Cate Blanchett Stars On Walk of Fame
Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett (in Armani Prive) receives the 2,376th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday, December 5.
Steven Spielberg, who directed the 39-year-old Aussie star in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, introduced Cate during the ceremony held in front of the Egyptian Theatre.
Her upcoming film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, costarring Brad Pitt opens on Christmas Day.

Stop That. AJ is a friend to Cate and vice versa. They both stand on their rights and merits. Cate looks great and AJ didn’t invent the red lipstick. I love them both.

do you all think Cate Blanchett has had work done? I pray to god that she doesn’t get botox like that hack Nicole Kidman. But I think she is less shallow than Nicole and cares too much about her acting craft to take away facial expressions.

She is a beautiful down to earth lady. She well deserve this honor. She is a great actress. It’s sad that Jennifer Aniston’s pathetic fans would diss any body close to Brad Pitt because of all the nasty stuff Jen and her fans spew bad karma and it’s going to ruin Jen’s movies.

For the umpteenth time, Cate does NOT have any work done on her. I’ve followed Cate for 10 years and she just keeps getting better and better. I truly feel she is the greatest actress ever! I used to be a die-hard Streep fan in the 80s and I still am to a certain extent, but I think Streep lacked the refinement and elegance Cate possesses. She has such a unique and strong presence on camera and is the only actress to really experiment with different styles of acting and nail each and every one of them! Her Queen Bess and Bob Dylan will go down in history as two of the greatest performances by an actress of all times along with Streep’s Sophie’s Choice. I’ve heard Meryl’s a big Cate fan too, so that says it all right there. Congrats Cate the Great, you truly deserve it!

Psst: black & white clothing with bright red lipstick is a classic look. It isn’t any actress’s “signature” look, for god’s sake. It’s a fashion classic worn by thousands of women every day. Clean, simple. She looks great.
