Angelina Jolie Hits NOLA ‘Benjamin Button’ Screening
Angelina Jolie looks wonderful in white as she comes out to support partner Brad Pitt at the NOLA screening of his new locally shot movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, in New Orleans on Monday evening.
Angie has buttons on the back of her L’Wren Scott dress. Buttons! Get it? The 33-year-old mother-of-six finished off her look with Stuart Weitzman peep-toes and earrings from M S Rau Antiques. Brad looked killer in his Tom Ford suit!
The cast-and-crew screening is a Tinseltown-flavored thank-you to local film-industry workers who played a part in the making of the film, which opens Christmas Day. The film also stars Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton.

I wonder if Brad & Angie will watch the boxing fight between Mexican Oscar de La Hoya and Filipino Manny Paquiao on Dec.6 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. I know both of them like boxing. In fact, they went to see Riccky Hatton’s fight before.
Somebody told me earlier today that she heard on the news that Angie & Brad will watch it among the many celebrities. I just don’t know if it’s true or not. That remains to be seen.

As the Dec. 9 DVD release of “The Dark Knight” approaches, fans have casting picks for director Christopher Nolan should he create another Batman film. According to a survey conducted by Blockbuster Inc., movie fans are hoping to see Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie play starring roles. The villains that fans would most like to see Batman take on are The Riddler and The Joker’s therapist turned girlfriend Harley Quinn.
“Both Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie are actors who can bring a Batman villain to life in the complex, realistic style that have made Nolan’s films so popular,” said Keith Leopard, director of film product for Blockbuster Inc. “It would be exciting to see what they could do with The Riddler’s compulsive clue-giving and Harley Quinn’s transformation from brilliant therapist to psychotic criminal.”

Why the X keeps on mentioning Brad in almost all her interviews lately? Because the X is pathetic & coatailing, irrelevant without mentioning Brad & Angie’s names? Have to admit, Brad Pitt looks mighty happy on CNN and Ellen D., especially when he talks about his family. And Angie looks sexy and elegant at the same time. Let’s not forget they have six children and many commitments. Some people look for physical beauty by tanning, etc. Some find inner beauty by taking care of others.
You can cut and dice it any way, the obvious is obvious. That the Jolie-Pitts found inner beauty when they found each other.
I thought Angelina looked absolutely gorgeous. But I thought Brads tie and shirt combination was hideously hideous!
Anyway as always in the situation, who cares what I think, you think, or anyone thinks, as long as he was happy with his choices.

Angie brings some old-fashioned movie glamor into the streets of New Orleans with this really beautiful white L´Wren Scott dress. She looks absolutely happy and radiant. And her other half doesn´t look bad either. Brad looks handsome as ever. But that moustache! He shouold do something about it. It doesn´t suit him at all. He has said that he is trying to bring the moustache back into fashion but in his case it doesn´t seem to work. I really hope that as soon as Inglorious ******** has been shot he gets rid of that thing in his handsome face ASAP! BTW. Those both interviews (Ellen and Larry King Live) show how happy he is. It´s great to see how freely he talks about his famioly although in one of the recent interviews he said that he doesn´t like to talk about them because it´s not right toward his family to talk about them. He obviously loves Angie and the children very much. He has finally reached the point in his life where he was ready for this (family). He has love and happiness in his life and he wouldn´t trade it for anything anymore. He longed for that for so long. God bless this family!

The chairman of Harpo Inc. was selected “based on her dizzying array of Oprah-branded media and her immense cultural influence,” editor-in-chief Elizabeth Guider said in a statement Friday.
The Hollywood Reporter also ranks the industry’s highest-paid actresses each year. Angelina Jolie is No. 1, commanding more than $15 million a movie, followed by Julia Roberts and last year’s top earner, Reese Witherspoon.

I posted on the JA thread but I want to add that she has the nerve to say that VF has turned tabloid, but she said the those things. She also said the Caryn James article was venemous why ? because someone criticized her little crazy snobbish a##. She is the one with the problems not Angie. People don’t see but theyare beginning to see let her keep talking. Even O knows she’s a liar now.
The dress is classic. She looks stunning.
She has been dressing like this since at least the time she first became involved with the UN. But then I forget how very young she still is. She started dressing in more classic styles as she grew up in her mid 20s. She is definitely no Surfer/Valley Girl. Remember she only moved to LaLa land in her adolescence. Before that she mostly grew up in the NYC area. I can see why she felt out of place moving to LA when she did. It’s a different world. Much more superficial than a NYC sensibility. [Is my bias showing? LOL ]

Hers is like she’s featured in the playboy magazine. VERY SUPERFICIAL . What is she trying to prove? That she is saying goodbye to her Rachel image both on and off cam? That this time she wants to be taken seriously as an actress and as a person? That she is indeed sexy and oozes with great sex appeal? That she can also be like Angie or just want to compete with her? That she wants to get Brad’s attention and as if she’s saying to him,”Hey look Honey, this is what you get to lose…?

I dont think she is stick thin at all, I think she is fine the way she is. Angie is not a thick girl, she probably will add muscles for her new movie but she is thin by nature. I think thin is better than thick anyway. It is so unattractive to be big, I would never let myself become overweight!

I hate to break it to you, but “opinionatedly” is a word — meaning one who is always being ready to express opinions and tending to hold to them stubbornly, unreasonably dismissing other people’s views.
