That’s right show Angie some love and respect. She really should be at $25Mil just like her husband. But since she hasn’t worked in a while and has been busy with motherhood it is okay by me. What other actress in Hollywood movie has ever grossed over $1 billion in one year (not Kate and Titanic)? Only male actors do that The Jolie is redefinying the role of actresses in Hollywood no wonder they are afraid of her. Go Angie Go, hell yeah.

Have you ever seen her in person face to face? I have and all I have to say is that you obviously have severe cataracts.

Fortunately cataracts can be removed in about an hours time with only one day of recovery then you’re good to go.

Are you all who keep saying she’s not no 1 have paralysed brains or or perhaps you have turds in the place of a brain. She is No1 in terms of being the top actress on the list. Now repeat slowly ’she is not No 1 on the entire list but she is the No1 actress on the list’ Keep repeating it and it should finally sink in.

I agree French fcuker name Domino is blind as a bat needs glasses or cataract laser surgery. This guy/girl is ignant (ignorant) as they say in the South (US).

Ohmygawd, the good news just keeps coming in for the jolie. I hear screaming and gnashing of teeth. I saw it listed on the CNN crawl this morning. And I knew their would be angry trolls flying out of control on their brooms around JJ’s.

Lawdy, lawdy, if only there was some way we could just keep the good news coming 24/7. Then if we could drill a hole in their skulls and laser in good news. It is a new type of torture called good news torture. It could work. Peace

And, yes, Academy members are shown special screenings around the country for films in Oscar contention. They are the full length movies. At times the director or some of the stars participate in the screening. You can google for the schedules - they are shown from Hawaii to the East Coast. And, of course, members also used to get DVD/Videos of the movies. I’m not sure anymore if they revived that process. There was a big issue about it a few years ago when the major studios decided not to send the screeners to members claiming piracy issues. An interesting law suit arose out of it. Some people claim that rather than piracy it was a ploy to keep members from seeing the smaller, independent movies ( which were beginning to dominate the Oscars ) since the screeners were the only way some members would ever see the smaller movies which obviously show in fewer theaters and for a more limited time. I’m not sure what is going on with screener DVDs now. There are only a limited number of screens and places in L.A., for instance, that are available to show the films in contention during the Oscar race period.

But it is a joke how some people can garner an invite. I remember when Aniston was invited there were howls of derisive laughter and disbelief from the more serious film community and the film discussion boards. But then I think some of the other “Friends” were already members like Lisa Kudrow.

As for Aniston claiming she only saw an hour of BB - Fincher had put together a short screening that was shown at one of the film fests to give people a taste of what he was working on. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t before he had completed all aspects of the film. I saw some reviews of the shortened version earlier this year. Maybe that’s what she saw. There is no way that she wouldn’t want to see Brad interacting with Shiloh if she had the chance. That

Two comments -

1. As far as I know the Academy hasn’t relented on sending out the DVDs. There really was a piracy issue - still is, as a matter of fact. That’s why you don’t hear about a whole lot of movie openings and grosses for China. Before the movie can play their it’s long since been pirated and sold on DVD. One of the profs at work is from China. She went back for a symposium or something back at the end of May. She came back and told me all about The Dark Knight! She saw a DVD bootleg in her hotel! TDK didn’t come out in the States until almost 6 weeks later! Some of her lab techs are from China, too. One time I got a call from the networking folks saying I had a user who was streaming massive amounts of data - gigs worth - and for me to investigate what the person was doing. They shut his port down. I go look at the machine…they guy was streaming movies from a Chinese peer-to-peer network. NEW MOVIES…not old ones. Movies that hadn’t even been released here yet. These pirates are so bold they steal these movies AND ADD CHINESE SUBTITLES TO THEM! LOL.Sad but true… Ummm…needless to say this didn’t go over well with his boss…or the networking folks. Not a fireable offense, but it did cause us to restrict his internet access…

2. The clips Fincher put together was only 20 minutes long and he did it for the retrospective of his work at the Telluride Film Festival. That’s when the not-so great reviews were spreading. Fincher actually had to issue a statement and say that the clips he chose were random and not indicative of the movie as a whole. He choose them to talk about various aspects of filmmaking, not to really showcase the movie.

Like I said twice before - Fincher is friends with the Arquettes - David to be precise. IIRC I read that they’re ganja buddies…and were before Brad was stupid enough to marry X. So David knew Fincher…and Brad knew Fincher…and like everything else of significance in X’s life she only knows Fincher because he was friends with people she knows or married. Notice how X has no worthwile associations of her own? THAT is why she has no power in Hollywood. Er…I guess you could consider the Huvane bros. “significant” but if they keep spending all their time pimping her Kevin will have other clients at CAA and Steven will have other clients to lie to the media about.

gloria if jolie stole brad then then be smart and tell aniston to sue her! or go call the police to rescue brad pitt from the hands of the jolie! -i think he enjoys being stolen and don’t hv any regrets or plans to come back. how about you stealing john mayer from her?…don’t you love golden showers?
