Britney Spears - “Circus” Music Video Official Release
Britney Spears’s “Circus” music video has officially been released!
The video (directed by Francis Lawrence, who also directed “I’m A Slave 4 U” and I Am Legend) for the title track from her new album, “Circus,” was supposed to have premiered on Friday.
However, due to overwhelming fan demand–and possibly an unexpected YouTube leak on Wednesday night–the pop princess decided to release it on ET Thursday night.

LMAO@ anyone who thinks this is a copycat of Xtina’s Hurt. Seriously Britney ENTIRE album is circus themed and Xtina only had ONE circus video, besides Hurt isn’t even about a circus anyway.
I feel so bad for Xtina she has always been in Britney’s shadow and she will always be second behind Britney. Thats why her album is flopping. BIG TIME.

Good song and choreography. I still dont think it is as good as a few of her other songs. For example toxic. I love kill the lights though, hope she comes out with a vid for it. Brit is awesome =D
she looks great and the video is awesome! im so happy she is back on her feet… but the circus thing isn’t new….Christina Aguilera’s last CD (which was phenomenal) already did the circus theme…her tour was also that same design…
I am glad the is turning her life around but she totally copied Christina Aguilera’s Hurt music video and whole concept around her latest CD.

Britney certainly looks fit and beautiful compared to how she had looked the last few years, and it’s great that she’s made a good comeback–i’ve always been a fan.
BUT, she is SERIOUSLY copying exactly Christina’s concept of the circus. Back to Basics has many songs including the same theme, and in Christina’s video ‘Hurt’ she has the same hairstyle, clothing, theme, and setting that Britney is now using in ‘Circus’.
I think this was intentional, and a very very bad move on her and her directors and producers part because it is so clearly a replication of Christina’s work, and sorry to say, but if you are going to copy something you need to do it BETTER, and this is not anywhere near as good as anything on Back to Basics.
Love Britney, but she needs to get a little more creative if she wants to outshine her competition.

this is for the j guy…no she is not purposly trying to mimic christina or madonna for a boost of sales…you are probably the only one that is thinking that she is copying christinas hurt video….hello do you not hear the title CIRCUS so thats why she did it..its people like you that try and bring her down everytime she is doing good with her life..just leave your rude ass comments to yourself .Britney is doing it up big and taking over just like she always does :D hahaha so just leave her alone and be happy for her!
Britney is awesome, so happy to see her back to the way she use to be if not better. She looks goods, sounds good, and seems happier.
