Trust me! Anne will get her first nomination for RGM. I am also rooting for the other cast members: Rosemarie Dewitt, Debra Winger, & the brilliant & legendary Bill Irwin. RGM is one of the best films of 2008.
It is very rare a movie has such a profound effect on me. I have never been into weddings , but Jonathan Demme is such a superbly gifted director that he made feel I was at the wedding rehersals & the wedding. Also, the wedding is so compelling - that I now want to receive invitations to weddings in the future.
The beauty of this film is the wonderful ensemble performances & the film’s raw intimacy. Please, don’t miss this extraordinary movie! Just see it once. You will not forget it.
