Zac Efron peeks out from behind a curtain in this new movie still for his upcoming drama, Me and Orson Welles.
Synopsis: The story of a whirlwind week in 1937 NYC when young aspiring actor Richard Samuels (Efron) is thrown into the middle of Orson Welles’ Mercury Theatre Company on the eve of the opening of Welles’ historic staging of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. During this week, Richard will find romance with a worldly older woman (Sonja Jones, played by Claire Danes), become immersed in a creative experience few are afforded, and learn the downside of crossing the imperious, brilliant Welles (Christian McKay). Richard is about to grow up fast.

HAve you noticed that when For Real posts, they only post to set the record straight and protect the reputation of Zac and Vanessa for their fans. I love that. They are not concerned with defending themself or identifying themself for the sake of attention. That is the sign of a true friend, family member or whatever.
One way we know we can trust this individual is that they never sacrifice the knowledge of Zac and Vanessa till after the fact, when they can’t be tracked or found. Very wise again. Thanks so much for respecting them. We appreiciate the news, but more than anything, want these two to be able to live normal lives like everyone else gets to. Keep posting on their behalf. /we do take note that your knowledge of them has so far come out to be 100% accurate. And every fact has been a paparazzi absent one. Meaning, you wouldn’t have the information any other way. Thanks for being open, but yet protective of them two. Love it!!

For Real what are you even talking about. Obviously Zac has not signed on to do it. No one from the cast has. The script has not even been written yet. He won’t be approached to officially sign on until then. The only rumors that are going around are that of what the story will be.
Hope he knows not to sign on. Little good will come out of it.

“Hairspray” is a perfect film. I would love to see Zac play a hippie
from the sixties but as a entirely different character in another film. Linc was fabulous because of his style ,clothes and especially his
hair, but if Zac approves of the script I will support him and trust his
judgement that it’s great. I just hope he doesn’t do projects out of
loyalty and gratitude since he might feel he owes certain people.
His talent and popularity has proven that they need him not the other way around.
I completely agree, Robin. Zac’s a nice guy but just because he may feel like he owes Adam Shankman for helping him rise to stardom from his role in Hairspray and then developing 17 Again for him, I would not want him to feel he has to do HS2.
For Real, thanks for the clarification. Mr Shankman certainly makes it sound like a “done deal”. Some sequels are just NOT good, like Grease 2, so I’m glad Zac is going to wait until the script is written, and he can give it serious consideration first.

You know, both Zac and Vanessa are such down-to-earth, grounded, real people, how can you not like them?
The reason I first took notice of them was because they are such normal, everyday people.
They don’t want to be celebrities. They want to be know for their work. And they will be. They are both just starting out. Give them a few years and they make it because they are focused and grounded.
Well, the men at Maxim Magazine have very good taste and exceptional eyesight. They have chosen Lady Vanessa as one of Maxim’s sexiest stars of 2009.
