Brad Pitt sat down for another interview with Today Show’s Ann Curry to talk about his Make It Right Foundation project in New Orleans. He also talked a bit about his family:
On his six children: “I’m really proud of this family. I look at my sons and daughters. … I feel rich being around them. Each one offers so much to the mix.”
On why he doesn’t talk much about his family in interviews: “I just walk away feeling bad about it when I do. It seems to get cheapened somehow as it goes through the filter and the airwaves. I just want to keep it close to the chest.”
On if he’d marry Angelina Jolie: “If we feel it’s important to our kids, we would.”

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - It was a bittersweet moment for Brad Pitt, walking through the Lower 9th Ward neighborhood where families were preparing to spend their first holidays since Hurricane Katrina.
Those families are moving into the first six houses built through Pitt’s Make It Right foundation. One home was already strewn with green garland, lights, wreaths and red bows.
Still, Pitt is restless.
“I’m really happy for the families that are going to be here, but I can’t help but think about the families that aren’t,” Pitt said Monday. “It’s a push-pull for me. The excitement is that it’s being proven, that it’s working. The frustration is that we have a long way to go.”
Make It Right was launched by Pitt a year ago. The program calls for construction of 150 energy-efficient homes in a section of New Orleans washed away when Katrina broke levees Aug. 29, 2005.
So far, six homes have been built. Two more are under way, and construction on another 14 begins in early 2009. Pitt smiles, gets a little giddy even, when talking about where the project will be in another year.
“You’re going to see 100 homes here, mark my words,” he said. “It’s nice to see a few, but I’m anxious to see 100, 150, 1,000.”
Pitt said that by December 2009, the Lower 9th Ward should be one of the nation’s largest “green” neighborhoods.
“It’s amazing,” he said. “This place that suffered such injustice and so much death can become one of the primary examples of a high-performance neighborhood. It really is amazing.”
Inez Converse, 71, isn’t concerned about her area setting any records. She’s just happy to be back in the neighborhood she lived in for more than 35 years before Katrina. And she said she was glad she had the chance to thank Pitt personally.
“He didn’t have to do this,” she said. “I’m just grateful he is doing it.”
Monday was a busy day for Pitt and partner Angelina Jolie, who appeared at a screening of Pitt’s new film “The Curious case of Benjamin Button.” The couple - Pitt in a suit and tie and Jolie in a form-fitting cream L’Wren Scott dress - was the highlight of the red-carpet event.
The film, which also stars Cate Blanchett, opens Dec. 25. But because it was filmed in New Orleans in 2006 and 2007, Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. held a special screening here.
“It’s a gorgeous, gorgeous film,” said Pitt, who in the movie plays a man who begins life as elderly and grows younger with time. “It’s a film that makes you want to hug your kids and call your folks.”
Pitt also described the movie as “a love letter to New Orleans.”
“There’s a sense of magic here, so it made this fantastic story almost believable,” he said.
Pitt said his fondness for the city led him and Jolie to buy an early-1830s masonry mansion in the French Quarter. Pitt said the home was recently renovated to accommodate the needs of the couple and their six children. He quashed recent rumors that the couple had sold their home.
While the homes built by Pitt’s project are more contemporary than the Creole cottages and shotgun-style homes typical of New Orleans, they incorporate some elements used in the area for generations, such as high ceilings and shaded porches.
The homes also have solar panels and other features that help cut energy bills by at least 75 percent, Pitt said. Other architectural elements addresses challenges of the area, including ventilation and mold- and termites-resistant materials.
“The misunderstanding of architecture is that it’s all about aesthetics,” Pitt said. “It’s not. First and foremost, it’s about function.”
The homes, costing $150,000 on average, are for property owners who can pay insurance and taxes. Monthly payments are based on applicants’ income and subsidized by Pitt’s foundation.
Pitt said his motivation to see this project through stems from a lot of things, among them his “love for architecture, a love for technology, a love for fairness and justice.” But it also stems from his love “for all things New Orleans.”
“There’s just something about this place,” he said.

Thanks so wonderful that some families got to have Thanksgiving in their new home. When I saw my water bill I wanted to have one of those homes that uses rain water for flushing toilets. and watered the lawn.

Hollywood super couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie headed to New Orleans last night to promote Pitt’s new flick, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” — and declared their love for the Big Easy!
“It’s a gorgeous film and a love letter to New Orleans,” Brad tells The Times-Picayune. Pitt and Jolie have been vocal about their love for the city since buying a house in the French Quarter a couple years ago. “I love it that my kids and my family can move around the city and enjoy a sense of normalcy,” adds Brad.
“My kids are happy here,” Angie said. “It’s such a unique community — it feels very different than any part of the States.”
Brad’s Make It Right foundation is currently rebuilding homes in New Orleans that were devastated after Hurricane Katrina. “I see things happening,” Brad says of the foundation’s steady progress. “Finally, things are happening.”

hello fans, brad Pitt is on cine max in the Mexican, he is so good and cute, hehehehe he is so proud of his lovely family, as he should be, he waited his whole life for them. it’s been my experience that older parents make great parents because they are more patient, and have finished most of the things they wanted to achieve in life so they can actually focus more on the children and every little thing they do. but all parents are great, just an observation.

Movie executives transformed Elmwood into Hollywood on Monday as reporters from Entertainment Tonight and Access Hollywood filmed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie walking the red carpet to promote locally shot “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”
“It’s a gorgeous film and a love letter to New Orleans,” Pitt said, standing on the red carpet, formerly the westernmost exit of the AMC Palace 20 Elmwood.
Directed by David Fincher, whose credits also include “Se7en,” “Fight Club” and “Zodiac,” the movie stars Pitt as a man who is born elderly and grows younger. The love of his life is played by Cate Blanchett, who ages normally, and the couple intersect at middle-age.
Monday’s invitation-only cast-and-crew screening was the film’s first showing locally. It opens Dec. 25.
The film’s producer, Frank Marshall (”The Sixth Sense,” Back to the Future,”) said the decision to film the movie in New Orleans was based both on state’s film-industry tax incentives and the look of New Orleans.
“It’s so rich in history and character and people and food and music,” Marshall said. “All things I love.”
The F. Scott Fitzgerald novel on which the movie is based is set in Baltimore. But Marshall said, “I can’t imagine shooting this movie anywhere else.”
Jolie and Pitt, who bought a house in the French Quarter a couple years ago, separately talked with reporters on the red carpet, and both said they have fallen in love with the city.
“I love it that my kids and my family can move around the city and enjoy a sense of normalcy,” Pitt said.
“My kids are happy here,” Jolie said. “It’s such a unique community. . . . It feels very different than any other part of the States.”
Jolie wore a simple cream L’Wren Scott dress hemmed just below her knees and dangling diamond earrings from a local shop, M.S. Rau Antiques.
She and Pitt have six children, three biological and three adopted from other countries. She said her children like to get po-boys at Verdi Mart, a deli about three blocks from their French Quarter home.
Pitt’s Make It Right foundation is rebuilding homes in the Lower 9th Ward. Progress is “wonderful and it’s horrible,” Pitt said. He explained his remarks by saying that six families are in their homes but he wishes that number could be in the thousands. He said that by this time next year, 100 homes will be finished.
Pitt said he’s happy to see progress in rebuilding around New Orleans.
“I see things happening,” he said. “Finally things are happening.”
Jennifer Day, director of the New Orleans Office of Film and Video, said the movie “showcases the beauty and the magic of the city.”
She said there are 20 major film and television projects in the region this year, with annual budgets of a combined $275 million. She said “Button,” which cost an estimated $150 million to make, and the 2006 Denzel Washington thriller “Dejà Vu,” are the two biggest movies that have been made recently in New Orleans.
Among the others who walked the red carpet Monday were heavyweight producer Kathleen Kennedy, Rita Benson LeBlanc and Jefferson Parish President Aaron Broussard.
“This is an industry that is a godsend for a community like ours,” Broussard said. He said Jefferson Parish rented out space in a warehouse for movie props, such as a giant clock that features prominently in the production.

But for some reason Angelina Jolie doesn’t seem like the kind of person who intentionally chased after any of those things, they just sort of happened.
It’s like “The Perfect Storm: Personality Edition.”
She gave great face last night at a screening of perfect partner Brad Pitt’s new movie, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” as she made her way into the theater.
Most women would loathe being photographed from behind while craning their necks, but it’s not like Angelina has a “good side” — she’s pretty perfect 360 degrees.

The New Orleans Office of Film and Video says the city is about to wrap up a record year for movie-making, and one of the first films to be shot in the city after Katrina is getting ready to hit the big screen. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button doesn’t hit theaters until Christmas Day, but Monday night, the movie’s producers and stars were in town for a special screening the Palace 20 in Elmwood. Among that star studded crowd was one of New Orleans’ most famous residents, Brad Pitt.
Pitt and Cate Blanchett star in the movie, an unusual story of a man who was born in his eighties and ages backwards. The story is set in the 1920’s in New Orleans. Much of it was filmed in a New Orleans Garden District mansion, blocks from St. Charles Ave.
Pitt said, “it (New Orleans) made the magic believable.” Angelina Jolie, who was with Pitt for the screening, said “it (Benjamin Button) touches on deep love, but it also touches on death and people who move with us through life.” image
Benjamin Button was filmed all across the New Orleans Region, in Orleans, Jefferson and St. Tammany Parishes and for nearly 100 days. “That’s basically about three movies worth of shooting days just for one project,” said Jennifer Day, New Orleans Office of Film and Video Director. She said they even helped in rebuilding efforts while filming. “If they chose a location that they wanted to use for the project, and it needed sprucing up or refurbishing, they absolutely did that,” said Day.
Benjamin Button is one of 20 film and tv projects that is setting up New Orleans for a record breaking year. Day said, “those 20 projects equal total budgets of an estimated $275 million.” She said at least half of that is spent locally.
So, why New Orleans? “With the film business, it’s all about money, and they (filmmakers) came here because it’s all about economics they can mount this here, ” said Pitt. Louisiana’s tax incentives are a huge draw, and Day said add to that the region’s strong local talent base.
Local actress Donna Duplantier said, “I’m actually the mother of the young gentleman in the beginning of the film who passes away during the war.”

Pitt credits the city of New Orleans with making the dream of this film come to life. Pitt says, “There’s a magic and rhythm to this place. You could almost believe that the film would happen and also the extras. That’s we had here. There’s such a great flavor to the film and the people that worked on it.”
Pitt and Jolie say they fell in love with this city the first time they visited. Jolie explains, “Our kids love it here and they love it when we get to stay here for long periods of time. They love the schools; they love the other kids, the other parents. It’s just…it’s hard to explain. We just felt at home.”
Local experts like Loyola professor of video technology, Jim Gabour, say more and moiré film makers are turning their sights on the Big Easy because of lucrative tax credits.

At the premiere of the expected blockbuster - The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - in Harahan Monday night, the stars were out. They were quick to talk about the Crescent City’s rise in the movie industry, and how it’s setting impacted the film.

Brad Pitt plays lead in the film. He and wife Angelina Jolie say the movie thrived because of its location.
“Well it was big tax breaks that brought us here. I mean, that’s not my department, but that’s what brought us here,” said Pitt. “I’m telling you, it did something else for the film. It suddenly grounded it in a way that wouldn’t have worked in other places. You know, there’s magic and rhythms to New Orleans, that something mystical could happen here.”
It was a vibe that was critical for a movie about a man who ages backwards.
“From what I saw visiting the set, just all of the local people from the crew to the actors — they come with such wonderful commitment and it’s also such a creative place,” added Jolie.
While the city offers charm and mystery to films, the industry brings in much-needed cash to the area.
Louisiana has become a major hub for movies — some have dubbed it “Hollywood South.”
And New Orleans is getting a nice piece of the pie. Officials with the city’s Office of Film and Video say the metro area hosted more than 20 major movie and television projects in 2008, which brought in budgets of more than $275 million.
Jennifer Day, the film office’s director, says it all adds up to a record-breaking year for films in New Orleans.
“That is absolutely back up to any Pre-Katrina levels that existed, and we’re hoping to keep up the pace in 2009,” Day said.
Day cautions, the current economic climate could put a dent in things. But, points to an already healthy slate of projects set for the coming year.
Producers for ‘Benjamin Button’ aren’t surprised to hear that.
“We’re hoping the legacy that we’ve left here from ‘Benjamin Button’ is reinvigorating the film industry (here), and a place where a lot more movies will be made,” said producer Frank Marshall.
“I think it offers an enthusiasm for one. I think there’s a tremendous potential crew base here, that can make films and I think that the locations are a wide variety of looks and feeling to such a beautiful city, that it really offers a lot of opportunity,” said producer Kathleen Kennedy.
‘Benjamin Button’ was originally scheduled for filming in Boston, but plans changed, and producers say New Orleans gave them exactly what they were looking for.
Brad Pitt is an on-and-off New Orleans resident himself - someone who has become a cheerleader for the city.
But ask the actor if he’s spreading the word about the city’s place in filmmaking, and he’ll tell you, that isn’t necessary.
“I don’t have to speak for New Orleans. New Orleans speaks pretty well for itself as it is,” Pitt said.

As parents to six kids, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie already have commitment to each other. But the actor says he’d consider making it legal – if later on it becomes important to the couple’s children.
Asked by Ann Curry on Tuesday’s Today show if he and Jolie plan to tie the knot, Pitt replied, “Listen, if we feel it’s important to our kids, we will do so.”
But right now the actor, who currently stars in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, says their focus is raising their kids.
“I’m really proud of this family,” says Pitt, who adds that the children’s diverse background (Maddox, 7, is from Cambodia; Pax, 5, from, Vietnam; and Zahara, 3, from Ethiopia) doesn’t change the fact that they are “brothers and sisters.”
“I feel rich, I just feel rich being around them. It’s a rich home. Each one of them offers so much to the mix.”
Still, even a superstar finds such a big brood challenging at time. “Surprisingly, six kids is not as easy as you would think,” he says wryly.

Brad Pitt recently spoke with Ann Curry of The Today Show in an interview which aired this morning. In the interview, Pitt reveals that he hates talking about his family–which makes close to no sense considering that he and Angelina Jolie pretty much never stop giving updates on what their six kids are doing. Remember the other day when Angelina Jolie gave that interview that chalked up to the announcement that the twins were now “smiley”? And when Brad told Oprah Winfrey that Zahara once made him smell dog poop? This is what we’re dealing with.
When asked why he doesn’t like talking about his personal life, Pitt answered, “I just walk away feeling bad about it when I do, because there’s no way to give it true validity and weight and what it means to you in your life–and it seems to get cheapened somehow as it goes through the filter and the airwaves, and some things you just want to keep close to the chest.” But he doesn’t want intimate pictures that he takes of his partner with her nipple exposed kept close to his chest…he wants those on the cover of W.
Pitt also said that he hates the paparazzi and the lengths they go to get photos of his kids. Said Pitt, “I hate ‘em. I hate these people. I don’t understand that they do that for a living. We have to make a distinction between people who photograph celebrities at events and people who climb over your walls wearing camouflage and calling out your kids names as you take them to school so that they’ll look that way. I have no respect for these people…”

Families move into homes that Pitt built
I’m really happy for the families that are going to be here, but I can’t help but think about the families that aren’t,” Pitt said Monday. “It’s a push-pull for me. The excitement is that it’s being proven, that it’s working. The frustration is that we have a long way to go.”
Make It Right was launched by Pitt a year ago. The program calls for construction of 150 energy-efficient homes in a section of New Orleans washed away when Katrina broke levees Aug. 29, 2005.
So far, six homes have been built. Two more are under way, and construction on another 14 begins in early 2009. Pitt smiles, gets a little giddy even, when talking about where the project will be in another year.

‘Benjamin Button’ to debut in Boise
BOISE - Producer Frank Marshall will be in Boise December 10th to host the screening of his newest production - The Curious Case of Benjamin Button at the Egyptian Theater in Downtown Boise.
Tickets for the screening are $25.
You can also be part of a question and answer with the producer or sit down to breakfast with him for $100-250.
All of the money benefits the Boise Contemporary Theater.
“What I’m excited about is that Frank will be here and we’ll get a chance to pay attention to him, and honor him and the great support that he’s given BCT and this community over the years,” Matthew Cameron Clark, BCT Artistic Director said
Clark said Marshal’s ties to the community come from a long-time love of the area.
“He has sort of made Boise a philanthropic home in a way. He doesn’t live here, although he and his wife Kathleen Kennedy, who is also a producer, had a place here for awhile in the ’80’s, but he likes the community and knows that these kind of events can have a huge impact in a city the size of Boise,” Clark said.

‘Benjamin Button’ Showcases City, Local Talent
HARAHAN, La. — It was a star-studded evening Monday on the red carpet in Jefferson Parish for the premiere of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett.
Local leaders say the movie is shining a bright light on another of the film’s stars – New Orleans. They expect the movie will draw worldwide attention to the city.
“There’s something magic to New Orleans, that has really made this film work,” said Pitt, who arrived at the movie premiere with girlfriend Angelina Jolie.
New Film Stars City Of New Orleans
“It’s a beautiful film. But I also think it’s a lovely love letter to New Orleans,” Jolie said.
“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is the story of a man who ages backward. It wasn’t initially set in the Crescent City.
“Before, the story was supposed to be set in Baltimore. It was just about two people and their lives going opposite ways,” producer Frank Marshall said. “But when we came to New Orleans and saw what fantastic opportunities were here with locations, buildings and people, it became a character in the story.”
The film cost $150 million.
“As expensive a film as it was, it probably wouldn’t have gotten done if we didn’t get the breaks we got in New Orleans,” Pitt said.
Louisiana is the No. 3 state in the country for film production, thanks to state tax incentives.
Local leaders hope Louisiana continues to roll out the red carpet for filmmakers because it generates millions locally.
“Here in Jefferson Parish, for instance, a lot of props for this movie were stored in the Reem Building, which we sublet and turn a profit using unused warehouse space to help us recycle back in the film industry,” Jefferson Parish President Aaron Broussard said.
The movie showcases local talent, including Lance Nichols, a New Orleans native.
“It was an honor to be in this film and work with director David Fincher,” he said.
The film also showcased local landmarks.
“Of course, Jackson Square. We have some uptown neighborhoods in it. Film crews did work with the street car and actually refurbished some of the tracks during production,” said Jennifer Day, director of the New Orleans Office of Film and Video.
And if you look closely, you may also notice some local television personalities. WDSU meteorologist Margaret Orr makes a small cameo, as her weather forecasts before Hurricane Katrina play in the background during several scenes.

OK, I now believe Lainey has been bought, or she is trying very hard to be obnoxious and snarky as MK at dlisted. These people are deliberately misconstruing Brad’s interview. He said he does not like to talk about his family, because everything gets filtered, and cheapened. He is not talking for Angie. They are two different people, so why are these idiots criticising him for his comments? I remember a lot of fans, me included, were kind of upset with him, because in his early interviews after they got together, he very rarely mentioned Angie and the kids. He was the most candid in his Oprah interview, and even then, not very much. Look at how he was with that fan and the tattoo question.
She is also going on about his comments about the paps, without taking into account he was talking about the way the papas are with his children. He has ALWAYS complained about that, saying he wished they would give them some space. According to her, he should not be seen about with his kids at all, if he is so upset with the paps. No matter that he said the paps try to jump his walls. Brad has never complained about the paps in regard to him and Angie. Not because he did a photoshoot for W, does this mean they should be denied privacy. What the h*ll does one have to do with the other. It’s a dark day when the paps are given carte blanche to do whatever the hell they want.
No wonder Brad doesn’t want to do interviews. Ans as for Angie, she says practically the same thing over and over again.

But given that his stance came after the spread and Oprah, it’s entirely possible that he reflected on his actions and chose to keep his mouth closed about his kids and their routine. A simple truth, but one that I think most of us do our best to keep at bay most of the time. We struggle to achieve various goals and joys in our lives, and when they finally arrive, when we finally accomplish them, we want them to endure. We want to maintain our state of bliss as long as we can. But in the back of our minds, we always know that there is no such thing as permanence. There is no such thing, for people, as forever. We are impermanent by design. We are always racing the clock. We can fight as much as we want, but the truth remains: nothing lasts.
THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON is one of the most piercing, beautiful, eccentric studio movies in recent memory, an exquisitely crafted film about memory, love, opportunity, and the passage of time. Technical wizardry and emotional delicacy combine to create an experience that is, for lack of a better word, magic. Set during the landfall of Hurricane Katrina, BUTTON tells an epic-scale story that is actually an intimate emotional journey, unusual and unlike any other film I can name.
And, yes, that includes FORREST GUMP. Thanks to the involvement of Oscar-winning screenwriter Eric Roth, you will hear a lot of comparisons to GUMP, but don’t believe it. This is the anti-GUMP, and therein likes the darkness that I think director David Fincher must have found so appealing. Whatever the attraction was, this director, so renowned for his cold, clinical eye and his detached intellectual cool, has responded to this material in the only way he could: with the whole of his previously only-rumored heart.
It’s a very simple concept, and if you’ve ever read the short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, there’s not a lot to it. It’s very simply a doodle about a baby born as an old man who lives his whole life in reverse. There’s a marriage in there, but it’s not really played as a love story, and there’s no real weight to anything that happens in the story. It’s more like Fitzgerald was intrigued and wanted to play with the idea a bit.
In the film, things are different from the very start. Whereas Fitzgerald imagined Benjamin being born as an actual 80 year old man, full-sized and able to speak right away, the film takes a stranger approach. Benjamin is a baby, but his body shows all the wear and tear of advanced age, including arthritis, cataracts, and a completely lack of elasticity to the skin. He’s got a disturbing little-old-man face, but he’s very much a baby in every other way. Robin Swicord, the original screenwriter on the film, and Eric Roth have both worked hard to find a way to ground this fantastic idea and make it play as something approaching a reality we recognize. As a result, in the film, Benjamin’s external age and his internal age are completely at odds, while in the short story, they were in synch. The moment Benjamin’s father Thomas (Jason Flemyng) sees the baby, he snaps. After all, his wife is laying in bed, hemorrhaging and sure to die, and the result is this twisted, diseased-looking thing. He grabs the baby and runs out into the streets, where all of New Orleans is celebrating the end of World War I. He’s looking for a place to dump this creature, and at the last minute, he relents. He shoves a few grubby dollars into the blanket and leaves it on the back steps of an old age home, where Queenie (Taraji P. Henson) finds the baby. She decides she’s going to raise him as her own, figuring that due to all the problems with his health, that won’t be a very long process. And with this one act of cruelty and an equal act of kindness, Benjamin Button finds his place in the world and starts his very strange journey.
The screenplay also invents a framing device featuring Daisy (Cate Blanchett) and her daughter Caroline (Julia Ormond). This is the material that takes place present-day, as the Gulf Coast prepares for the impact of Katrina. I’ve already read some people freaking out about this choice, but it seems to me to be a powerful thematic comment on a location that obviously affected everyone who shot this film there. If you know New Orleans at all and have any affinity for it, the current iteration of the city has to be a bit of a heartbreak for you. I visited New Orleans many times as a younger, wilder man, and a part of me never wants to go back now. I’m afraid to see what the hurricane did to it. But that’s exactly why it makes sense to me as a choice for the framing story. Nothing lasts, not even cities that seem to be part of the fabric of our country.

Daisy’s dying, and it’s a matter of hours, most likely. There’s a sense that she and Caroline have been estranged, but she’s there now. And thanks to a collection of letters and photos and postcards and other items and a diary that her mother has, Caroline pieces together a story that completely changes her perception of her mother and, indeed, of herself. This entire section of the film is played between Blanchett in extreme old-age makeup by Greg Cannom that is on par with the best of **** Smith’s old age work and Ormond, who has been largely absent from film lately. Blanchett is fading away the entire time, dying incrementally, her morphine dosage slowly being turned up. And she says all she wants is to hear her daughter’s voice. All this unspoken stuff is playing out between them, things unsaid and unresolved, and Ormond starts reading this story. But it’s not just the sound of her voice Blanchett’s after. There’s something she’s telling Ormond as well… her own story. As a kid, you know your parent as your parent, but it’s fairly rare that we really get to learn who they are as people. I think it’s one of the biggest barriers you can get over in your relationship, the idea that these people existed before you were around, that they had whole lives that didn’t involve you. It’s unfathomable for a kid, and that process can sometimes bring you closer, and sometimes it can drive you apart. I think it’s something worth doing though, and watching Ormond react as she’s hit with all of these new ideas about who her mother was is quite moving.
In fact, in that way, I think BUTTON is more akin to BIG FISH than it is to FORREST GUMP. I don’t really like either of those films, though, so I’m surprised this one hit me as dead-center as it did. This is nowhere near as “magical realism” as either of those movies. You’re asked to accept one gigantic conceit, the idea of Benjamin aging backwards, and then everything else is just played as reality. There’s nothing “high concept” about the sequences in the film, and it’s almost unfair to call any of them set pieces in any traditional blockbuster sense. Benjamin’s life is a lot of things over the years, goes through a lot of stages. Each of those encounters changes or shapes him, and none of them explode as high drama or melodrama. Instead, things have these slow-motion effects, detonations that aren’t felt immediately.
I just realised that Tom Cruise does not support anything excepy Scientology. No other foundation. Anybody knows.

The great Tilda Swinton shows up for a protracted dalliance in a hotel in Russia, when she crosses paths with a freshly-wounded Benjamin, just back from the romantic front and smarting from his failure to connect. Elizabeth is older, in her 40s, and Benjamin looks like a man even older than her. But he’s a young man in terms of experience, and he’s never really courted a woman. What takes place between them is played with remarkable subtlety, and when it ends, it simply ends. They don’t hammer home any larger significance… it’s just part of who he is during his life. The defining relationship for Benjamin in the film is Daisy, of course. This is a love story, a doomed one, but then again… aren’t they all? Fincher’s interested in the ticking clock built into even the first kiss, the first date, the first glance across a room. You always know, no matter what, that there’s an end date coming. You may have five hours together, five years, fifty years, but again… nothing lasts. When Daisy and Benjamin meet the first time, they’re both children, emotionally speaking, and Daisy recognizes something in him, some kindred spirit. They bond, but he looks like a little old man and she’s just a little girl, so there’s no chance for them. The next time they meet, in one of the film’s most quietly painful sequences, he looks to be in his 50s, and he’s grown up quickly because of that sense of otherness that plagues him. She’s not quite 20 at this point, beautiful and ripe and young, and completely immature. She’s willing to be with him, but maturity-wise, they’re not ready to connect, and the encounter ends badly. It’s only later, when the two of them reach something like the same age, after both of them have felt loss and sorrow and hurt, that they’re able to approach each other as equals, as adults, with open eyes and open hearts. One of the things I love about the film is how there is no human villain, no bad guy introduced to steal Daisy’s affections or to create some artificial tension in their relationship. Time is enough of a villain, hungry, unrelenting. And when they have a child and Benjamin realizes that he’s not going to be able to be a real parent, time finally wins. He leaves again, setting off on the last leg of his journey alone. I’ve read some criticism that Benjamin is a passive lead character, but I’m not buying it. He’s not a big loud aggressive movie lead the way we’re used to, but neither is he just a feather on the wind like GUMP. Benjamin deals with what life brings him, and he lives with those choices, no matter how hard it is.
The film has quite a bit to say about the way fate brings us together or tears us apart, and it’s not about stupid movie coincidence. I’ve thought about the way entire sections of our lives are built off of one decision, one moment where things fell together a particular way, and how any number of things could have prevented that from happening. I’ve been working with my writing partner now for 22 years, and the series of choices that put the two of us in one room for the very first time required his parents and my parents and our teachers and various employers of our parents to all do certain things a certain way, or we never would have met. If that had been the case, who knows where I’d be today, or what I’d be doing? Same thing with my wife… I met her at a party. What if I’d skipped out on it, like I did with so many other parties? What if I’d left before she arrived? What if I’d never met the person who invited me to the party? When I look at my two sons, I can’t imagine my life any other way than this, but it very easily could have gone a different direction based on a decision I made one night eight years ago. We are all victims of circumstance, and our lives are defined by the way we make choices based on those winds of fate. As I was watching the film, and it rolls into that last hour or so, the weight of it all and the beauty with which it’s presented just hit me, an accumulated emotional response, and I spent pretty much the entire last hour struggling with silent tears. There was no one single sledgehammer moment. Instead, it was the whole thing, the ideas it raises, the way it forced me to reflect on my own life. I’ve got no idea what anyone else will feel when watching this film, but I suspect each viewer will walk away with a very personal reaction, based on who they are, where they are in their lives, and what they’ve already experienced. Many films are designed to give every viewer approximately the same experience, but BENJAMIN BUTTON seems to be the opposite, a movie that was built with plenty of room for viewers to find their own way to their own reactions, and that’s one of the hardest things to pull off, especially in a film this size. And a big part of why it all works is because this cast all seems to be tuned in to whatever crazy-ass radio station is playing in Fincher’s head alone, all of them in synch with what he’s trying to do where. There is real magic in this film, and only a wee little bit of it can be credited to computers and the incredible work of Digital Domain and the host of other houses who all contributed to the film.
I can’t say enough good things about Taraji P. Henson, who makes you believe that the boundless love that Queenie offers this disturbingly strange baby is enough to keep him alive. It’s a difficult role as written, and could easily have become a stereotype, but Henson brings that same warmth and sparkle to the role that she exhibited as Shug in HUSTLE & FLOW. I wish directors would bump her from supporting to starring roles, because she’s electric when she’s given the right material. Ormond’s work is subtle, but I think it’s some of the best work she’s done. She was brutally overhyped when she first showed up in film, and I think it ended up hurting her. She didn’t really get to hone her craft because there was so much pressure on her to carry films from day one. Here, she plays a smaller role than she used to play, and it benefits her. As I mentioned, Tilda Swinton comes in for what’s basically an extended cameo, and she offers up an indelible portrait of this woman, “plain as paper,” who proves to be such an important milestone in Benjamin’s development. I loved what Jason Flemyng did as Benjamin’s father, particularly in the later sequences in the film as he struggles to be a part of Benjamin’s life, no matter how late it is. Elias Koteas makes a brief but memorable appearance that sets a haunting tone for the film in an opening scene, and Mahershalalashbaz Ali does solid work as Tizzy, the life-long love interest of Queenie. Jared Harris shows up as Captain Mike, a tugboat captain who ends up taking Benjamin to war. His philosophy is a major piece of the puzzle for Benjamin, and Harris does lovely work in the role.
But the film rests on the shoulders of two actors above all others. Cate Blanchett has long since proven herself to be a versatile talent, but part of what she does so well is vanish into her characters. Here, she’s playing a role that doesn’t really offer much in the way of camouflage. Playing Daisy across the span of her whole life, Blanchett has to impart the stages in this girl’s evolution, and she does it with delicacy and real wisdom. Towards the end of the film, as Benjamin reaches childhood, her work just becomes devastating. She and Pitt have an amazing rapport, and his role, which is so technically demanding, could have easily swallowed him whole. But over the years, Pitt’s proven that he’s at his best when he’s being challenged, and he does the best work of his career here. Moving, human, and heartbreaking, he makes Benjamin Button into a real person, not just a novelty.
THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON is that rare film that manages to encompass the whole of the human experience in a mere two and a half hours, and I feel like I saw it at the right moment in my life. It’s something I’ll return to any number of times in the future, and it’s rich and strange and wonderful enough that I expect I’ll find something fresh in it every time. My profound thanks to every person involved in making this magic live and breathe, and I hope all of you reading this embrace the film the same way when it opens on Christmas day. Maybe one of the reasons the film worked on me so deeply is because I’m dealing with the notion of impermanence right now in a very personal way. I’ve been here at Ain’t It Cool News for 12 years now, and I consider Harry to be one of my best friends on the planet. Quint’s like a brother to me. Mr. Beaks started as a talkbacker, and my correspondence with him led to a friendship that’s endured any number of professional and personal changes. John Robie was just another occasional spy when we first met during one of Harry’s trips to LA, and he’s one of my closest buddies now. The same is true of Dr. Hfhurrhurr, who is the godfather to my first son. Without AICN, I can’t imagine the last decade of my life. And yet… nothing lasts. And so this month starts a transition that’s going to take me from AICN to my new online home, HitFix.com, a process that’s going to take the next six weeks or so. I’ve met so many great people and had so many remarkable experiences here that I guess a part of me thought that AICN would always just be part of me. It’s a little bit terrifying, and while I’m looking forward to working with a great group of people, part of me feels like I’m leaving behind one of the most significant things I’ve ever done.
Nothing lasts, and as we are blown by the winds of change, we can either bend or break. Here’s hoping I’m strong enough to bend.

Benjamin’ Beauty: A Quick Commentary on ‘Benjamin Button’
Feeling an urge to at least say something
I found the above image over at the New York Times and since I am still not entirely ready to write a full review of the film and it hadn’t been released yet I figured I would add it to this short article commentary since I liked it so much.
After seeing The Curious Case of Benjamin Button last night my first instinct was to run home and write all about it. A few notes trickled into a couple of pieces, but for the most part I felt I would have to see it again before reviewing it. Then, as I was working, a TV spot for the film came on behind me. I turned to watch and just like the trailer for The Wrestler so much of what I felt while watching the film started to come back to me and I realized the reason I couldn’t put my finger on what I liked so much - I actually liked damn near all of it. I liked the little moments as much as the bigger ones and I had a lump in my throat for just about 75% of the film and can tell you right now the more emotional you are the more likely you will come out of this film devastated and balling your eyes out.
I connected to the story as soon as the born-old Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt) was able to begin speaking and as he got older I understood everything he was dealing with. Many have called the film cold, have said it keeps its emotions at an arms length and “maintains a slightly remote feel.” I couldn’t disagree with these opinions more.
The film has a peaceful flow - a delicate and realistic approach to it all. The emotional core counts on the audience’s ability to understand Benjamin is no different than you or I. His only difference is that the physical Benjamin is growing in reverse, but the mental and emotional Benjamin is growing up as any child would. Without the physical difference this is nothing more than the story about a man and his ability (and the world’s ability) to deal with that one difference, something that ultimately changes the course of his life even though it so closely mirrors the normal life of so many people.
One person called the film cliche. I read another calling it “so phony and cloying and gimmicky that its success will some day be seen by some as a tragedy.” Sorry, can’t agree here either. Benjamin Button ends up living a full, and relatively normal life. It’s reality with a twist. Benjamin’s life story is no more cliche than anyone’s life is cliche, and it actually isn’t all that remarkable. This film is one man’s life story unfolding in the midst of a unique set of circumstances and it is the nature of its telling and the effect it has on those involved that makes it what it is.
Some have said it felt long and at 166 minutes it is long. However, once the credits began to roll I wouldn’t have been surprised if you told me only 90 minutes had passed. The film is engrossing and the sooner you realize Benjamin Button is no different than anyone else, outside of his physical appearance, you will be able to wrap yourself up in his story as fate guides the way.
As for the acting, folks are right to congratulate Cate Blanchett and Taraji P. Henson. I am not sure this is Blanchett’s crowning achievement as others have said (I think Elizabeth is phenomenal on top of so many of her other performances), but she carries her portion of the load quite well. Henson is just as good as she always is and I definitely see a nomination in both of their futures. I, however, am not happy to see so many write off Pitt saying his performance involves too much CGI and is too limited. Pitt is phenomenal in this film as he creates a character you wouldn’t mind spending some time with. But more on that in a real review along with talk of the excellent script, direction and just about every other aspect of this picture.
I will write a real review for the movie some time down the line, but I felt it was best to tackle some of the criticisms and early comments on the film in a separate piece since they really don’t belong in a review. I will have the chance to see the film again (and I will see it again) I am just not sure if I will wait to review it before or after that time.

Honey that was really a nice video. Loved the music and the pictures.
I know the trolls and haters know this, but will never fess up to it. But Brad and Angie mention their children because the interviewers are always asking them about their children and if they are going to adopt or have more.
Just like they are forever asking if they are going to get married. And Brad was asked to take pictures of Angie for her Changeling article in W. He was asked to do so. If you notice whenever they are asked they volunteer as little information as possible. And it is the most innocuous information they can give, which is usually about their children.
Mygawd look what Brad saying all Angie could cook was cereal. That spread around the internet like funk in a closet. That was the most banal of comments but some tried to make it some type of validation that Brad was unhappy with Angie. Sure. Peace

It’s a writer’s dream to unearth a great true story that had vanished into obscurity. This is one.
It’s about Christine Collins, whose invincible spirit brought down a corrupt police department and ushered in a new era of American law.
Writer Joe Straczynski stumbled upon it in the Los Angeles city archives and brought it to the attention of producers Brian Grazer and Ron Howard.
Clint Eastwood agreed to direct, and the result is another great film from a man who has rediscovered top form in the winter of his career.
Eastwood has called this a film about “truth stranger than fiction’’.
It certainly is, and Jolie’s magnificent presence and Eastwood’s sweeping and assured direction makes this a terrific thriller.
The casting is distinctive, the drama beautifully constructed, and The Changeling is a thorough success and great entertainment.
It is obvious that something suddenly has changed with Brad. He did W and obviously he is very proud of it. And he did Oprah and he was the happiest dad , talking about his kids. But in 2 or 3 weeks , Suddenly he sounds aggressive about talking about his private stuff. He was obviously annoyed by Ann’s questions about his family. Yes he answered those question and grinned while he was talking about his family , But he obviously didn’t want to talk about that there.
Could be the whole X’s drama or the other one about him talking about his kids in Oprah !
He obviously looks so annoyed in most of his pics which have been taking recently.
And there is this whole dark shadows around them recently.
We certainly don’t know what is going on . We are not in this business.
But just by looking at Lainey’s posts recently , you can tell something is up.
Lainey has been attacking Jolie-Pitts for a while now. She acts like they are no longer a couple. She keeps bringing the topic about PittP*rn’s lacking in their RCs . She attacks Angie for everything. Dress , Make up and almost everything. She attacks Brad for his interviews. Wouldn’t be surprised , if i saw her talking and bringing Break Up rumors on her blog when it comes to JPs. Of course Lainey is one very small gossip blog , But it can be a big alert to all of us.
On another not , I just wish Brad and Angie would go out alittle more together as a couple, Just like last year. I wish they would go out for date night and shopping like last year in NO. I wish we would get some picture of Angie and Brad together out other than in RC.
Don’t get me wrong , nothing wrong with staying at home with their kids . But i believe right now Brad and Angie look alittle unconnected to each other. Must be the twins. They have 6 kids. They obviously don’t get as much time together as before. Things will change, hopefully , after twins will be alittle bigger. Peace to all.

It is also a love letter to humanity.
At the surface, Benjamin Button (played by Pitt) is a story about a man growing younger (physically) while living in a freak time warp. He was born as an elderly ugly baby with all of the frailties associated with the aged crippling disabilities He falls in love with normalcy and with a normal, yet lovely childhood friend (played by Cate Blanchett) who at first looks many years younger than his physical age. However, as days pass, the younger he becomes physically is matched by her growing old, gracefully. .
Ultimately, externally, he becomes a young boy, then a baby once again, suffers from dementia as internal age creeps into his young body resulting in his demise.
Strangely, this “love letter: personifies New Orleans where it was filmed and produced. The story is told in reverse as counter-clockwise Katrina approaches taking portraits of lives backwards.
Curious Case is about the lack of permanency in New Orleans and in general. Life is cyclical. Old becomes young while young becomes old. People are born, live, then move on. Meanwhile the vacuum of loss occurs, time creeps hastily and sometimes in reverse.
In Curious Case, Katrina and events wash away lives, memories, and identities. Yet, the storm and reality gives birth to the future and with hope,
So goes Curious Case. Pitt and Angelina Jolie have a love affair with a city that is living in a time warp of its own. New Orleans was destroyed by fate as were the many personalities in Curious Case, yet a new curious future sprouts. Curious represents an ever-changing life where young and old converge, as do the past and future, renewing existence after fate destroyed what was in its way.
Curious and Brad Pitt have given New Orleans a gift. The City survives and will be remembered in part by this most-moving movie. The film and the Pitt glow will help unwind a city that in many ways was and is still going backwards. Hopefully art, determination and talent and the Pitt-Jolie presence will help it move forward where it can take its rightful and graceful place in history.

Brad Pitt has urged the U.S. government to pass a law protecting celebrities and their families against the paparazzi because he’s tired of photographers sneaking around to photograph his six kids.
The actor and partner Angelina Jolie are tailed by celebrity photographers at home and on the red carpet but Pitt insists their antics have gone too far.
In an interview on The Today Show, he says, “Let me be very blunt: I hate them. I hate these people. I don’t understand why they do that for a living.”
“We’ve got to make a distinction between these people who photograph celebrities at events and people who climb over your walls or wear camouflage and call out your kids names as you’re trying to take them to school to see if they’ll look that way.”

Personally, I refuse to allow L’s ill-conceived rant get me down. If she can’t tell the difference between getting snapped while walking the streets versus some trespassing on private property or someone snapping pics of you in a changing room or bathroom stall, then she’s the dip$h*t.
I glad that Brad put it out there that he doesn’t want to go into detail about his family. We all witnessed how some opted to use his disclosures on Oprah as ammo against how the JPs are raising their children. As long as he let his children and Angelina know how he feels about them, then who gives a fcuk if haters, bloggers and fans are disappointed. Mind you, it really illustrates how Angelina is yang to his ying.
And plus, we did get a little foreshadowing from Angelina that Brad doesn’t like too much getting out about how he feels about things on her recent Today episode.

New Orleans’ favorite celebrity benefactors, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were blowing up an Elmwood red carpet Monday night in a cascade of camera flashes.
It was the local premiere of his new film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and the dynamic duo, shining brighter than Venus and Jupiter hovering in the night sky, were able to glamorize even a suburban strip mall setting.

We give him credit for the mustache. Reportedly, he grew the sandy-brown whiskers for his role in Quentin Tarantino’s film “Inglorious ********,” set to hit theaters in May.
But the plaid on plaid? It was a dizzing blend of 1990s grunge and 1950s tablecloth.
This is the season for checks, but not so much balances. Men’s magazines have been mixing up Buffalo plaid with hunting tartan and lumberjack checks.

I find it oxymoronic of Pitt to give interviews complaining about giving interviews. If he feels so strongly about being misquoted and misunderstood then he should write a column or post to his own website and quit giving interviews.

I’m not willing to dismiss L’s reports of Pitt P**n; however, L has a tendency to interject her own idiosyncancies into what the JPs can and should do. For example, her suggestion that the JPs would adopt a child prior to the Oscars telecasts back in ‘07, nevermind that neither of them had a movie in contention. L painted the baby bump debut at the Spirit Awards as the ultimate FU to the Oscars, nevermind the fact that we saw the bump at the SAGs and that there were twins in there. She thought that the JPs hanging out with Clint Eastwood was their way of getting Angelina an Oscar nod.
L also have this thing about putting on the pose that she’s a film expert. Actually, she adds the elitist pose as an homage to the Brits, although the Oscars is an American institution. She reported the lukewarm reception BAR received at Venice and yet, she backpedalled when it was clear that audience in this hemisphere thought the movie was funny as h*ll.
And poor thing, he would only marry her if the kids want not if SHE wants. Whereas with Jen, he did it right away. Some women just have that effect on men

Angie does not need to cook. Does she have to do everything? She goes to Iraq and Afghanistan, has 6 children, a husband, a huge career, I am kinda glad she doesn’t cook too. I honestly don’t think anyone here is privy to Jolie’s contracts or how her payments are structured. When she receives compensation is anyone’s guess. Since a number of her movies were released this year & began to make money this year she may very well have received compensation for 2008.

“They had a great time together but they are just in different places in their lives right now,” says a source of Aniston, 39, and Mayer, 30, who kicked off their courtship in April.
A friend of Mayer adds that a reconciliation isn’t necessarily out of the question: “He never ends things with a clean slate. He likes to dwell on these relationships and sort everything out before saying goodbye for good.”

LONDON — Universal Pictures International Entertainment and Warner Home Video have extended their DVD distribution deal with Universal Pictures Russia for another three years.

Under the deal, UPR will distribute all Warners and New Line DVD product in the territory through 2011, including such titles as “The Dark Knight,” “Yes Man,” “RocknRolla,” “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” and “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”
UPR also will distribute Warners films in the high-definition format, with 19 Blu-ray releases scheduled during the next two months alone, the parties said. Blu-ray titles include “10,000 BC,” “Get Smart” and the previous movies in the “Harry Potter” franchise.”
UPR first signed a distribution agreement with Warner Home Video in 2005.

I honestly don’t think anyone on here hates Aniston herself that much. There’s just not enough there to hate. She’s dull, boring, shallow, silly, narcissistic and downright pathetic — but there’s no real reason for anyone to hate her. At least I don’t.
Her fans, however, are something else again, and I think this is where most of the anger and hate comes in. But when Aniston’s fans started attacking her children, that’s where I got off the bus. Calling her adopted sons ugly mud-children, calling a little girl the N-word and comparing her to primates, hoping she would get AIDs and die… I mean, they posted this sh*t on here every single night. What kind of freak of nature spews hate all over unborn children and hopes they are born dead or deformed? And all this because Brad left Aniston. You figure it out. Because I’m damned if I can.
So a lot of what you term anger and hate towards Aniston is payback, not so much towards Aniston as towards her fans who were posting all that sh*t. And many people said, fairly or unfairly, that all those nasty posts reflected on Aniston. Because what kind of celebrity attracts creeps like that?

You know when your ignorance of the subject is this overwhelming then you need to just recuse yourself from the discussion.
The Make It Right Project is helping families to rebuild their homes. THEIR homes. It is not building a housing development. If it were, that could have been achieved a long time ago. These houses will be built when the individuals and the individual families are ready for them to be rebuilt. Each participant has to complete paperwork for various stages - insurance claims for their destroyed homes, new financing, applications for financial assistance and grants for any financing gap, etc. etc. Additionally the individuals have to make numerous decisions about the building process. And they will do all that according to their own time schedule - not that of some freaked out poster on a gossip site.
This is not rocket science. It just takes a little reading and a bit more ability to grasp the realities of rebuilding homes and returning to live in a disaster area. Some families may even be opting to wait to rebuild for various reasons - they may be elsewhere and have to consider the educaitonal needs of children, etc.
This project has received and continues to receive praise and support from people and institutions that DO understand the complexities of this project. MIR is not a hand out. It is an “assist.”
I am sure it is futile but may I suggest you use that device upon which you are typing to learn something before you mindlessly post drivel.

I want to tell you they are more than happy Brad and those who donated cared enough to want to help them. Because they knew no one else was going to. As a matter of fact the city, state, and feds don’t want the people to even come back. This is an open secret.
Galveston, Texas which was damaged during the last hurricane, can’t remember which one. But it was this year. I just read that they are rebuiulding without any problems. My friend’s aunt lives there and her house is practically rebuilt. Just about every house was destroyed there. And they didn’t have the flooding NO had. And they are not having the problems rebuilding either.
You don’t have to like him or Angie. But at least know your facts. Oh and the ground was toxic and they had to wait for it to pass inspection. There were delays. But no feet dragging on the part of Brad and his team. Peace

There was nothing Independent Spiritish about Changeling. Nor did it ever pretend to be. It is a bg studio picture. I am sure that Jolie got her full asking price. I believe its budget is in the $55 million range.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Its subject matter unfortunately fascinates me. I wanted to see it again but I’d rather wait for the DVD - though I know it hasn’t opened in all foreign markets yet.
There is a new book out on Northcott by an author who has been researching the subject for ten years. The complete story is even more gruesome than the movie. The house and buildings on the Northcott ranch still stand today as they did in 1928. Scary.

he has done some incredible work in helping those victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Still it´s kind of shame that only eight houses has so far been built. It´s been three years since that hurricane and very little has been done. But maybe now something will be done and quickly. Brad is a good example of it how well he has used his celebrity status in a good way. He truly wants to help those in need. It isn´t a publicity stunt. He REALLY wants to help those people. BTW. When Ann Curry started to ask about his own family he at first felt a little akward to talk about them but when he started to talk about his children his eyes just lit up. He is so proud of every one of them. No matter are they adopted or biological. He obviously is very proud of them all. Like he said:”One is from Vietnam. One is from Cambodia. One is from Ethiopia.” And like he said they sure make an interesting mix. They all give so much love to their parents and vice versa. It´s easy to see he couldn´t imagine his life without those six and Angie anymore. He has found true happiness with his family.

1) I was never in love with Jen. She was a rebound hook-up our agents arranged, because I had been heartbroken and wanted never again to allow anyone close enough to hurt me. She was a pal. I regret her as much as I regret getting bit by a racoon one time on my grandpa’s farm in Okie and had to get 65 rabie shots.
2)I had no purpose in life, no shared goals, no commonality, no fun and no passion with Jen Aniston - our life was buying big empty mansions renovating them over 3 year periods never finishing, socializing with the Botox arquettes, drinking, smoking, tanning, getting high and getting highlights and me being forced to network for her tv as.s at many a dinner party so she could get movie work. In our spare time, she obsessed over magazines and tabloids and would flood the house with her lackeys and friends to gossip. She was extremely insecure about her ugly face which is why she’s under the knife so often now.
3)It was a mistake, I never loved her - I fell in love with my one true love Angelina — hey, life is short..wear a helmet, and find yourself an amazing woman to spend the rest of your life with like I did.

jenhag. Go and read Brad’s past interviews. His life with X was boring. X life has not change. Mexico, tanning, exercise, dinner with the Cox and work. X has not change she has low self esteem. She still is self absorbed. Don’t believe the image her PR guy created. The girl brought a 10000 sq ft home but yet spends most of her nights a hotels. She is lonely. JM only looks alive when he is away for X because he is bored with her. The girl PR team races to correct anything negative about her because he knows she will whine about it.
Brad has a real life. Brad is achieving real things. Not PR events like X. BTW Brad’s life have never been quiet or anonymous since the day he walked onto the set of Thelma and Louise.
“tears you shed for me everyday”? Perfect girl jen, those are tears of joy he was finally able to get rid of her and be with the woman of his dreams. Tears also of relief that he no longer has that vapid existence.
As usual Angie do know how to dress up simply yet elegantly. She seems to follow the adage “les
