Brad Pitt: I’m Really Proud of My Family

Brad Pitt sat down for another interview with Today Show’s Ann Curry to talk about his Make It Right Foundation project in New Orleans. He also talked a bit about his family:

On his six children: “I’m really proud of this family. I look at my sons and daughters. … I feel rich being around them. Each one offers so much to the mix.”

On why he doesn’t talk much about his family in interviews: “I just walk away feeling bad about it when I do. It seems to get cheapened somehow as it goes through the filter and the airwaves. I just want to keep it close to the chest.”

On if he’d marry Angelina Jolie: “If we feel it’s important to our kids, we would.”

Be sure to watch Brad on Thursday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show. It’s his first time ever on the show!

Oscar Roundtable: The directors

By Elizabeth Guider and Stephen Galloway.

Dec 2, 2008, 08:29 PM ET
How important is the factual truth? How much risk can a filmmaker take? These were some of the questions addressed by Darren Aronofsky (Fox Searchlight’s “The Wrestler”), Danny Boyle (Fox Searchlight’s “Slumdog Millionaire”), Clint Eastwood (Universal’s “Changeling,” Warner Bros.’ “Gran Torino”), Ron Howard (Universal’s “Frost/Nixon”), Gus Van Sant (Focus Features’ “Milk”) and Edward Zwick (Paramount Vantage’s “Defiance”) in a recent discussion moderated by The Hollywood Reporter’s Elizabeth Guider and Stephen Galloway.

THR: How much did “Changeling” get shifted away from the actual facts?

Eastwood: We tried to approach it as a true story. (The writer) sent the script over to me, and the script, on the opposite pages, had all the newspaper clippings of 1928 and of the (Christine) Collins case. And it was new. We’d all heard of the Black Dahlia case, but this was a totally unknown story to me. I researched everything that there was on it.

My gwad, Angelina has stolen all the hotness out of Brad. He looks like hell…of course, having no balls will do that to a man. He brags about his six kids, but three of them are not related to him, as he has not adopted them.

Every time the jenhens talk about how classy Maniston is, I want to throw the People’s article about what Peeboy said right after their breakup at their face. He said he doesn’t like clean breaks. He likes to go back, to figure it out one more time before he breaks up with the women for good. Sounds like a jerk to me, with no consideration for the women involved whatsoever. It’s like they have no say in the relationship. And sure enough, he dumped Maniston, then took her back, just as predicted.

THR: Does the experience of directing change the way you act, and does the experience of acting change the way you direct?

Eastwood: It makes you much more sympathetic to actors (and) it makes you much more sympathetic to directors, too, because you’re putting together a large puzzle and the actor’s only involved with their little component, and that’s why I got out of it. I like the whole picture-making process; just doing one component wasn’t enough.

Based on the above sentence you should never be able to speak or write ever again. No wonder you insulted Brad looks. You are a shallow stupid person

Words fail me as to how dumb hens are. Facts can stare them in the face and then they will still whine and lie. Shame hens. Worry about your own lives and children. Papa Pitt is taking care of his.

Wassamatta honey… you hate to see Angie enjoying what Jen lost? Poor Jenny-poo had her chance and blew it. And keeps on blowing it. What the hell is the matter with that woman, she can’t keep a man to save her life.

I’m loving your misery. Brad isn’t going anywhere. He loves Angie and their children. Aniston doesn’t even exist for him any more.

The Oxygen Network Commerical has gotten a thousand hits from me today.

Thanks for all the links - it’s great to see both looking so relaxed and speaking so highly of New O. It is a magical city for a magical movie.

I always feel so proud of Angelina when I hear her speak. She is one of the most eloquent and intelligent actors and she just keeps reinforcing that every time I hear her speak.

And, how many women really still cook unless they either love it, or have to in order to save some bucks on eating out? I know that at the end of the day, the last thing I want to do is stand in front of a stove. Not every woman is born loving to cook. She has enough talents. We can leave the cooking to Top Chefs of the world……

When did Angie answered… ask Brad to the question of when they will be getting married.

Someone asked Angelina if Brad contribution to the Prop 8 had anything to do with Brad saying that they would get married when all people could. And Angelina laugh and said for them to ask Brad.

An ode to Peeboy
Peeboy, womb raider, spinster trading, love them and pee on them. Peeboy, the singer, minger with the d list, PR with the best.

You have got to be the stupidest b*tch on the planet. He has legally adopted Maddox, Zahara and Pax. It’s a matter of public record, idiot. Go look it up.

His adopted children are just as much “his” as Shiloh and the twins. He is legally their father, however much you hate the fact.

Thanks to the fans who posted articles and pictures links and videos

Thanks for the pictures. I hope the family have a safe trip to their next destination. I am so psyche and grateful to BP and AJ for shining a positive spotlight on the city of New Orleans. The Benjamin Button Movie is a love letter to the City and the MIR project represent the future.

alexanderina @ 12/02/2008 at 9:57 pm

Brad will be on Larry King tomorrow night

bdj @ 12/02/2008 at 9:46 pm

okay

Brad and Angie are such idiots. Brad is supposedly doing all this good in NOLA with the houses and using solar energy, which by the way isn’t just him but hundreds of people. But these idiots kill the environment jetting all over the world in private planes and flying in helicopters. I don’t care who they are, they could fly commercial more often. They are such fakes. This is too funny. And people buy into their fakeness, now that’s even funnier.
