Brad Pitt sat down for another interview with Today Show’s Ann Curry to talk about his Make It Right Foundation project in New Orleans. He also talked a bit about his family:
On his six children: “I’m really proud of this family. I look at my sons and daughters. … I feel rich being around them. Each one offers so much to the mix.”
On why he doesn’t talk much about his family in interviews: “I just walk away feeling bad about it when I do. It seems to get cheapened somehow as it goes through the filter and the airwaves. I just want to keep it close to the chest.”
On if he’d marry Angelina Jolie: “If we feel it’s important to our kids, we would.”

Madison I’ll answer some of the questions for you. I’m sure Jill will respond to your questions too. It is people like you that infuriates me because you pretend not to see the abuse from Jen’s fans but since you are ignorant to some of them I’ll say this, go to us magazine, perezhilton and E sites to mention but a few and you will see the scale of insults and abuse from your idol’s fans orchestrated by your idol’s lies and various conflicting comments made by her over the years to various magazines and tabloids.
The abuse is not just directed at Brad and Angie but her fans wishing death to JP’s children, name calling of the adopted children. You cannot pretend you have not seen them. You just chose to ignore them like many of her fans do. What pisses me off is you having the
audacity to question the Jolie-Pitt fans for responding and retaliating. You want us to keep quiet and let these despicable insects abuse this family endlessly. What have this family done to these people, afterall, Jen herself said her divorce was amicable and there was no cheating and that she still admires Brad. If there was no cheating why are these idiots hating Angie. Get this straight as long as they come here ranting and raving about marriage that ended 4yrs ago and throwing insults at Angie and Brad they will get everything coming to them and their fugly idol. The war will continue as long as they want it and they will never win. Angie and Brad have very loyal fans worldwide who will fight for them and support them and maniston will always loose and people like you will be put in their place with their fake concern and patronising bullshit.

When “Quantum of Solace” director Marc Forster was chosen to helm the adaptation of Max Brooks’ “World War Z” zombie-stravaganza, we noted that it was a surprising pairing — but with noted television, movie and comics author J. Michael Straczynski already penning the screenplay and Brad Pitt’s Plan B producing, the project was certainly developing some heat. Now, with “Solace” in its fifth impressive week at the box office, MTV News spoke to Straczynski about the addition of Forster to the already buzzworthy project and how he plans to adapt Brooks’ novel.
“We talk about it as a thriller, the closest comparison being ‘The Bourne Identity,’” explained Straczynski, who’s also penning a “Forbidden Planet” revisiting. “Most zombie movies to this point have been small, focusing on a few people in a house. And this has got real scare. You’re in India with hundreds of boats trying to get out of there with a tidal wave of zombies. The scale of what we’re doing here is phenomenal.”
Straczynski told us the first draft of the screenplay was completed in the Spring, and the “World War Z” team had been waiting for a director for several months before Forster was attached.
“Now that Marc is here, I’m working with his notes to make one final pass on the script,” said Straczynski. “Our hope is to get it moving into production by the first of the year.”

There’s not too much to add to this Architectural Digest promo for its new issue featuring New Orleans advocate Brad Pitt on the cover.
So I’ll just let the mag’s PR speak for itself.
But first, I just want to say thanks to Pitt for taking on this challenge with his Make It Right Foundation and keeping this issue in the spotlight. We need to remember that the Katrina victims’ lives and homes are still being rebuilt and that they still need help.
Here’s the whole enchilada:
Jan_09_cover01 Brad Pitt fell in love with New Orleans in the early 1990’s while filming Interview with the Vampire. “New Orleans has its own mind … its own thing. It has a real spirit. It’s the most authentic of all American cities.”
In its January ’09 issue, Architectural Digest catches up with Pitt when he returns to welcome Katrina victim Gloria Guy back to her new home built by the actor’s Make It Right Foundation.
A year after the New Orleans storm, Pitt was horrified at the lack of progress in repairing the damage it wreaked, especially in the devastated African-American populated Lower Ninth Ward. “I couldn’t believe nothing was going on. I recalled the pictures of people on roofs, begging for help and I couldn’t believe that this was our America.”
Determined to put his dual passions for architecture and environmentally-sound development to work, he and several partners started the Make It Right Foundation, whose aim is to build 150 homes for residents of the lower Ninth Ward -– one of the hardest hit during the ’05 hurricane. He invited architects from around the globe to New Orleans to submit sustainable -– and affordable housing solutions.
If Angie had made the statement that Brad made on the Today show about the kids driving him crazy and that raising six kids is hard it would be on every news media today. Also when he said we have a kid born in namibia indirectly speaking of Shi there would have been some shite. Sorry but I just had to say it.

King: Now, it’s your face in a shriveled up old man who’s also 2 years old.
Pitt: Yes.
King: How did they do that?
Pitt: Well, this is — again, this is part of the genius of David Fincher. He loves to take whatever the latest technology is out there.
In this case, it was a technology we used to blow up the world and, you know, get eaten by monsters, and subvert it and pervert to do just that, to put my face through a filter, and then put it on another actor’s body as he’s walking through the scene.
And that’s the simple version of it all. It’s quite complicated.
And again, you know, we started filming two years ago, and he just is putting the final touches. He’s just finishing all the C.G. on it.
King: Was the actor a child or a small, little guy?
Pitt: No. These were — it was actually three different actors for the first, you know, 20 or 30 minutes of the film, to follow Benjamin at different stages of growth.
King: Wow. I applaud you and everyone associated with it. It’s a great, great movie.

Also, sorry haters..but Brad is very clearly talking about his children, when he says ‘family’ with regards to that ‘keeping it close to the chest’ business he told Ann Curry (much like the cute little kid and baby stories he told on Oprah then he went on to say ‘other people might find obnoxious.‘ I think that’s why he had Oprah scrap the Pax peeing on the timeout chair…he knew people would get it twisted..and that Pax might hear about it in school. that the tabs could pick it up and claim he had a peeing problem (ala John Gayer hahahah)…Pax is a little man now..it’s clear from the nola playground pics, he doesn’t take any sh*t. lol) If the idiot hater trolls who desperately comb over every single sentence, word and puncuation mark of Brad & Angelina’s then dissect it within and inch of it’s life had even an OUNCE of comprehension skills, their dumb assses would have seen in the very NEXT question the man is talking about Angelina…this after his glowing words and tribute on Oprah. -whom she then proceeded to use for his A-list rolodex,
-whom she was ungrateful to (did not thank him onstage when she won a TV award, and later said to him, like he was a frat bro from Sigma Chi, “to my husband Brad, thanks for keeping me together, man”
-whom she dissed when she said “he is not the love of my life”,
-whom she then lied to about having the kids/family he desperately wanted (despite claiming to desperately want kids too), with her eye-rolling during a Diane Sawyer interview when he said he wanted “7 kids” and Fugliston responds with “he’ll be lucky if he gets 2!”
-whom she continues — to this day — to manipulate with her passive-aggressive media games,
-whom she has been disrepectful to by demonizing his partner Jolie with her snarky comments, and
-whom she tries to coattail to save her non-existent movie career.
What is SHE, if Brad had not married her?
She got the female lead in Jim Carrey’s/Ben Stiller’s movies because of Brad!
She got inclusion into Brad’s A-list MOVIE STAR firmament, which SHE, as a TV hack, would never have broken through on her own (have any of her TV co-stars done this… attend Cannes as a premier persona, attend the Oscars, hang out with Damon, Clooney et al, be part of a successful production company (which by the way, helped her launch her own production company?); she’s a moocher, that she is.
Without Brad, she would have faded into the sunset like her TV co-stars.
Their marriage was over before Jolie came along; had Jolie not been there, perhaps another woman would have snapped up Brad…
I am just glad it was Angelina.
Because she is the supreme female icon in the world.
So now, has Brad found someone who is an equal, if not bigger star, than he.
He is with someone who is truly A-list like him, who is genetically gorgeous and talented like him and who shares his love of family and philanthropy.
So I say to Fugliston (as do all J-P fans): Get the fcuk out of the J-Ps life! You’re out of your league, Fugly.
And I don’t know. Me, man, it makes me — this film just makes me want to hug my kids and call my folks.

I heard last night on Keith Olberman that Rupert Murdoch was interested in purchasing the NYT. Keith was interviewing someone who had written a book on RM and said that it will probably happen. There was a piece on the Huffington Report a couple of days ago. I didn’t read it though, in a hurry, blah, blah, blah.
