Nicole Kidman Goes For The Gold

Geez, yea, complaints about that awful dress, and I’m not even talking about the shoes… I will never understand her sense of fashion, this outfit is plain horrible and unflattering…
Thank God for the gorgeousness that is Hugh Jackman :)

They were fabulous in the movie, AUSTRALIA. They are both good folks and are dedicated to their marriages and families. Good people plus they’re beautiful too! So glad Nicole is with Keith Urban and not with that awful Tom Cruise — Nicole looks so very happy and have you seen poor Katie Holmes lately? Sad, sad, sad.

Wow - this is a bit too gold for my taste. She looks like the “burning bush” from the Bible ~ she’s practically glowing. Besides … I’m not looking at her ~ I’m looking at gorgeous Keith beside her :)

The last two, three dresses she chose were awful. In contrast Hugh is dressing classier each day.

Nicole is dressing for the audience in Spain…her dress probably is perfect for that audience. She wouldn’t wear it to a New York premiere…same as when she is in Asia…she dresses to compliment the culture of the country.

Not so sure about Jackman’s suit, but they may be the photographs,

tacky dress as usual, and she looks like a fake plastic manequin. Don’t get how people could praise her “beauty”. She is superficial and has too much vanity to allow herself to age gracefully like the best actresses should do.

I saw Australia, yesterday and it was fabulous. I laughed and cried during the movie. The story line was great and I love how Baz incorporated the stolen generation into it. Everything just fell into place. Yes, it was to long, but the movie held my attention, so I really didn’t care. I fell in love with Brandon Walters, the aboriginal child. Those eyes of his are beautiful, innocent, and haunting to me.

I hope that Nicole gets an Oscar nomination and wins, and Hugh Jackman get an Oscar nomination as well and wins.

barf! her lips close up looks like lumps and bumps and her nose only krinckles at the mid section, which proves she’s overbotoxed. don’t these celebrities realize that these injections are malfiguring themselves. BIG huge article came out last month on FDA’s findings on injections causing lots of problems, which in some cases require surgery to remove the fillers. bad problem.

The movie was breathtaking. It was very well done from all aspects including acting, costumes, set design, cinematography, music, and screenplay. I absolutely loved it and would say it was the best movie I have seen in a long time.

Yes, Nicole is a beautiful woman but even in that dress she cannot outshine the gorgeousness that is Hugh. They were both wonderful in Australia but Hugh was so magnificient looking that I fear many people failed to notice he can act. The critics suck (except some smart ones like Rodger Ebert) the movie was great and the movie audiences for the most part seemed to get it. It was truly an epic with comedy, drama, romance, adventure and an uplifting message of love. I hope people will go to see it.

oh, stop insulting people of Madrid. Have you seen other people wearing such colors around Madrid. We love our bright colors like reds and maroons but this is a monstrous color. That bush fire comment someone made earlier was so on target.

As I mentioned before, I think they both look wonderful.

I am just wondering how much influence the studio or some other higher up has on what they are wearing at each promotional event. They are not appearing on their own behalf. It is their responsibility to the movie studio and to the movie itself. At the Paris Premiere Hugh and Nic are also color coordinated (black and white) even down to his tie with its design matching the geometric designs in her dress. At the Madrid Premiere his brown suit compliments her gold dress and they both blend beautifully into the backdrop of the movie collage. The same goes for NYC. I think they have been right on with their wardrobe choices each time to suit each event.
