OlderIsani Griffith + Marilyn Manson = New Couple!
Marilyn Manson keeps close to his new girlfriend, LA model Isani Griffith, at the vernissage of his inaugural U.S. exhibition “Marilyn Manson: Trismegistus” during Art Basel Miami 2008 on Thursday.
“That’s my special lady friend,” Marilyn said of Isani at the event, which included his own watercolor paintings (pictured below) at new French-electro club Louis Bar-Lounge at Gansevoort South in Miami’s Design District.
Marilyn, 39, and Isani, 24, have been dating ever since his split last month with Evan Rachel Wood, 21.
Before Isani’s MySpace profile was privatized, she listed her music interests (none of them included her current boyfriend). It sickens me that his celebrity is about his love life anymore and not his music.
I remember back in the ACS days, it was about music and free thinking. Now it’s who he’s sleeping with, this year… last year and the year before that, it’s been all about his “barbie dolls”.
I miss the old Manson that wasn’t drunk off his ass and was strongly intelligent without being jaded or needing to grab attention with his flavour of the month.

I had hoped Evan and MM would resume their romance. Evan’s vulnerability and gentle beauty complimented MM’s bad boy brashness. The birthdates of lovers are irrelevant: legendary Hollywood couple Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall enjoyed a 25 year age difference-Bogey was 44 when he began dating the 19 year old Bacall. Modern Hollywood includes the 25 year age gap between Warren Beatty and Annette Bening as well as the 25 year gap between Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. He’s a great artist and an awesome musician. People are probably hating Manson because he gets what they can’t get. The “beautiful people” are attracted to him and it pisses you all off because of who he is. You all think that the girls can do better then him… I think not.
