Kate Winslet is a Worldly ‘Reader’
Kate Winslet shows off her curves in a Herve Leger creation and Roger Vivier sandals at the premiere of The Reader at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City on Wednesday evening.
The 32-year-old British actress stars as Hanna Schmitz in the film. The movie is set in post-WWII Germany and follows law student Michael Berg (Ralph Fiennes) as he re-encounters his former lover as she defends herself in a war-crime trial.
Kate posed with fellow actors Lena Olin, Ralph Fiennes and David Kross, as well as director Stephen Daldry, on the red carpet.

Nevermind the makeup…what happened to her lips?? She is sooo naturally beautiful. Stop it Kate! Stop the madness. Please don’t inject your lips, slap on self tanner and bleach your hair to a crisp.

For some reason she reminds me of one those”real housewives of o.c.” in these pics. Not a good look for her which is a shame, because she is usually so fresh and classy.
I got to attend the premiere tonight and she is even more beautiful in person. The movie was fantastic as well.
She is gorgeous and a great actress, but she looks nothing like her pics from that recent magazine cover. She was photoshop and air brushed to death. She looks 20 pounds heavier here than those fake pics. In those photos she was much slimmer.

i think this is the first time i approve of a herve ledger dress. she looks great. i wouldve preferred another pair of shoes but she still looks amazing for ehr age.
I prefer her not looking so tanned and her hair a darker colour so her eyebrows don’t look too dark.

Well I don’t know what some of you haters are talking about but she is HOT. And I see Nicole Kidman getting all these love posts talking about her “perfect” (fake) beauty, please this is what a real woman looks like.
Look at that hourglass figure! She doesn’t have on much makeup. She is just tanner. How do you know how she even got the tan? Maybe she just got off a vacation with her family before having to spend these months doing loads of press.
Is it just weight loss or has she (unnecessarily) done something to her face. If so, she was prettier before whatever surgery(s).

I agree Kate Winslet is a natural beauty! With that said, I think the blond hair makes her look cheap and manufactured. She doesn’t want to have a cookie cutter appearance. The blond hair washes her out! Gilding the lily is not necessary Kate.
Mr. D, Kate is a natural blonde. I think some of you kids must only known her for Titanic. Her red hair dye in Titanic was so fake even if it did look ugly.
