Orlando Bloom & Miranda Kerr: Not Engaged!
Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are not engaged, even though The Sunday Telegraph exclusively reported the news to be true.
“The rumors are not true,” Orlando’s rep exclusively tells JustJared.com. “He is not engaged.”
The wedding was reported to be planned for the middle of next year. Kerrbloom supposedly celebrated their engagement with a romantic getaway in Venice last week.
However, Miranda was in Venice to shoot the autumn/winter campaign for David Jones.

Showmance? Just because you don’t think that iy is real, doesn’t mean that they aren’t happy and together. And where EXACTLY has he lied or been deceptive? Just because he doesn’t tell the world every single detail of his life, doesn’t make him deceptive. It makes him smart. And “social climbing”? I’m sure he’s very nice to people that can get him somewhere… I’m afraid that for me would include all of his co-stars….. acting is a kiss ass kinda business…….. i’m sure orlando is extremely good at ass kissing, he’s charming - and good looking and knows where it can get him….
It seems the story changes completely once he’s no longer got any use for you……..

I don’t buy any conspiracy theory and I never will. And no I’m not a blessed one though you have to agree there are many out there who think otherwise.

How would anyone know that unless they were a former friend themselves? There hasn’t been any evidence to suggest that otherwise. You often see pictures of him hanging out with his old friends and non-famous friends. Looking for trust is not a bad thing, especially since there are so many users in the world (cough) like Miranda (cough).
I can see how Miranda might think something like that but of course that’s because she can’t see that he started to change when he found out she was a lying manipulative using no good ****. That doesn’t mean he is like that with everyone.
I’m sure he isn’t the perfect image he was marketed as since that doesn’t exist outside of teenbeat magazine but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a nice guy. Not a saint or hero but just an average nice guy doing his thing.
Then how can you explain the fact that he is still friends with his LOTR co-stars. Dom, Billy, Sean(s) and Elijah can’t do anything for his career. Neither can Liv, or Viggo for that matter. Ian can help him in the UK, but not in Hollywood.
And that uni class was very small. How would you know if he is still friends with any of them?

FFS! It was a movie production–professional work, a JOB–not one of your pathetic fanfictions where everyone has remained BFFs 4EVA, name their babies after each other, and continue to this day to have BBQs every other weekend!!!
I’m sure they see each other at industry events and fundraisers, and occasionally on the street; and I’m sure they are quite cordial and happy to reminisce together for that time, but honestly, there’s been nothing to suggest that they’ve continued constant intimate relationships with each other.
They came together as professionals and worked hard and created a good entertaining movie; then went their separate ways. It’s OK and quite a NORMAL work experience.
But you dried up old morons and this high school mentality of mythology and idolization; confusing movie characters with real life actors…. you desperately cling to it no matter how these people actually live their lives, right in front of your own gd noses!! Talk about not being able to handle real life! Get over it and move on. Bloomie et. al. certainly have.

the poster said. It’s not fanfic to see that people make friends and keep them.
Didn’t Orlando spend time with an old actor friend he worked with on this last trip to oz? The one he was with when he said he would rather drinking then go to a cheesy DJ show.
There is also a thread on this blog where he was having lunch with Eric Bana. No one said they have slumber parties together but they do hang out from time to time.(okay, maybe a few of the vigorlie crowd but that’s another story). He does have friends from his past movies and does spend time with them.

Just because you can’t make friends, doesn’t mean that others can’t.
Yeah, he and Eric got together for lunch earlier this year. Four years after filming Troy. Oh, and since you were wondering, the most recent documented LOTR reunion happened while he was doing the play in London last year. Liv came to his play, then went out to dinner with him. This was a full six years after they completed filming. Oh, and Naomi Harris, his POTC co-star also came to visit him during his play. They were so friendly that it was rumoured that they were in a relationship. And these are just some of the reunions that we have heard about. No telling how many other times that they has gotten together.
The LOTR actors became friends over a long, isolated shoot, where they were all thousands of miles away from home. Their “fellowship” helped them through the rough times. They are lifelong friends. Just as they all have said. Over and over.
Yeah, it was one of the actors from Ned Kelly. A movie that Orlando filmed six years ago, before he was really famous. And his co-star is another one of those people who can do nothing for Orlando’s career, yet Orlando made a point to get together with him while he was in Australia.

Remember, these are women with obssesive personalities and the same compulsions to build up, as you noted, a fantasy scenario around a romantic fantastical movie are the same compulsions that have them combing and cataloging every detail of a real person’s life, and creating a romantic fantasy image of that person as well. They do cling to it desperately and will fight you tooth and nail if challenged. Be glad its just the Internet toots, if you were in a room with them I’ve seen this type easily lose it.

Wow, you obsessed fangirls really are a desperate lot, aren’t you? Orlando had lunch with a former co-star 10 months ago. Big effing deal. If he’s so highly thought of, why won’t anyone hire him? He hasn’t had a new role in over 4 years. He isn’t getting any good roles offered to him now. Despite the delusions you fangirls are feeding yourself, he’s not taking a break from work, he’s not working because he doesn’t have any offers, at least not for anything credible. He’s trying to work and pulling whatever strings he can, but that only got him a 10 minute spot in a movie with a hundred other people. He was unceremoniously dumped from one of the few roles he could have had, only further harming his reputation with the people making movies. So yeah, congratulations, keep kidding yourselves that he’s such a swell guy, while the people behind the scenes and making the decisions know how fake all that is.
