Nicole Kidman & Hugh Jackman: Paris Partners
Australia stars Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman take their spouses along for a late-night dinner at Hotel Costes in Paris on Sunday evening.
Nicole, 41, walked hand-in-hand with her husband, country music superstar Keith Urban, while Hugh, 40, brought along his actress wife Deborra-Lee Furness.
Both Hugh and Nicole are expected to walk the red carpet tonight at the premiere of Australia in the City of Lights. The Baz Lurhmann-directed epic is in US theaters now. For more info, visit AustraliaTheMovie.com.

Lina, I could NOT have said it better myself! Had this movie been a cheap, idiotic piece of junk made for idiots without any culture or taste the Americans would have loved it! Hahaha
kit - are you familiar with “Twlight”? My 21 year-old niece read it when she was a teenager and had to see the movie now. I guess it’s bad for teenagers to read a book and then want to see the movie - sort of like Harry Potter as well! I suppose that’s a stupid movie because Kidman wasn’t in that one either.
Do you mean to tell me that every Australian knows everything about American History? If that’s the case, your leading lady Kidman didn’t even know that Darwin was bombed during WWII - so much for her intelligence and being so sophisticated! Kidman doesn’t even know the history of her own country!
Box Office Poison Kidman strikes again. Too bad for Hugh Jackman,he was the ONLY decent thing in this over long piece of crap. People were walking out of the show asking for their money back after 30 minutes.

Since Americans are often fascistic they don’t believe in free speech, either. They just say they do, since it sounds good. It’s all about appearances.
No wonder they don’t like a superb film like Australia but prefer garbage. Hamburger inventors are like that. They prefer that to real food — and empty trash to real, genuine films.
Americans are infinitely stupid and uneducated, ignorant, uncivilized, arrogant and ridiculous in their false sense of grandeur. They live in a third-rate nation which is responsible for the current recession - a country that doesn’t feed its own starving people, and execute its own citizens. These disgusting aliens LOVE garbage when it comes to film, and most other things, as well.
I take it as a HUGE compliment that people in the US don’t see this film! Good riddance.
Oh please! Stop lying! Nobody walked out on this film. Australia is the best movie I have seen all year. Everybody in the theater loved it. 20 million for this type of film is really good! This isn’t a mindless action film or a teen movie and it wasn’t expected to do big blockbuster money and you haters know that! Come Oscar time we’ll see how much competiton Australia gets from 4 Christmases. Nicole was great in this movie so was the little boy in the film and hugh. Nobody can look Reese Witherspoon in the face and tell her 4 Christmases is a good movie because it is a piece of junk.
Lina if people here loved GARBAGE so much Australia woud have come in #1 at the box office not #5. And all of Kidman’s movies would do well instead of flop since she is a plastic piece of trash.
Very funny #56. I wouldn’t reccomend that any one waste money on a Kidman movie. I like the music Keith put out before Kidman came along but that doesn’t translate to being in love with him..

PEOPLE SHOULD BE MORE INFORMED AND DON’T READ PEREZ HILTON BOARD
I saw the movie and it was fantastic!
I hope this movie doesn’t even break even, it will be fun to see how devestating it will be for her annoying obsessive fans as they watch her box office poison streak continue.
Please open your minds to this movie! It is being misunderstood by so many. It is both a gorgeous and brilliant film. It is about story telling. Cynicism needs to be let go of in order to understand the way in which it is being told. To slam it for being ‘cheesy’ and ‘corney’ is missing the point. Lurhmann is conveying a ‘wavelength’, a ’state of mind’. Watch and listen to what an indigenous culture is saying. Call it a cliche movie, but what is heartfelt is actually subtle. A movie made with love, passion. Respect for American story telling - albeit the old-fashioned kind - the kind deserving not to be forgotten. Appreciation and big-heartedness expressed through the gentle eyes of a particular culture. Think about wonder and hope.
Whats with the slamming of NK? Lets not be viscious. I saw her on Letterman. She looks to me to be sensitive, vulnerable and shy. I think shes really lovely.
