Brad Pitt World Premieres Benjamin Button
A dapper-looking Brad Pitt suits up in a three-piece Tom Ford tuxedo at the world premiere of Paramount’s The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button held at Mann’s Village Theatre on Monday, Decemeber 8, in Westwood, Calif.
On his arm the entire night was his picture perfect partner Angelina Jolie in a strapless Versace floor-grazing gown. The 33-year-old mother-of-six finished off her outfit with matching black peep-toes and drop earrings from the Ralph Lauren Vintage Collection.
Who else came out to support the Brad’s film? His proud parents! Bill and Jane Pitt were spotted lending their support to their son.

As to JLO’s dress, I don’t think JLO knows any other way to dress, really. She was actuallly more covered up than usual for her.

You know… it’s funny, on jjb they have pics of a very VERY Thin Jen Connelly at her premiere tonight with Keanu…if you never knew she used to be a lot bigger, you wouldn’t think anything was wrong - and I like her I think she’s a sweetheart…my point….
…is that Angelina has always, ALWAYS been thin, her face being broad with apple cheeks like her Dad…may give the impression that she’s fuller, especially when she was younger - her face was like Shilohs, but her body has always been reed thin….

Here’s some news for you. Angelina does not care about fashion. Her dressing style has improved over the years and she uses a stylist to buy her red carpet dresses for her but that’s as far as she cares about her style.
I just don’t get it. Where did people get this impression that Angelina was interested in fashion or that she was dressing to impress fashion critics. She’s never been that type of person. If you’re that interested fashion, then why not focus on those celebrities that dress to get attention for their clothes. Posh, Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria, Kate Beckinsale take interest in clothes, so go look at their pictures.

Angie is never known to be so particular with fashion, to a point of dressing up for the sake of outshining other celebrities or with the intention of impressing people. I think she chooses her clothes more on COMFORT than style, although it also matters to her to look good as part of her being a celebrity. However, her personality is different. from the rest. She rather not wear something she doesn’t like even though how beautiful the dress is to others if she’s not at ease with it. Comfort over style is her priority. When she’s comfortable, her confidence shows it.
Actually, i really like her sense of style and fashion. Very simple but elegant. Polished looking. She may not be known as risk-taker as to fashion but she handles every dress very well every time. She rarely deviates from her classic style because she knows that’s what works for her. As the saying goes, “IF IT AIN’T BROKE, WHY FIX IT.”
She’s a “minimalist” type of a person. She is a believer of “Less is More”. She sees to it that her accessories and make-up will not make her look like a Christmas Tree. She makes sure her outfit enhances her genetically-blessed features and not outshine them. That’s classy and sophisticated.

I know. I pointed all of that out first thing this morning. I even posted a link to a picture where she was standing all up on Brad Grey…with her boobs in his face. The man is about 5′4″ - tops. She’s 5′7″…had on 4″-5″ heels…her boobs were almost directly in his face… Tacky, shameless…desperate. I’m telling ya…she and X in a movie together…it’d make slightly more than a Chestica Simpson flick…

Two nights before, Brad and Angie were among those at Kennedy/Marshall’s holiday party at their spectacular Pacific Palisades home, which among other things is decorated with a very cool giant “Blow-Up” poster right outside their cozy screening room. Kennedy says it’s the first party they’ve ever thrown there (although they had a nice afternoon soiree for “Button” at their ranch during this year’s Telluride Film Festival as well). Ben Stiller, Peter Bogdanovich, Danny DeVito, Rhea Pearlman, Cate Blanchett, Jared Harris, Michael Shannon, Brad Grey, Sherry Lansing and many others seemed to be taking in the holiday (and award) season spirit(s).
But back to Monday night.
Buzz was very good among revelers at the lavish premiere party, with many amazed by Pitt’s aging transformations and genuinely impressed with the movie making. When I mentioned this to director David Fincher he was unmoved.
“This is a premiere in Hollywood. Everyone lies. What did they really think?”
Uh, they REALLY liked it, David.
I asked 90-year-old producer A.C. Lyles, who’s been working on the Paramount lot since, gasp!, 1928 (he says he has a very short resume) how he compared “Benjamin Button” to past studio triumphs. He says he loved the film, particularly the several bits in which a guy gets struck by lightning.
Now if the movie can get struck by some Globe and Oscar lightning, the “Button” crew will be a REALLY happy bunch.

I agree w/ the Jlo comments - and I generally like Jennifer Lopez - she can be over the top and a diva but at least she’s not a whiny fraud - anyway when I saw her pics my first thought was that she was trying to get more attention and steal the spotlight (impossible feat)!

I remember reading an article able Princess Diana’s style and how Diana’s clothes had to be designed to take into account the fact that Diana had to look good at every angle because she would be photographed from every angle. Also, what Diana would do in those clothes, such as shaking hands or bending over to greet people or whatever.
Angelina has the same considerations. She has to look good in every angle and when she lifts her arms to sign autographs or bends down to greet a young fan, nothing should pop out. (Imagine JLo bending down to greet a fan in a wheel chair in her outfit last night, That guy would have gotten an eyefull. LOL)
Also, I think Angelina was not one of the STARS of the show last night. Taraji, Cate, Judy Ormond, were and Angelina’s quiet elegance was just right.
Jane told Showbiz Tonite that she has 14 grandchildren, and she looks forward to spending Christmas with all 14 of them.

Did anyone else see Extra yesterday where JA was confronted with Mayer’s video accusing her of not giving him credit for baking the Obama cake? JA was stunned when she saw the video. Then they brought Oprah in on video and Oprah said she knew JA was lying when she said she baked the cake alone. Also when JM said they were going to therapy, JA was like “alright buddy”.- as if enough already. They said JA was caught in a white lie on tape.

In my opinion, Angelina can be wearing a potato sack and still be the center of attention, the spotlight will always be on her because she eclipses anyone in her vicinity. Same thing in her movies, she shines and one cannot help but look at her and only her on screen….
Last night it wasn’t her premiere yet everyone wanted a piece of her - if you look at Getty, wire,etc… she has the most pics of all the other people, she is just that sought after and now Brad has an equal partner!
