Shia LaBeouf is an ‘Associate’ Hire

Shia LaBeouf will headlline the upcoming legal thriller The Associate, based on John Grisham’s book of the same name.

According to Variety, the 22-year-old actor will play a student who’s about to graduate from Yale Law School when he’s manipulated into accepting a job at a prestige law firm and given privileged information about a multibillion-dollar lawsuit.

The novel hasn’t even been released yet–it will be published in January by Random House.

Well, i remembered this skinny guy who used to drive a taxi for john constantine. now look at him. his not as ‘that’ skinny anymore! YAY! i wanna see another shia growing tall and sexier….

i think shia would absolutely shine in a movie of this calibur, to be working on a script based on a john grisham novel…a blessing…such has every single actor (or actress) tom cruise/ gene hackman notwitstanding…lol. debatable…i agree…that has worked on a film of his novels. i see him as a person who grows, no matter what script has been thrown at him and he fits the calibur of actor these types of films have spawned…i somehow dont think hes the teenybopper zac ephron-type fad that seems to go away after a time…he has consistanly done movies that have me thinking he grows within the role, the message is the same each time, and everything shia has done has told me that this perfectly fits HIS sense of acting-no matter the genre, whatever it takes, it just shows me that hes willing to challenge barriers and challenge his learning as an actor to accept these type of roles he can bring alive and grow along with…vehicle or not, the choice is made to make another movie and believe in the message of the film itself…in other words: HELL YA I CANT WAIT lol…bring it on cant wait for the book too

awesome thriller cause I just love eagle eye and watched it
three times!
