Orlando Bloom & Miranda Kerr: Not Engaged!

Once again the subject has been changed.
There was a comment made about Orlando not really getting on well and remaining friends with his former co-stars.
Then there was lots of evidence to prove otherwise.
Since the person that made the first comment didn’t want to hear the truth they said it must be a fangirl thing and started changing the subject to be about them. Now you are changing it again and making it about his work.

You’re talking about the relationships Orlando has maintained with people he’s worked with. So am I. That’s not changing the subject. He has been seen with former co-stars, meetings that will get a sighting mentioned in the paper or a picture taken. Evidently, these are the only things he cares about or puts any effort into. There are relationships with other people he’s worked with that may not be seen on a gossip blog. But the status of how those relationships have been maintained and the respect that those people have for him is obvious in the the pictures you don’t see. Those are the ones that taken with video cameras where he’s paid to act. He hasn’t done any in a long time and doesn’t have any offers to film one any time soon. But, yeah. Congratulations! You’re right! He had lunch with a former colleague 10 months ago. Big effing deal.

ha, ha ha. There they are, rantings from the obsessive, delusional fangirls. You can claim that you just want to clarify, but as soon the truth that you don’t like comes out the desperate defenses fly. Don’t like to see that pedestal isn’t quite steady, huh? What was that you said about shifting blame and deflecting from facts? Rumors about supposed offers and paychecks that never happened? Excuses about minor roles? If he has such good relationships with the people he’s worked with in the past, then why hasn’t he had a new role in over 4 years? Why did he leave a movie that he was already on set for over a week? Pre-production on a film- tell me, what studio is producing it? Who is financing it? Who’s the distributor? Producing a movie also doesn’t change the fact that he’s getting no scripts or offers for good roles. In fact, it supports the fact that he’s got nothing else and the scripts he does get are crap. Plenty of good actors produce movies they believe in, but they do it in addition to doing quality roles in other films. See, that keeps them in the good graces of big studio execs and financiers and provides the paychecks that managers and agents like. But go ahead, keep your head in the clouds. You don’t want to see that that burning bridges has kept him out of work, but the fact remains is that he is out of work and he’s the one holding the match.

It seems like there’s a lot of jealous girls around here. I hate famewhores more than the average person but I really don’t mind her so much. She doesn’t seem to try and cultivate it like Hayden or Sophia.

Abd she DOES look like a cabbage patch, but I like Cabbage patches. And she’s still cute.

And if you knew anything about film making, you would know that independent movies get a distributor after they are made.

The rights to Rory Stewart biography has just recently been bought by Brad Pitt’s production company. So that movie is one step closer. Orlando will be starring as the young diplomat. See, that comes from those nice strong bridges he built while working with Brad in Troy.

You are saying that the “fangirls” are ranting, delusional and obsessive. But you seem to be the only one who is ranting and showing signs of delusional obsession. Get over it. Many people have proven you wrong. Why are you so insistant that he is a horrible person?

I think that was meant as sarcasm. Notice they called him “Sir Ridley”, which means that they know EXACTLY who he is.

But you’re right about casting. Orlando doesn’t have the power to cast, and I don’t believe that this was ever implied, much less stated. But to carry over your point, Johnny Depp WOULD have that power, especially in the POTC series. I seem to recall saying that he loved Orlando. If Johnny had wanted him replaced, it would have been done to keep Jack Sparrow happy.

Basically, no one here has claimed that Orlando is anything other than a nice person. No one said that he is a power in the business, and no one claimed that he was a saint. We were simply showing that the poster who keeps claiming that he has “burned bridges” is wrong.
