Exactly Lylian, that was a direct slam of Maniston - the “in NO WAY,” was key.

Because if what Maniston tried to phonily and falsely set up on Oprah was true, that they were pals, and all was good and they’ve even communicated - NO WAY would you answer like that. You’d make some cutesy comment back to the interviewer. It would kind of be like if Angie had been asked about Jonny Lee becoming a new Dad…she’d be happy to comment, because you know she’s genuinely happy for him.

Brad has washed his hands of Maniston. I think he did it eons ago.

By the way, while looking for other idiotic coked out interviews of hers…the other day, I found this one TIFF interview to tribute media, and she again is yammering about ‘Plan B,’ and just about implies she and her highschool friend (that Brad gave the boot too, Kristen Hahn) started it. It was so sad and sick. I wanted to yell - uh, look you dumb wh*re, it was called Plan ‘B’ because of the TWO BRADS, not because of your dumb asss — if Brad now presided over a company called Plan J, then I might start to wonder…but then again, I might STILL think Brad started it, and the J was for JOKE, because he had to try and find his JOKE of a TV sit-com HACK wife a few sh*tty rom com projects to hang under it’s shingle.

Previously we’d seen reports about Brad buying the rights to the book “The Lost City of Z”…and signing on a director…but now Variety is reporting that he’s signed on to star in the movie as well…

James Gray, Brad Pitt find ‘Lost City’
Writer-director to adapt nonfiction adventure

Paramount has set “We Own the Night” helmer James Gray to direct “The Lost City of Z.” Gray will adapt the David Grann book for Brad Pitt to star in as British soldier and spy Percy Fawcett.

The nonfiction book by Grann, a staffer at the New Yorker, will be published in April by Doubleday. Paramount acquired it earlier this year for Pitt to produce through his Par-based Plan B banner (Daily Variety, April 1).

Fawcett left Victorian society to explore in the Amazon, and he became obsessed by the idea of an advanced civilization he called Z, which he believed existed in the depths of the jungle. Along with his son, Fawcett headed into the jungle in 1925 in search of Z and was never seen again.

“This is a terrific opportunity to do something entirely different for me,” Gray said. “It is a story that will be told with an epic scale, with a main character who is larger than life.”

Gray most recently helmed “Two Lovers,” starring Joaquin Phoenix and Gwyneth Paltrow, which will be released by Magnolia Pictures in February.

Par releases Pitt starrer “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” on Christmas Day.

Brad was right; Tom was great in Tropic Thunder!

I htink the genuine happiness and “twinkle” in AJ’s eye has to do with all four of them beiing there for his premiere. On the CNN’s entertainment segment, his dad talks about BP coming out to LA with nothing and making something of himself

AJ’s looked a bit worried when he spoke — kind of like what is he going to say LIVE on TV. His mother seemed happy & full of pride.

Apparently, BP said, “the movie makes you want to call your parents and hug your kids.”

When asked (in front of his parents) what it’s like being married to sexist man … AJ said, “he makes beautiful children”

In closing, I think now that JA has moved with her love life (& AJ has given them three grandkids) … Jane Pitt feels free to show her feelings for AJ. I find it very ironic that BP & JA filmsboth open the same day. The difference being he’s living the life she plays in her movie.
