I watch the live stream from Hollywood premiere and was like being there. It was wonderful. Brad’s parents stayed with Angie while Brad was doing his interviews. Think some of his other family members were there also. They hung out around Angie as she made her rounds of interviews. Sure this is a special night for the entire family. Love how Brad’s parents stayed with Angie. Angie looked beautiful and her skin was flawless. Brad’s movie Jesse James is on HBO. Guess they showed it because of the premiere. Brad looked really good. EXTRA’s raw transmission of the premiere was not as good as the Hollywood one.

Can you imagine how happy Mrs Pitt must be knowing that Miss Jolie is taking such good care of her son.

I get the feeling from what Brad has said about his Mother, who was a school counselor. That Angie and Jane are quite similiar, Yes, they come from a different times but her and Angie seem to be driven by great empathy they have for others
Brad has said that his Mother is one of the kindest most caring people you will meet. He has also discribed his Angie as incredibly loving.
You know what they say about Men marrying woman with similiar triats as there Mother.
I believe that is the case with Brad.
I think with the X he was just trying to help an obiviously confused and disfunctional woman but with Angie he went for his dream woman.

There were at least two with Brad’s parents talking along with Angie.

Did you guys notice Angie talking with her godmother Jacqueline Bisset during the Hollywood Premiere’s webcast? They had the camera on Angie for a very long time and she was talking very happily with a woman who mainly had her back to the camera. I didn’t know who it was the first time, but then I saw her face during the rebroadcast. Wow! Extra’s feed was horrible. Hollywood Premiere.com put them to shame.

Pitt maintains a home with Angelina Jolie in the French Quarter of New Orleans, and has spearheaded a home development plan to help rebuild the devastated ninth ward of the city. Last year Pitt took advantage of a meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative by announcing a new 150-Home Sustainable Community in New Orleans’ Lower Ninth Ward. Pitt partnered with real-estate developer and philanthropist Steve Bing as part of his “Make It Right” project.

Pitt pledged to match $5 million in contributions to the project. Bing has pledged to match $5 million in contributions as well, for a total of $10 million in matching funds for the home building.

Jill, I posted on her thread that it looked like a lampshade. :lol: She tries too hard to be unique in her clothes, in my opinion, so when she has a miss, it is magnified. I much prefer Angie’s elegant, sophisticated style more, although occasionally, she has a miss.

I hate to bring up the X on this special night, but I was reading an excerpt from her USA interview, and all I can say is that we are witnessing a major melt-down of this woman. Good karma, you make an EXCELLENT point, and it’s part of the reason I find Maniston absolutely loathesome…any thinking intelligent adult who read Angie’s Vogue from two years ago, would have recognized the poise, grace, thoughtfulness and valliant attempt to elevate them all above the nonsense, in her words. I found her simply eloquent, not to mention, and as usual, just a good read.

When I read what Aniston supposedly said, I was floored. I couldn’t believe a grown asss woman would have grossly mischaracterized what Angelina said just for her own gain, not to mention that she would snark, and try to garner sympathy all over again (for a non-issue). It was disgusting. It was deliberate. It was dishonest.

If my loathing was beginning to wane in these 4 years, this fired it up even stronger…because my worst suspicions about her character have been born out with this latest stunt from she and huvane.

Usually I don’t comment on someone’s personal family life - because you never know what went on…so I sometimes have kept it buttoned about her mom…but the writing was on the wall when she refused to talk to her only parent for more than a decade, not inviting her to her wedding, and then deliberately lying in the press that they were trying to work it out only to go another 4 years until her next film needed promoting. She’s sickening. She holds grudges, and she hopes that they will play to her benefit. As usual, Aniston doesn’t need to do the work - she doesn’t need to explain the reality of her dead marriage, she doesn’t need to talk timelines (she’s scared of them), she doesn’t need to say just when they separated unofficially - she wants the public to assume she’s the wounded party that Brad and angie (or maybe just Angie now) is the perp - and to act accordingly. She wants to sic’ her mad dog haters onto a young compassionate humanitarian Mom of 6.

Aniston is worthless, and she blows.

I recalled seeing it somewhere too, and know why I didn’t find it funny? The subject matter was distasteful sure, but I’m the first one to laugh at an inappropriate joke, but somehow knowing that Angie is usually on the receiving end of so many hateful judgemental hags and their anger made me cringe at it a bit - there are too many wackos in the world (both Jen Garner and another star have had to take out restraining orders lately - we live in a crazy world)…so I found that kinda sick, but it also wasn’t funny because it DID NOT HAPPEN. I think Angelina has the BEST body. It’s all natural, no silicone, everything is in proportion, the fleshiness is where it’s supposed to be, ie. butt and boobs, her thin, bird-like arms, and the beautiful shoulders. It’s so unfair that one person be blessed with so many gifts. *sigh*

Brad Pitt donned his best black-tie ensemble Monday night to premiere his highly anticipated movie ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ along with Angelina Jolie and his mom and dad — and Brad tells ET how his classy look was one of theme’s of the night!

Oscar organizers face original dilemmas

Eric Roth, who won an Oscar for his script adaptation of “Forrest Gump,” based his script for the upcoming Brad Pitt movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s short-story.

Paramount is campaigning “Button” as an adapted screenplay; the script’s idea, it reasonably argues, comes from a short story by Fitzgerald, which in turn was based on a concept from Mark Twain. That’s adaptation.

The Academy will go along with the bid and classify it as adapted, insiders say. Still, an argument could be made for the script’s, well, originality.

The script is a “based-on” only in the loosest sense — the movie takes the concept of a man aging backward but uses few of the story’s particulars or characters.

Meanwhile, in the other direction, a host of historical pictures — including “Milk,” “Changeling” and “W.” — will be classified as original by the Academy, though they do draw from various records, news accounts or books.

“Milk’s” Dustin Lance Black interviewed primary sources. “Changeling’s” J. Michael Straczynski researched newspapers and court records. “W.” scribe Stanley Weiser combed through the literature and in interviews referenced tomes like Michael Isikoff’s “Hubris.”

This kind of haziness is why the Academy’s writer’s branch, according to insiders, is considering amending its rules to lay out some more specific criteria beginning next year.

The question is, what should those criteria be?

Blanchett ‘wouldn’t change a thing’

Cate Blanchett says there’s nothing she’d change about her life.

Speaking at the LA premiere of her new movie The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, in which star Brad Pitt ages backwards, she said: “You kind of have to repair and forgive the mistakes that you’ve made and just try not to repeat them.”

The Aussie told reporters that she wouldn’t choose to go back to moments in her own past.

“Not that my life is in any way perfect, but I wouldn’t change anything because if I changed one single thing I wouldn’t have the children I have. I wouldn’t have the partner I have.”

Cate played down reports that the movie would do well at next year’s Oscars, but admitted that they’d worked hard to create the perfect film.

“It was a very ambitious undertaking and I don’t know how the director David Fincher held it all in his head,” she said.

Damn that girl! she is looking so pretty in her close ups. I gonna get double dose of botox injected in my face and baboon fat injected in my thin lips to copy her look.
Gotta go and prepare for my next photo shoot with my cute doggy costar for my new movie.Damn even the doggy is prettier than me. Oh well I guess I have to punch Owen harder in the face to make him uglier looking than me.
Oh and make sure to see my new movie when it comes out. It will be a huge box office hit.

I really couldn’t care less if you don’t like what I am saying, it is my opinion and I am entitled to it. If a few of the people on here need to idolized this couple, then by all means do so. But you really need a reality check because not everyone feels the same way. I have no respect for this pair of phonies and I never will.

I really do get a laugh from all the name calling that is said when someone has a different view of them. It really does shine light on the fact that some Brangelina lovers really lack social skills because they have no intelligent and mature way of communicating with someone they disagree with other then resort to nastiness. I am so glad that I can rise above the insults, it really does make me a better person.
