David Beckham Bungee Jumps… Shirtless!
BUNGEE LIKE BECKHAM
Daredevil David Beckham goes shirtless bungee jumping off Auckland Harbor Bridge in New Zealand.
According to The Sun, the 33-year-old soccer stud jumped off the bridge and plunged 134 feet into icy water. The event was a team-bonding experience for Becks–a bunch of his Los Angeles Galaxy teammates all jumped one after the other.
I’m no expert, but can’t you get rope/cord burn by not wearing a shirt???

What a flashy car to drive in today’s economy !!!!!…….With unemployment at an all-time high, and places like Soup Kitchen’s, The Angel Tree ( toys and clothes for foster and abused children ), and Salvation Army, who are hurting for money, plus thousand’s of other people who are coping with utility bills and food, David SHOULD turn his head and drive off……
My conscience would have NEVER allowed me to drive a car like that around and be seen………He should be ashamed, OR at least drive something a little more sensible……………BUT, then are others who are going to say, ” it is his money “……….That does NOT change things with me…………

Um… is this bungee jumping? I always thought you had to be tied by your ankles and jump headfirst. This doesn’t look scary at all.

I live in NZ and it is now summer here, so not sure what you mean by icy waters, it was really nice weather here when David Beckham stayed.

This is for you Sara # 11. Although there is a certain elegance in using only a simple ankle attachment, accidents in which participants became detached led many commercial operators to use a body harness, if only as a backup for an ankle attachment.
You still jump off a bridge and tumble to the water. The pics were just of him getting lifted out. duh!
I live in Auckland and it’s early summer here at the moment so there is no way the water was icy. It doesn’t even snow in Auckland in winter.

#11 - Yes it is a bungee jump, you can do them with a body/waist harness instead of the ankle harness. And you aren’t just lowered in feet first, you can do running jumps off the platform, flips & twists etc. I actually think it’s a bit more fun than the ankle harnessed-head first jumps cos you can do tons of stuff whilst you fall. It’s all still bungee jumping.
I’ve done a jump in the body harness before. It’s awesome.
I want to go back to NZ to do it again.
