OlderKevin Federline: Just Call Me Daddy!
Kevin Federline wants to shed the negative image the public has of him: boy toy, gold-digger, wannabe rapper, partier. He tells People he answers to one name: Daddy.
The 30-year-old former backup dancer split with Britney Spears back in 2006 and is focusing on his four kids — Preston, 3, Jayden, 2, Kori, 6, and Kaleb, 4. (The last two are with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson, 32.) Here are some snippets from his interview with the mag:
A lot of people assumed you fought for custody of the kids because of money. My first question to [my lawyer] was, “Am I ever going to be able to see my children?” I told him that I would spend every last dime that I had to make sure that my children are okay. That’s all that mattered. I didn’t know how much power Britney had. That really scared me.
How did you react in January when Britney locked herself in the bathroom with Jayden and was later taken to the hospital on a gurney? That whole night is a blur. You want to talk about one of my lowest points of depression, that was probably one of them. I was very, very worried for her ’cause I care about her. That’s the mother of my children. Just because I’m not in love with her doesn’t mean that I don’t love her. I’m definitely rooting for her. There’s nothing more that I want than for her to be in the best health and doing what she loves to do.

He has had all this time to come out with “his story” and it is amazing he does it now. Wow, nice to see he is still trying to ride out his fame on the coat tails of his ex-wife. Not much has changed now has it.

i think kevin only did this people magazine interview is for money????. britney new hit song “womanzier” is about kevin!!!!!. if you all didn’t know that. i brought britney new album, i love it!!. and yes, kevin is a golddigger.
I don’t doubt for a second that he loves ALL his kids, but I still believe him to be an opportunistic dirtbag. Why doesn’t he hold a job, if nothing else to be a good role model for his kids. The way Britney squanders her money, her kids are probably going to need to work someday, instead of living off her proceeds. Federline needs to have some self-respect, earn his own way instead of lining his pockets with his ill-gotten gains.
Any moron can see that he’s leech trying to drain her of any money that he can. He so obviously used her for money. He uses the media and her craziness to look like a good father. His partying and cheating ways drove her crazy. All the pics that you see of him is partying and throwing ehr money away. The nannies take care of the kids.
He’s so effed up that SHE HAS TO PAY for his legal fees and his lawyers. He gets half of the proceeds from the sale of their Malibu home, alimony (which stopped a bit ago) and $20,000 in CHILD SUPPORT!!!! It does not take $20 grand to take care of 2 kids a month!
He is a pathetic loser that needs to stop riding his ex-wife’s coattails now that she has an album coming out. Yeah, be on the cover of a magazine when your wife is promoting a new album. He is calculating and manipulative and NEEDS TO BE A MAN A GET A JOB!

i just hope that britney get full costody of her kids in the the future. i read that when britney and kevin were going through fighting costody of the kids in court that britney was telling a the judge that kevin was a golddigger and the judge wasn’t buying it, i don’t know if this is true or not?. kevin should go out get a job but who want to hire him!.

All I can say is……I have not seen pics of him partying or being wild like I used to see all the time. I hope that he has grown up now and is ready to be a good father to his children and I hope that he & Brit can be on friendly terms to make things good for the kids. Those cute little boys deserve good parents!

Remember that time when Kevin Federline left his infant daughter and pregnant girlfriend (just after their car had been re-posessed ) to bone Britney Spears while she toured Europe? Spears should have known then what sort of man she was dealing with. Federline is a dirty hustler, plain and simple. It’s really galling to read comments praising this degenerate for “stepping up” to take care of his boys when their mom couldn’t. A father is SUPPOSED to take care of his children, people! It’s so sad that so many congratulate this guy for deciding NOT to be a deadbeat dad (this time).
And I can’t believe that anyone is buying this cheap “good guy” act he’s selling. He’s an unemployed bottom-feeder who gets $250,000+ a year to sit on his bloated behind while two nannies care for his children. I would really like to see Britney healed and ready to take primary custody of her boys. I wonder how “excellent” of a father Federline will be WITHOUT the 25k per month.

I’m not a big fan of his but I will say this: Those two kids look more relaxed and happy in his arms than I’ve ever seen them look with Britney. With her they always looked stressed and unhappy. It’s obvious that they feel more secure with Kevin. Who knew?
Where are his other children? They act like this guy only has the children he has with Spears.

He’ STILL a ******* hanger’on-er. Of course he’s rooting for her. If she fails and everyone doesn’t care about her anymore then he has no career left what-so-ever. As of now his big claim to fame is being Brit’s ex-husband and the father of her two kids. He was always cheating and partying on her when they were married. It was no big shock when she dumped him. He realized alfter that he lost his gravy ticket and now that she’s coming back. WHAM… he’s on the cover of people. THIS GUY MAKES ME SICK.
