They have NO trouble in front of the camera, but you have to some control NOT to look silly, talking to one person…( Julia Roberts, said ), and act like you are not” staring them down and looking at something on them “…Julia said some interviewers come across real difficult to maintain eye control, and ” she dreaded giving interviews “, so much that she avoids them as long as she can….
Katie reminded me of that Julia remark !!!!…..Extremely nervous !!!…that is all !!

Because critics keep imagining that she always sound rehearsed, #65. There’s always some excuse with you critics.

Why do I always encounter some nut who says they work in the industry?

He’s a master media manipulator yet all these threads are about how transparent Cruise’s alleged PR attempt are despite not making any sense? For instance, now you’re accusing him of sucking up to the public and only now trying to reclaim his PR even though that disaster was three years old and he’s only doing interviews now because he has hiss first movie coming up in over a year.

Why is it such a stretch? Maybe because he’s more famous than his kid and people aren’t going to see a movie just because he’s seen in NY doing nothing out of the ordinary with her?

I didn’t care for the interview, only because the old Katie is M.I.A. Even the Katie from when she first started dating Tom, she had the giggles all the time. Tom even commented how he loved when she smiled/laughed & her tongue came out. It was cute. I understand the looking all around in the video, have you ever tried to talk directly into a camera? It’s awkward & takes lots of practice. I did note how she called her school an “all-girls academy”. I’d be willing to bet it was a CATHOLIC all-girls school?? No mention of her old religion but I could be wrong. Also, if my daughter was the child of one of the world’s most famous people, I would carry her too, all the time! Who knows if some nut came along and….well, never mind. No good thoughts there.

Katie did go to an All Girls Catholic Academy….I believe that it has since gone coed, since she graduated………I would also carry my child around the hordes of paparazzi, who are constantly screaming at the child and trying to get closeup pictures……..I also would NOT go through a garage or a back door…………
Brad said they would not either, because most of the time, the journalists are there also…………… He said he is trying to ” teach his children to cope with the paparazzi, and Maddox is doing well with it “….a couple of years ago, Katie was always smiling and giggling and SEEMED happier……I never see that woman ( dark haired ) who was ” her minder “, with her anymore……I’m wondering if she is still studying her ” cult information “, while in New York ?…

On http://www.deceiver.com, a poster said that Katie had attended a Catholic Mass at the Cathedral LAST Sunday, and received Holy Communion……..She entered by a side door, and sat way up front, then after Mass, stayed seated and the Priest came over to sit with her……She said they talked for about an hour, then Katie left with her bodyguard…..( No Suri )…….I don’t know whether this is TRUE or not, but, if it is, it shows me that she is standing up for her own beliefs !!!!
