Robert Pattinson puffs away at a cigarette in this new photo for Rolling Stone’s Hot List.
“Twilight is a metaphor for the virtues of chastity, but it’s had the opposite effect,” the 22-year-old British actor told the mag, which named him Hot Actor of the Year. “I get letters that say, ‘I’m going to kill myself if you don’t watch High School Musical 2 with me.’ ”
Recalls Pattinson, “A mother recently gave me her baby and asked, ‘Can you please bite his head?’ ”

How would you know if he is smelly, dirty or HIGH nothing in his manorisums claims he does much more then smoke oh well most of show business does smoke so he only hurts himself. and who are we to tell him it’s wrong. the rest prove it before you remark on the rest

definitely loving everything Rob’s been doing no matter how “bad” or unkept he looks…he really does have that unidentifiable something sexy going on.
BUT, i’m not sure how great those comparisons to James Dean are…i mean, JD did die young…and we wanna see Rob for a loooong time to come!

you guys, this is from a photoshoot. Please. For Rolling Stone, he’s not trying to “change” his image–Rolling Stone doesn’t want some dude in a pea coat and overstyled hair in their issue cause it’s an adult, male demographic. So, they butched him up a little and dirtied him up for the “hot” issue.
It’s not like this photoshoot is some big image change–it’s just a photoshoot and it’s…hot.
His performance in Twilight had “James Dean from Rebel Without a Cause” written all over it. Even his hair and the way he wore his jacket referenced Dean. So, I the james Dean comparisons fit. I wonder if he’s a fan of James Dean, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was.

Um.. he does ACTUALLY smoke though. He came out of a bar looking exactly like this except he had on a bit more clothing and was drunk off his a.ss. So its not just rolling stone dressing him up.
He looks like.. dirty. I bet you he’ll be that perverted uncle at the dinner table.
But he is VERY good looking though not gonna lie. In Twilight he was so yum. But here i don’t really find him all appealing. Smoking is so gross though. The bad breath and yellow teeth aren’t pro’s in my book.

He is awesome…sexy as hell, and so funny with his random comments that always make me laugh…thank god he has arrived to dethrone the “Efron’s and Company” of their undeserving golden status in Hollywood…Rob is a real man who incidentally just seems to ooze sex in everything he does…apparently even while passed out and smoking…still makes it look like the sexiest thing I have ever seen….
