Robert Pattinson Enters The Wasteland
Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson keeps his sexy head of hair under a beanie as he strolls along Melrose Avenue after a late afternoon shopping spree in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The 22-year-old British actor picked up a few items from second-hand clothing store “The Wasteland”. Afterwards, Robert was stopped on the street by a young fan. Of course, he kindly stopped to pose for a quick pic.
Later in the evening, Robert picked up some off-the-menu options at the In-N-Out drive-through. He chowed down in his car and stopped at a gas station, where he threw out his burger trash. Robert then picked up a case of Heineken beer and headed home.

Very cool. I love Wasteland. My favorite store on Melrose. For those saying they’re surprised he’s shopping at a “second-hand” store, yes the clothes are worn but they are still relatively expensive. The store hand picks what to be sold, its mostly designer stuff or vintage/authentic clothing. Regardless, it’s cool he shops there too.

If you are interested in “green clothing” (recycled clothing) your best bet is going to thrift stores like the Salvation Army, Hospital Auxiliary stores, etc. - You can get great clothing for reasonable prices & the money goes to help those in need.
I also saw the last part of a news story a few months back that I only watched while distracted - Not the best thing to do since I’ve tried to remember enough details to contact the station the piece appeared on for more information. But alas, I couldn’t remember which station it was on…
Anyway, it concerned a woman who realized the number of clothing ending up in landfills every year - something like 2 tonnes! So she decided to put out fliers & inform people that she’s an experienced seamstress & if they brought their old clothes to her she could (for a small fee) alter them into NEW CLOTHING! The venture took off & now she employs other seamstresses to help - Old clothes get taken apart, fabric “scraps” added (if chosen), & reshaped. An old dress becomes a NEW skirt, blouse/vest, etc. The clothes that CAN’T be saved (stains, etc.) are cut up to become pieces for altered clothing.
Maybe someone else saw what I did & was aware enough to get the name of the woman who runs it or the name of the business so I can find out more.

he is so adorable. walkin around by himself and stuff. i would be so scared to walk up to him tho! like too intimidated by his..like..hotness. ahaha but i feel kinda bad for him. all this fame and **** makes him drink more. i read in a magazine that he is drunk by 6:30 every night and mixes beer, red wine, and shots of Patron. awww! thats what his friend said, btw. i love his clothes too. great style =]
as always rob looks great but i have to agree with the lot give him some privacy. i saw a video with him getting some boxes and you could just tell that he was not liking the camera in the face, i dont blame him that would get old fast.
off course rob is always good looking but i think he need to have some time to himself without the paparazze in his face he really dont like it . but i adore you rob maybe you should come to chattanooga tn some time and we could hang out. love ya
