Miranda Kerr Flirts With The Flagship
Miranda Kerr celebrates the grand opening of Victoria’s Secret new Lexington Avenue flagship store in New York City on Tuesday.
“My mom didn’t mind seeing me up there in my underwear ,” Kerr recently said of her modeling. “I am 25 and it’s all very lovely and like a costume. It’s beautiful and romantic … it’s not like standing up there in my everyday underwear. It’s a theatrical show and everyone is there to have a good time.”
Despite the rumors, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are not engaged, Orlando’s rep told JustJared.com on Sunday.

Becoming an Angel is one of the most lucrative contracts a model can sign (true supermodels like Gisele not withstanding). That 3 million per year VS contract that was quoted somewhere sounds about right.

The higher ranked VS models will be the ones earning 3 mill, not Kerr. She is quite low down in the pecking order and rumor has it she is going to be kicked out of VS pretty soon. D Jones didnt offer her much money for a 3 or 4 year deal.
Top models work ALL.THE.TIME. Kerr works very little in comparison to models you are comparing her to.

At this point it is not important who hates or loves who. What is important that explicit adult pictures were posted on a public board where there are probably minors posting without an adult content warning being noted.. All we can say, bad move.

Yes the more people that do it the better i guess, but its just someone taking the piss and i hope they will be deleted. Luckily its on the last page and prob hasnt been seen by many.
When she was younger she had a very innocent sexy look. She used those looks and then the seductive poses that went with the innocent youth and did well. I don’t deny that when she was younger she was very attractive. But those were her glory years. The innocence is long gone, and the face has filled out and gotten big and round and she just doesn’t have it anymore. Her looks were perfect for young teen magazines, Combine the sweet virginal looks with the overtly sexual poses and it worked for pedofiles and older men. Now she just looks like a tramp. And it is fairly common knowledge that she is defenitly no innocent little girl. She has slept with a lot of men, and done so in order to further her career. When one sells their body for money, fame, jobs and attention, that is called whorin*g it out. She needs to realize that she is on a fast down hill slide, and her has been actor isn’t going to do for her career what she thought, hell he can’t even do anything for his own crashing career. Now she just looks like a pathetic desperate has been who is trying to keep the dream alive, and she doesn’t have the looks or the personality to do it anymore.

Our concern was with the explicit content without a warning being posted. However, we noted an implication was there in your post that you were referring to Orlando. One picture link you posted in your now deleted post had a file name that was named Orlandojackscc5. You strongly implied it was Orlando by your own words which were and we quote:

If it wasn’t Orlando then your own words plus the file name implied that it was him you were referring to and him in the pictures and not some other guy as you are now claiming.

@117 - you must have some really low self-esteem if you want to look like her. There are far more beautiful women if you really have the desperate need to model yourself on someone.
Her pet rag (or perhaps former pet rag now) came out with her Victoria Secrets salary not long ago and it was quoted at $250,000 a year for three years. That is not a lot of money for someone who has to make as much money as they can before they expire in their career.
I think the David Jones salary was quoted many times as 6 figures for 5 years. If it was near a million they would have bragged about that so it’s much closer to a half which would be around $100,000 a year.
That may seem like a lot to some people but it isn’t much in the world of modeling.
It’s also interesting that Jennifer Hawkins is well known to make 1Mil. a year for Myer store so Miranda is making significantly less then her.
That deal was made even before they put Megan Gale back in so even when MK was considered for the top stop they weren’t going to pay her much at all in comparison.
As for the forbes article, other models have since said it was a bunch of trash and they were not making the amounts stated there. However Miranda and her people, who have a rep for stretching the truth a lot, keep going back to that as some sort of proof.

That VS salary was before she became an Angel. Angels rake in the millions, even if you are a new one. That is why so many of the girls can be exclusive.
And I don’t know why you girls always say that Meagan was “put back in”. She was never ‘out’. Meagan was made the “Brand Ambassador”, when Miranda took over as the “Fashion Ambassador”. This was stated numerous times, before Miranda even went to the first events in Australia in March or April. Which only makes sense because Meagan is so well known in Oz, and Miranda will hardly ever be able to attend David Jones functions, due to her no longer living on that side of the world.
Miranda is a successful model. Until you can accept that fact, all of your arguments against her are suspect.

I think that many David Jones customers are still attached to Meagan. She was their girl for so long, that it will be a while before they can accept a change. Miranda will win them over, though.
