OlderReese Witherspoon Bounces Back
Reese Witherspoon has managed to bounce back and continue on with her career after ending a seven-year marriage with Ryan Phillippe.
Four Christmases, Reese’s latest film, is a romantic comedy in which she and Vince Vaughn play a couple forced to spend the holiday with the families of their divorced parents.
“I just thought this was a different kind of Christmas movie,” the divorced mother of two says. “I’d never seen anyone do the idea of a blended family and how they have to go to a million different places, but I hear people complain about it constantly.”
Malinda Williams, one of boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal’s co-stars in the film Nailed, tells OK!, “They’re both very intense actors in the way they work. I think they make a great couple.” Plus, she adds, both have their priorities straight. “Reese seemed very humble and down-to- earth — very grounded and normal.”

4 Christmases looks like it’s going to be so funny. I think that baby scene is so hilarious because he seems like a jerk. I laugh every time I see that scene. I have always love Vince V in movies. I can’t wait. My friends and I are going to see it this week-end.
I never paid any attention to Reese before but now I’m beginning to like her a lot. The more I hear her talk, the more I like her. I like what she said about her divorce. She is so mature about it and not disgustingly whinny like Jennifer Aniston is. Reese don’t seem to want a pity party. Now she is busy living her life. Beginning to love her.
I’ll bet this move is going to be a big hit.
On divorce: “There are things in my life that are hard to reconcile, like divorce. Sometimes it is very difficult to make sense of how it could possibly happen. Laying blame is so easy. I don’t have time for hate or negativity in my life. There’s no room for it. When you make wrong choices, you have to take responsibility for them: ‘What part of this do I own?’ I struggle to figure out what made me make those choices. All I can hope for is that I’ve learned something from it and won’t make the same choices again.”

That’s what Reese had to say about her divorce. She sure can teach pathetic desperate Jennifer Aniston a thing or two. Jen took the easy pathetic way out. Like a spoil sick child Jen she blames someone else instead of looking at herself. That way she never moved on with her life. That’s why you know Jen in going into another divorce-She didn’t learn from her mistakes.
I love Reese and I think she is going to be fine. I really hope her movie is a big success.
Read the reviews. The movie is supposed to be really terrible. The most disappointing thing is that one reviewer said it totally lacked a holiday mood or spirit. I like my holiday movies to put me in a warm fuzzy mood. Like The Holiday, Love Actually even Fred Claus they weren’t great movies but they at least put you in a Christmas frame of mind.

Sounds to me like #6 wishes that Jake was gay.
# 13 - she really only started addressing question about her divorce. Up until then she made very few statements. None of which were negative. She and Ryan’s marriage may have ended painfully - but they both handled it with dignity and grace. And that is hard to come by - not just in Hollywood - but everywhere.

She has said some things about her divorce…in fact she’s using it to sell her movies…Did she really have an affair with her costar in Walk the Line…heard that was the real reason they split…Even Lamey says Reese knows how to use the media when she wanted that Oscar and played happy family with Ryan..then boom..it was over! Still think Reese and Jake are just good friends…that is why she says she doesn’t want to marry him…
I love Reese! She and Jake are adorable. I wish them all the luck in their relationship and her with her movie.

4Xmases has gotten lousy reviews. On Rotten Tomatoes where most reviews are posted, it has a 23% rating. That is only 23% of reviewers liked the movie. Looks like a bomb in the making. Gad, bad.
