Brad Pitt: Happy Birthday, Pax!

Brad Pitt: Happy Birthday, Pax!

USA Today has a great new article on Brad Pitt and David Fincher, the director for their upcoming age-reversing film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Here are two of the most interesting paragraphs from said piece:

“To play Button as a senior citizen, [Brad] had to be caked in makeup and wear prosthetic noses and scalps. For much of the movie, he abandons his own body entirely, providing a face and voice that are digitally imposed on other actors including a dwarf, a disabled man and children of all ages.”

“The [Button] set was placed on ‘Pitt Patrol.’ There were body doubles and decoy cars. Pitt’s driver never crossed an intersection when it turned green. He waited for it to turn yellow to leave law-abiding photographers at the red light, though few obeyed the signal.”

Check out the full article at USAToday.com. Button opens on Christmas Day.

Today is Pax Jolie-Pitt’s 5th birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PAX!!!

May all the blessing always be with you and
God Bless the JP’s always and forever .

You are so handsome Brad, I will commit a sin for lusting for you if you have a wife.
BUT EVERYTIME YOU HAVE SEX IS A SIN. BECAUSE SEX OUTSIDE OF MARRIAGE IS BREAKING THE COMMANDMENTS OF G-D. FORNICATION IS A SIN. WHY MESS UP WITH SEX. SEX IS SACRED.YOU CAN NOT DENY IT ANYMORE THAT THERE ARE THREE CHILDREN WHO WERE BORN INTO THIS WORLD OUT OF WEDLOCK. YOUR BIOLOGICAL KIDS. OBEDIENCE TO G-D IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE.

Absolutely adorable.

Enjoy your special day with your gorgeous family little darlin’!

I didn’t know they were ‘buds. Good for Brad that he along with Fincher had the stones and integrity to let the film, ‘Seven’ be what it was meant to be; disturbing and brilliant. The more I learn about him the more I understand why Angie HAS HER MAN.

Thanks for the links to the YouTube links for the Culture Show. It’s nice to see an interview where the interviewer has his shite together and it’s about her work and not the tabloid BS. Unfortunately I think what he doesn’t get about Angie doing the action roles is that it’s a release for her - a way to escape the seriousness of the other roles and real life. I think if she did nothing but movies like Gia, GI, Changeling…it would keep her in a dark place emotionally that she really doesn’t need to be full-time. NOBODY needs to be there full-time!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAX!!! HAVE A NICE DAY WITH YOUR MOM, DAD, BROTHERS AND SISTERS.

thanks jared!

Happy Birthday Pax

Fun Interview. Does anyone know how the studio wanted to change the ending of Seven?

I read the USA Today article. It was well done. Brad and David are obviously great friends. He has that same joking dry humor with George Clooney as well. I am so excited about this film. The reviews have been very good. Not just for the film itself, but Brad’s performance. Coming off BAR this has been a great year for him. He is making some interesting film choices. Much better then 4 years ago. Anyway can you believe that Pax is 5 years old. Time as gone by.
Brad has a magazine cover and interview for the January issue of some magazine I don’t know which, if someone knows, please post in your comments.

Also Brad will be on the Today Show (Tuesday, Dec. 2), Larry King (coming soon) and Charlie Rose. Don’t know the dates of the last two.

Can’t wait to hear what he has to say. I just love him.

guli, thanks for posting all three portions of the interview.

Lady G, I have been asking about you for a long time. I have missed you something terrible. I hope you are doing well. Please come back to JJ’s and post. I saved those pictures you posted for me of Brad and ZZ in central park. Hope to read your comments soon. Peace

Absolutely agree. Gone in 60 , she needed to get over GI and BC. TR2 help her get thru her divorce with BB (just like Wanted helped her to get thru her mother’s passing) After that it was just her and Mad, she couldn’t stay in a dark places emotionally and be a “good mom” to her son thus until she got with Brad she didn’t take any roles that was emotionally draining.

PT–no one can do that full time…When I watched that interview…I was like OMG…off course she needs a break from that emotional turmoil and make fun/physical movies…. If she was NOT a good actor it wouldn’t get to her…BUT..she happens to be a great talented one…me thinks our kids and their kids will talk about….we are watching a legend at the age of 33… JMHO!

BP and AJ are so classy, haven’t you noticed that none of them have commented on JA’s quote on AJ on “how she is uncool”, her “blah blah that she spoke to BP and that he is doing well”. “No comment and irrelevant” that’s the clear message of these two fine actors to JA.

Happy 5th Birthday Pax :)

Thanks Jared for the link to the USA Today article. I knew about the interview but I kept forgeting to go to the site to read it. It was a good read. I love Brad’s interviews. He seems so happy and playful. Very “childlike” which is wonderful for a man with six kids!! I can just imagine how silly he is with them.

Can’t wait to see the movie. I finally saw “Changling” last week and LOVED IT!! Angie did such a good job. I know Brad will be just as good in “Benjamin Button.”

Wow it’s great that Brad is doing CR again. Brad really seems relaxed on that show. So I guess he did all these interviews when he was in NY after the Oprah interview.

So true. I am sure one of the many interviewers must have told her about the Rogue cover. She probably just shrugged it off. Jenjen doesn’t deserve a comment. I love it.
If it’s true that Brad is going to be on W, then I think the troll who told us about it must be someone working for one of the 3 Conde Nast magazines. Probably Rogue, and the troll could be Van Meter himself. I am sorry I like conspiracy theory.

Happy birthday Pax and I hope you have a wonderful day with your borthers and sisters.

Does anyone know any good sites that have pictures from the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith? I re-watched the movie the other day, and now I adore it even more than I did the first time I watched it. It’s hot, it’s sexy, it’s funny, and it’s beyond entertaining. I want to see some pictures of Brad and Angie on set……….and if anyone knows any good videos on Youtube, I’d appreciate those suggestions as well. Their chemistry is unbelievable. Thanks in advance, my fellow B&A fans! :-)

Yes, happy birthday Pax !: and lets all hope Pax is reunited with his real parents and real culture soon, instead of living in a media circus as a Jolie’s pet human.

Happy 5th Birthday Pax!!!! :) :) Wow time flies. It just seems like yesterday we were reading about the scared little boy hiding under a table at the Vietnam orphanage, and now he’s this kung fu kicking whirling dervish. Angie & Brad have done a wonderful job of making him feel loved, secure, and very much part of their family.

Thanks Jared for the new Brad thread. Looking forward to seeing TCCOBB. It looks incredible.

Thanks bdj for the latest articles on the previous thread. And thanks Guli for the videos. Also, thanks debra for the info about Brad’s upcoming TV appearances.

Seasons greetings to the JP fans. :)

You are a sick racist **** ‘Anonymous’. Pax IS with his REAL parents and real culture. Its too bad that racist scum like you try to denounce an adopted child as a pet animal. Stop being so jealous of Pax and his family with Angelina and Brad, and deal with your bitterness and your bad upbringing.

I just saw the photos of the Taj Mahal Hotel where I’ve stayed many years ago. It is dreadful.

Still, we will not succumb to terrorists. Next week, my family is visiting Bali for a holiday. F*ck the terrorists. I will do what I want.

Thank you Lulu and An Oldie for reading my comment and for agreeing with me on that note. I appreciate as BP and AJ as fans for what they are doing, their dedication to their work, the world and their children in spite of all the hateful and vulgar comments about them, some are tough and unfair but it must come from envy, jealousy and shame of not being able to do half of what BP and AJ are doing.

Happy belated birthday, Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt! Hope you had a wonderful birthday party with your family wherever you are! Can´t wait to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. It´ll be interesting to see what Brad looks like as an old man! God bless the Jolie-Pitt family!

happy birthday, little cute pax!!

Brad’s big cover shoot is not W mag, sorry trolls, lol, but its Architectural Magazine, boy was this troll sooo wrong about the W shoot, lol,

BRAD PITT, the star of thousands of tabloid covers and speculations, lays it right on the line as the cover boy for January’s posh Architectural Digest.

They followed Brad to New Orleans where he owns a house in the French Quarter and let photographer Harry Benson have his way with the star’s Make It Right Foundation, which is building $150,000, energy-efficient, brand-new houses in the Ninth Ward.

You’re always hearing about how Brad copes with Angelina Jolie and their six children. But here you’ll see a different kind of movie star in the pages. Brad says, “Katrina changed me. I never had any idea that so many people would show up for this. The model works, and it’s replicable.” He fell in love with the area while making movies there and says, “New Orleans has its own mind, its own thing. It has a real spirit. It’s the most authentic of all American cities.”

Liz Smith

Thanks Jared for the USA today link. That was a very well written article, no focus on the triangle or Brad’s personal life and children, all about work. I hope to read more of articles like this for Brad and Angie’s interviews. Some journalists let their prejudices about actor’s personal lives block their judgement on the good movies they do. Am glad this writer is way professional and different.

Brad sounds extremely charming and intelligent.

Hello to all JP fans!

Random observations:

Wonder how they are celebrating Pax’s birthday…

Would love to see some new pics of the kids (babies too)

Talk to you soon!

TSE — What do the Cruises have to do with this? They don’t even hang out with them and your comment on a website isn’t going to affect what these celebs do.

happy sunday roast!everyone.

Liz:

But it’s sorta interesting that Tom and Brad did a movie and never ended up being friends…..says a lot about Tom ’cause everybody loves Brad, those that interview him, work with him, meet him or are blessed by his charitable deeds. Tom, just no warm and fuzzies there. Most guys Brad worked with remained friends……it’s obvious he has no ego, is smart, humble and has a great sense of humour. I suspect Tom is the divo.

D.Kay — No, what is interesting is how feeble-minded people like you will eat up anything. Just because they aren’t friends doesn’t mean it’s the doing of either of them. How does it say a lot about Tom? It could say a lot about either. Everyone loves Brad? LMAO!!! No, that is your sole opinion. You can’t know the opinion of everyone. Anyone can say anything about Brad or any celeb and idiots like you will eat it up. You don’t know Tom or Brad to say who is the nicer person. Most guys? Yes, and you know him personally to say who he is friends with? The opinion of Tom not being warm and fuzzy is yours along with Brad having no ego or being smart, humble and having a great sense of humor. I suspect that you should get out more rather than talking about these celebs like you know them or saying they are a divo. It is obvious that you will believe anything. Sad.

And before you say anything. I’m not a big fan of either one of them. I just find obsessive fans like you to be hilarious! And I don’t want to argue I just was saying you can’t judge any of these celebs without knowing them personally to know what they are really like and not what they want people to believe about them.

Changeling performing well in UK

Also in the U.K., “Changeling,” director Clint Eastwood’s period drama starring Angelina Jolie, debuted No. 3 with $1.9 million from 349 locations, the best opening for a Clint Eastwood-directed title in the market. Overall weekend for “Changeling” produced $4.4 million from 1,040 situations in five markets.

http://blogs.setonhill.edu/Setonian/028892.html

“Changeling” is a passionate movie, staring Angelina Jolie, that tugs at the heart strings to any viewer engaged in the story. One is put through an emotional rollercoaster as they witness the film that was construed based on the Wineville Chicken Murders” that took place in Riverside County, California.

The film opens with Christine Collins (Angelina Jolie) being called into work, and having to leave her son, Walter, home by himself housed with only the problem that she’ll be home by dark. Upon her return, she finds that her son is missing, and immediately calls in a report to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

After five, painful months, the LAPD contacted her with the notion that they had found her child, stranded somewhere in Illinois. Rushing to the train station with aspirations of being reuniting with her son, Collins was met by a child that resembled Walter, but was definitely not her son.

“Changeling” is based on a true story and is one that explores the conspiracies and unethical behavior of the LAPD and their effects and influence on the Los Angelos community. Packed with immense drama and some unsettling scenes, viewers are transported back into a time when women were thrown into the Psyche Ward just for confronting and challenging the police.

I’ll admit that I was hooked from the beginning, and while the movie lasts two hours and twenty minutes, it kept my attention the entire time. In fact, I don’t think I moved off the edge of my seat when the credits started to fill the screen.

I greatly recommend this movie to anyone seeking a good story with an exceptional plot. Jolie skillfully delivers a stifling performance that will bring you to tears, as you witness first hand the atrocities that our world has been through and endured. If you have a taste for justice, then this is the perfect movie to become engrossed in.

WASHINGTON, DC.- Photographers Katy Grannan, Jocelyn Lee, Ryan McGinley, Steve Pyke, Martin Schoeller and Alec Soth are featured in the National Portrait Gallery’s fourth installation of “Portraiture Now.” This series presents some of the most creative 21st-century portrait artists. The current installation, titled “Feature Photography,” identifies six critically acclaimed fine-art photographers who also have pursued editorial assignments for a variety of popular publications. The exhibition will be on view in six rooms on the first floor of the museum through Sept. 27, 2009.

Several sitters are instantly recognizable to viewers, including presidential candidates Sen. John McCain and Sen. Barack Obama and actors Angelina Jolie and Jack Nicholson, all by Schoeller; musician Billy Joel and actor Forest Whitaker by Grannan; musician Steven Morrissey (known primarily as Morrissey) by McGinley; Chinua Achebe, Henry Kissinger and Norman Mailer by Pyke. The artists all have different takes on how to portray people through photographs:

However, Schoeller’s portrait, which has appeared elsewhere, captures the actress’s legendary beauty, and suggests, through Jolie’s focused eyes and firm expression, the energy and determination that has enabled her to combine raising a large family with a demanding professional life.

Unravel The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Updated November 30, 2008 12:00 AM

“I was born under unusual circumstances.” And so begins Warner Bros.’ new romantic drama “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett.

Adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, “Benjamin Button” tells the story of a man who is born in his eighties and ages backwards: A man, like any of us, who is unable to stop time.

We follow his story set in New Orleans from the end of World War I in 1918, into the 21st century, following his journey that is as unusual as any man’s life can be.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher (“Seven,” “Zodiac”) and also starring Taraji P. Henson, Tilda Swinton, Jason Flemyng, Elias Koteas and Julia Ormond, “Benjamin Button,” is a grand tale of a not so ordinary man and the people and places he discovers along the way, the loves he finds, the joys of life and the sadness of death, and what lasts beyond time.

The film’s screenplay is by Eric Roth (“Forrest Gump”), while the screen story is by Roth and Robin Swicord (“Memoirs of a Geisha”). Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Ceán Chaffin are the producers.

Beautiful still. Benjamin Button is shaping up to be an epic love story with amazing technology. I am looking forward to seeing the Movie.

Liz,

You dont want to argue? You could have fooled me with that diatribe at #106. You could have shown that you disagreed with D.Kay without calling her “feeble minded people”, and “idiots”.

Happy Birthday to Pax.

Any pics of the family where were they for Thanksgiving?

Diatribe? No, it was called the truth. Sorry if you can’t take it.

No, I don’t want to argue and just type my opinion. And yes you’re right, but since she had the nerve to call someone else an idiot for a different opinion, she could handle it.

Thanks for the info. It is a good thing I already subscribe to Architectural Digest or I would hunt that sucker down. I am glad that the issue with BP will focus on the MIR Project.

Happy Birthday Pax and big hello to JP fans. I hope Thanksgiving Hoilday was good for all of you. I can’t wait for TCCOBB.

Anyways, before this turns into something more…

Happy Birthday to his son Pax.

Funny, when people call out Liz on her rant & opinion she keeps on responding. Voice your opinion …fine. But if you keep justifying your opinion you lose credibility & it proves only that Liz is a hater in disguise. Admit it. “Infamous” much??

Geez I meant Holiday.

Good article JJ.

dianad1968 @ 11/30/2008 at 1:47 pm

#120,

Liz,

It seems you are spoiling for a fight, but you are not getting it from me. There is nothing for me “to take” or not, since your incendiary comments weren’t directed at me. I answered you because your reply was soooo inflammatory, especially seeing you are not a fan of either, Right!!

It wasn’t a rant. I copied and pasted everything else that person typed and questioned them on how they could know such things. I didn’t need to justify my opinion. I was replying to someone else who questioned me on my opinion. Obviously I’m going to respond when others respond to me. I didn’t lose any credibility at all. My comment still hasn’t been answered, which proves it even more. Hater in disguise? Hater of whom? I don’t hate people I don’t know neither do I worship them like some. Infamous? No, I know who that is and think their comments are annoying and ridiculous. Get over the fact that not everyone shares your opinion, it doesn’t mean they are a “hater”.

Good Lord, can’t a girl go by without dealing with any trolls, fanistons, tiny dwarf(Tom Cruises) fans…

Geez…

Here we are talking about all things IMPORTANT as in Pitt …then comes a Tiny Dwarf fan with an opinion as big as a scientologist’s EGO..ERGO..

What is funny is how some people will get so worked-up over a different opinion. I don’t need to make new user names, but it seems you probably do since my original comment wasn’t directed at the two previous aliases you have typed with.

You’re the troll obviously trying to start an argument. I’m not a fan of Aniston and neither am I a “tiny dwarf” or Tom Cruise fan. Resulting to childish insults only loses what little credibility you would have with that post. Good lord, can’t a person voice an opinion without having obsessive fans going nuts on them. Geez. I’m not a fan of Tom Cruise nor was I the person to bring him up in the first place. Just because you aren’t a fan of someone doesn’t mean they aren’t important and you don’t even know these people to say who has an ego.

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/view/60637/New-Brit-vampire-star-is-driving-the-girls-batty/
OT: And I thought Zanessa was the Young BP and AJ

Unlike the young wizard, Robert’s lovelorn vampire Edward Cullen oozes sex appeal.

Yet the film contains no saucy scenes and very little violence – earning it a thumbs-up from American parents.

Showbiz “bible” Entertainment Weekly said: “Pattinson is a dreamy, sculpted hunk of a teenage vampire.”

And the Los Angeles Times declared: “Twilight makes you wish you were a romantic teen again.”

Robert and his 18-year-old co-star Kristen Stewart, with whom he is having an off-screen romance, have even been described as “a young Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie”.

No, not “spoiling” for a fight at all. It’s called voicing an opinion, something you obviously can’t do around obsessive fans or they will go nuts as I’ve witnessed here. I didn’t want a fight in the first place, seeing as you were the one to reply to me. My comment wasn’t inflammatory or incendiary at all, it was questioning this person on how they could type about these celebs like they know them. Of course obsessive fans like you would take that as an insult. I’m not a fan of either and have nothing to prove, as I haven’t stuck up for either, like you have.

In the holiday spirit, please just ignore posts that don’t fit in or make any sense.

MEMO TO LIZ @ 11/30/2008 at 2:01 pm

I GUESS LIZ WILL BE “VOICING” HER OPINION THE WHOLE DAY HERE. NOT A FAN OF ANYONE BUT LIZ PARKED HER MOJO HERE.

LIZ, WE’VE SEEN ALL THE HATERS TACTICS. NOT A FAN, JUST DROPPING BY, SAYING AN OPINION. SEEN THEM ALL FATER 4 YEARS AT JARED. THEY EVEN HAVE HATERS PRETENDING TO BE FANS.

OK TO VOICE AN OPINION BUT GOING ON & ON ABOUT YOUR OPINION…WELL YOU ARE SOUNDING LIKE A BITTER TROLL.

ENOUGH SAID. CIAO!

Hmmm I guess we got an unhappy camper on board. Too much Thanksgiving Turkey or mall fatigue. Happens every time.

Big is on AMC with Tom hanks. People are already comparing TCCOBB to Big. while I get that they both have a sub plot of aging I think that TCCOBB will be a better film. As a matter of fact , the director got the idea for Big from F. Scott Fitzgerald.’s TCCOBB. I love Big though, it’s so light hearted and sweet. It’s better than that Jennifer Garner film 13 going on 30.

…team Liz…

I’m not going on and on and only responding to what people are aiming at me. It shows how obsessive you are to automatically assume that because someone doesn’t share your opinion that they are a hater. I am only responding to comments made at me, which isn’t “all day”. I guess obsessive fans will be going off at me all day. I have any right to look up anyone on here, fan or not, like anyone on this site does. Just like you non-fans spam the Aniston posts day in and out. Hilarious by the way! I’m not pretending to be anything. I’m not a big fan or a hater. I’ve seen some of his movies and that’s it. I questioned someone on how they could know so much about Brad when they don’t know them? How is that being a hater? The only ones sounding like bitter trolls are people like you. And if my opinion bothers you so much, take Frenchy’s advice and ignore it. Problem solved. Even though it is your comments that are not making sense.

lizbot on board!

Angelina Film Style. From Changeling, Wanted to Mr. and Mrs. Smith
Pictures at link

As one of the world’s most photographed women, Hollywood A-lister Angelina Jolie always looks nothing short of spectacular. Whether gracing the front of W magazine breastfeeding one of her newborn twins or conducting her busy schedule of humanitarian work, she has an effortless poise and grace that simply shines through – a quality that Hollywood likes to both use and abuse. As a credible actress with Golden Globe awards and an Oscar to prove it, Jolie has underplayed and even sacrificed her looks onscreen, purposefully ditching glamour for character authenticity in films such as Girl, Interrupted and The Bone Collector. However when Tinseltown needs a stylish siren to play opposite one of its hottest heartthrobs, such as in Mr and Mrs Smith or a modern actress that can work period elegance as in new drama Changeling, its Angelina Jolie’s number they ring.

And so we turn to Miss Jolie to start our series on the various looks of film stars, casting an eye back over some of the must-have styles she’s modelled on the big screen. Her cinematic CV is crammed full of dramatic costumes, but we’ve selectively picked the most wearable and accessible onscreen ensembles, items that you could wear individually or together for a full-on look. So read on and find out how you can bring some Jolie flavour to your fashions.

Sad.

Pitt and Fincher ‘like brothers’

Brad Pitt is filmmaker David Fincher’s muse - because the pair is so easygoing, according to the actor’s The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button co-star Taraji Henson. Skip related content

The two stars have worked together on numerous films in their 15-year friendship, including 1995’s Se7en and 1999’s Fight Club.

The actress witnessed Pitt’s close friendship with director Fincher during filming for the forthcoming drama - and she admits she and other castmembers, including Cate Blanchett, often felt a little left out because they have their own way of communication.

She tells USA Today newspaper, “(Pitt)’s David’s muse, partly because he’s so easygoing. He’ll crack a joke, or they’ll start ripping (insulting) on each other, and everything is relaxed again.

“Sometimes you have to interrupt them just to get them to speak English. They’re like brothers - opposite in the way they act, but they understand each other the way families do.”

I am laughing so hard at this dumb troll.

Bad actor pitt stain on movies @ 11/30/2008 at 3:19 pm

Tiny Tom was better than Brad in Interview with a Vampire. He kicked ass as Lestat and you know it. Brad Pitt showed his mediocrity once again in that role. Too bad he had to poop up the movie with his acting.

http://www.iht.com/articles/2008/12/01/arts/holly.php?page=1

This year, by the Bagger’s count, seven or eight films have a shot at best picture. The consensus, in no particular order - well, O.K., in a little bit of a hierarchy - includes “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” “Slumdog Millionaire,” “Frost/Nixon,” “Revolutionary Road,” “Milk,” “Doubt” and “The Reader.” And a surprise may be waiting in the wings: Clint Eastwood has a habit of swinging out of the trees late in the game, as he did two years ago with “Letters From Iwo Jima,” so keep an eye on “Gran Torino.”

Too bad, tiny dwarf has to beg all scientologists to see his dumb nazi movie coz nobody wants see his movie.

Bye everybody have wonderful Sunday free of negativity and answering the troll.

Hello to all JP fans :-)

I see and idot has been here for hours claiming to point out her ‘view’…hmmmm what the fcuk is your view you twit…you are here at a thread …who you hate these people BUT choose to spend your whole Sunday here ranting…then you get pissed off b/c people tell you to get a life….JP fans just ignore the pathetic twit…

Awww…there is a new Pax video posted an hour ago..sooo cute :-)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWVmgiAzJEM

oh my goodness!!!, it sounds like someone is jealous of brad and his fans, they need to know that brad deserves to have intelligent fans, he is a talented good looking nice all around guy, he has done so much for human man kind, most of his movies are great, if you don’t like him, no biggie, go to a thread where they have someone you like, but i doubt there is anyone who comes close to all that brad is, on the screen and off, but good luck finding them.

Congrats to Angelina but what in the heck is this award? I’ve never heard of it.

Beyoncé Knowles for best supporting actress? Please this has to be a joke.

plez @ 11/30/2008 at 4:49 pm
From what I gather it is an offshoot of the Foreign Press Golden Globes award. Beyonce will probably get a Golden Globe nomination for her performance of Etta James. From what I read, she is quite good.

new thread @ 11/30/2008 at 5:24 pm

New thread

NEW THREAD_____!!!!!

So it means Brad is NOT going to get nominated this year again? This list actually is GG’s list. GG last year was almost the same as S’s one.

From what i read , Satellite is actually good at guessing GG and SAG and Oscar’s nominations. Their guesses were right about last year’s actress and actor’s nomination for Oscar and GG.

Not seeing a movie actually doesn’t count. They put Leo D from RR while it will be out on December. And they probably have seen the movie , because they nominated it in afew things.

Hope , Brad will handle this year’s snub again. Angie again is getting nominated for every awards , Brad is not. Not very good. Don’t you think so. He is older than her , it probably will make him jealous.

I can’t believe thqt Brad Pitt is not nominated for an Oscars!!!! Are the HW people so dumb!!! you shoud be FIRED for not recognizing what talent, great actor, versatile, the best actor ever for that last 20 years!!!!!!

I will NEVER WATCH the Oscars show, NEVER! their judgment and, opinions are good for stupid people.

What?
Why don’t you wait and see. Awards don’t beat a loving family. I am sure that BP has the best prizes of them all, his children. He also has a striving production company and Acting Career. When you can command 20 million plus backend on a picture, I wouldn’t whine too much. Peace.

Good afternoon to all BAMPZSKV fans. I truly hope you are having a wonderful Sunday. Hello senior, guli, LLM, Passing Through, irma, African Girl, Piper with a low, Cliniqua, angel, vickiefromtexas, Neleh, embo, Whiniston, and bdj.

This morning I turned on CNN and Reliable Sources was on. I don’t usually watch them because I can’t stand the moderator. Well I heard Angelina Jolie which caused my ears to perk up and my sleepy eyes to widen.

He was discussing the NYT article. He had the man from People. The one who wrote the letter to the NYT. Carlos Diaz from Extra was there as was A.J. Hammer from Showbiz Tonight. There was some woman whose name I didn’t get, or can’t remember. Which is just as well as she was a bytch.

Howard K, the moderator took the position that the NYT article was more or less true. Even though Hacker, the man from People, said it never happen. He said that Brad and Angie have never aske for any special favors. He said it was an article about the twins. Therefore what could they have asked for. Carlos Diaz said that all stars will say that there are certain topics that they will not discuss. And if you want the interview you have to agree to that. But also said that to his knowledge BP/AJ have never asked for anything special. AJ Hammer said all stars will say that they don’t want to discuss certain personal aspects of their lives. Although he said it back fired, sort of, on Angie with AMH when she asked reporters to sign a statement. But he also defended Angie.

The woman mention that Angie in a interview had said how she and Brad fell in love on the set of MMS. I am not clear on this point, but I think she said it was Angie’s attempt to get press for her movie. As I said I am not totally clear about this, but it was something like that. She was ignored. But Howard was insistent in trying to prove People wrong and that the NYT’s article was right.

If someone could find it on Youtube it might make for an interesting discussion. Peace

This year, by the Bagger’s count, seven or eight films have a shot at best picture. The consensus, in no particular order — well, O.K., in a little bit of a hierarchy — includes “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” “Slumdog Millionaire,” “Frost/Nixon,” “Revolutionary Road,” “Milk,” “Doubt” and “The Reader.” And a surprise may be waiting in the wings: Clint Eastwood, a durable crush object of the Academy, has a habit of swinging out of the trees late in the game, as he did two years ago with “Letters From Iwo Jima,” so keep an eye on “Gran Torino.”

Team Jonnyleemiller @ 11/30/2008 at 7:36 pm

Happy Birthday Pham Quang Sang!!
Sorry that the mommy who bought you changed your name when you were 3 years old b/c your REAL name wasn’t cool enough for her. How uncool!! Of course she’s not right in the head and most people that even adopt an animal from the shelter wouldn’t change the pets name.

It would be fab if they both win at least one award each for BB and Changeling!!!

I hope im not too late. Many, many returns of the day, PAX!
And wish you and your family to be together forever!

I love the JOLIE_PITTS!

Guli, If you’re going to call someone an idiot, at least be able to spell it right it just shows who the idiot is. You’re the twit for not accepting people’s point of view . Nobody said they hated anyone nor was anyone here all Sunday, accept probably yourself. You’re the one needing to get a life, you pathetic twit.

Whiniston, you are the bitter troll and your name shows that. You are obviously the name changer and pretender here who is being tormented.

Sonia, nobody is jealous of obsessive fans or your idols.

He’s so hot and fit

Happy belated to your son Pax Brad =)
