Britney Spears Twinkles At Star Academy
Britney Spears puts on a top hat and channels her inner circus ringleader as she performs her hit single “Womanzier” at Star Academy, France’s version of American Idol.

Star Academy is not a version of American Idol. Star Academy is its own concept, in the US it was named THE ONE, which was a big failure on ABC a couple summers ago.

It was an ok performance. But you could hear her sing at 2:26 and 3:26, and she actually didn’t sound bad. I definitely think she should practice more at singing live, and she would definitely be awesome.

christina fans are insane!! christina did a circuis theme for 1 fricken song!!! it was like hurtin for something like that!!! but back to basics was all like 20’s glamour and marlyin monroe sex appeal. no a circuis!!! brit has a concept behind circuis she said its full of magic and fun and thats how she wants her concerts to be!!! Like the bambi awards she sang LIVE over the backtrack (its obvious b/c when she sings “if we were only in a different world maybe I could be your girl but we cant cause we dont” you can hear her over the backtrack) this performance had a lot more engery and all of you need to stop being so damn negative!!! I think this is a step in the right direction. she has had to start all over again and she is just getting back onstage!!! lets hope it gets better and better as she does more and more performances.

Britney’s fans are as scary as her…they probably share the same drugs to keep the illusion going but the world can clearly see that this was a mess…she’s not ready…she does not sing…she does not dance…she walks that’s it…the dancers do all the job to create the illusion that she’s doing something but remove them and it’s pathetic and when she speaks it’s even more terrible…i thin her head is not quite fixed yet and i’m scared she’ll end up like Marilyn one day.

I mean, they know that all eyes are on her to see whether she’s really back or not, and I just expected more oomph. She looks like she’s lost that POW that she always had when dancing. Kinda stiff. I’m disappointed, but I’m looking forward to the upcoming week! GO BRITNEY!!!

I’ll try to find words to describe what went on last night on the plateau of starac’ last night, I was there, and OMG people were crying, and we were waiting since 2pm till 9pm in the cold it was like -1C there, and it was so tense the moment the fire of the ring went out, it was crazy.
The thing is that she is like reaaaaaaaaaaaalllly thin, also so gracious and thankful and just fully present. It really was a dream come true!

Hum… Not bad, for a girl that had the hell of the year she had. She could practise more, but she looks damn more healthy than before.
I guess no one is thinking this, but I think I don´t like the “new” Britney that much. It´s like she came from death… I remember how I went crazy with the 1998-2002 era. And I was just a kid! I grew up listening her name and her music. Then, she married K-Fed, stupid piece of **** that set her on fire, and she broke my heart. Now, she had this crazy year, I´m sorry for her horrible life. I was really hoping for a come back with songs like “I´m not a girl”, “Everytime”, “Toxic”, all those wonderfull songs that had a true meaning to me, and there she came, all sexed up. She isn´t the same person now. Her songs now have no rythem, she could be confused with the Pussycat-dolls or another bitchy band like that. I just don´t get it. When I saw the “Gimme More” clip one year ago, I just thought, “she´s gonne. Forever.”
