Gerard Butler & Dante Spencer: Boys’ Night Out
300 star Gerard Butler gets in some guy-bonding time with model pal Dante Spencer at S Bar in Hollywood on Saturday night. (They are pictured here outside of Katsuya restaurant, which is next door to S Bar.)
Dante, 33, dated American Idol judge Paula Abdul, now 46, back in 2005. They had met salsa dancing in L.A. at a club called Mood on Hollywood Boulevard.

I think Gerard is always having a good time, he is very sincere person and has a very shinny personality, maybe what we want is for him to be an everyday star like the others in hollywood that are making good films and also good scandals, he is not like that, maybe he is waiting for a mega film in which he will shine as always, but is not his time right now, his style is natural, funny and sexy some times, but for me it doesnt matter what he does I love him and I like very much the way he does his career, I am a fan and I will love him in any way, of course, as long as he dont do things like drugs, or crazy sex relationships, because that will hurt me so much, and everyone that care for him, I want to see him happy and sincere as always, and I hope soon the real love knoks of his door and he give us some beautiful children with does lovely eyes and of course his smile. Hey, I am a Gerry afficionada…but where is that video where he touches a girl fan? I just get sheer pleasure out of watching him and hearing him talk. Women of all ages find him irresistable…and I agree. He has come so far from his lawyer days..and from where no one knew his name. He is getting more and more popular…I cannot wait to see “The ugly Truth”…how about the rest of you. He is going to salsa…among other things. Part of being a working actor is acting like a celebrity, btw. He has to put himself out there so he will be noticed.
He has already proven he’s a talented actor in spite of Hollyweird only noticing 300.
What about Dear Frankie, The Phantom of the Opera and Lara Croft - Tomb Raider 2 - The Cradle of Life? He certainly was quite noticeable in them.
He looks very good in those pics. People should remember he’s not a 27-something guy anymore so for a guy close to his 40ies, he’s still doable as far as I’m concerned.
As for the gay rumors, get over them already. Gay performers spend their time denying them, even taking ads in papers to say they’re not gay. Heteros don’t bother, they just laugh them off like Gerry does.
More likely he’s a lothario like TMZ said of him as he seems to go from one girl to the other. So any model, either exotic or not, in her 20ies or 30ies, should be warned that he’s only doing them for the fun of it but when he’ll settle down, you can bet it won’t be with an exotic-looking model as he’ll want somebody serious and intelligent by his side, not some superficial airhead of a model.
Guys like Gerry never marry girls they can **** easily without the promise of an engagement ring, please do remember that.

Scotsmen and Irishmen are very macho and like their time with their buddies. They are not the only men acting that way out there in the world and that doesn’t make them gay. I know Canadian men who have to have either their Fridays or Saturdays out with their buddies drinking beers and watching sports.
For all of you to know, it could be that both Dante and Gerry just wanted a night out between guys and if some of you had been where they were you’d probably had seen both of them hitting on some girls.
To Gerry Butler: I don’t believe you’re the real one but you’re right, he’s more of a lover than a fighter. For those who’ve known him for years do know that Gerry prefers to avoid confrontation and bottles up whenever provoked. So that pap really had to provoke him really bad for him to lose it and hit him. I would think that for all the years he has spent in L.A. with only one parking ticket for parking at the wrong time and one attack on a pap, the guy has a better record than some other celebs there. Don’t forget that Pitt, Clooney et al have several PRs on their payrolls so I’m sure that a lot of people get paid not to go over and reveal what George Clooney might have done recently.

Again I say, if he is gay or not no one should care but if he is, I doubt he’d be dating his guys at places where he can be photographed.
There is nothing wrong with being gay or bi, but if a person chooses not to come out with his/her sexual preferences, that should be respected.
