism but it brought everyone close together. Katie’s entire family and my family. Going through that stuff is not pleasant, and I think it hit an extreme, but Kate’s a very sure and confident and strong woman. She gets it, you know.”
WHAT DID YOU THINK of how Tom dealt with criticism during his early years with Katie?

All Katie has to do is show up for rehersals and perform maybe twice a day. Unlike the other performers and stage people that go home to make dinner,2nd jobs, clean their apt, do chores and errands, you the real things in life. All Katie does is - nothing. BOO HOO HOO

The public is negative towards Tomkat because of the “entitlement vibe” Katie puts out there. Katie has everything her wildest imagination can come up with. And that would be cool, if she seemed humble in any way, shape or from. But she comes off now like she is BETTER then everyone else now. All high and mighty. Slam the door on my past because I AM Mrs Tom Cruise. It is very unattractive. Many, many people “marry up” and do not come across as bad as Katie does.

These are not pictures of a healthy, happy woman. And i’m not just referring to the one where she looks like she hasn’t slept for 3 days/has just taken a very powerful bong hit. It looks as though something is eating away at her. Or perhaps she’s just been hooked up to the ‘e-meters’ all night being ‘audited’ by a bunch of Scientologists with Tom strutting in occasionally to see if she ‘GETS IT’. :|

former co-star michelle williams looks better than her without make-up. and she has the guts to actually go without in a movie.
And i thought the couch jumping/air punching incident on Oprah…where he also ran backstage to grab Katie Holmes by the arms (quite forcefully) and frogmarched her out into the audience…was ridiculously absurd and alarming. He looked like a wild man, crazed look in his eyes and teeth bared and brow furled a little aggressively whenever he smiled. As well as a red face and bulging neck veins. Trying a bit too hard to show he’s a 150% full hot-blooded heterosexual.

AGREE ” DANI AND “PR “….. I NEVER thought the couch jumping episode was awful…It seemed ” CUTE ” to me, because he was SO excited to be in love…Even Nicole said ” I knew Tom was truely in love, when he hopped on Oprah’s guest couch and started jumping and running around “…..” I was so happy for him and Kate “….BUT, he has since apologized to Brooke Shields AND Matt Lauer who accepted his apology, and they are ALL friends now……
I figured that the apology to Brooke ( done in person ) was because Katie was rumored to have post-partum depression also…and wept all day….An exhousekeeper of the Cruises ( retired ) said Brooke flew to Colorado to ” check on Kate “, after they left L.A., to go to their Telluride home…….She stated that Tom realized the ” seriousness ” of the illness, and Brooke AND medication helped Katie……That is why they stayed OUT of the public eye for those few months………It makes sense, considering how Tom LOVES publicity….Everyone just knew he would be out with that little Suri, a few days after she was born, and he wasn’t………Katie was too sick !!!
