Debra Messing is the Tomb Raider
Here is your first look of The Starter Wife star Debra Messing as Lara Croft, The Tomb Raider (originally played by Angelina Jolie in the 2001 movie).
Thanks to PopWrap, we learn that Debra’s character Molly dreams of a life where guns have replaced Blackberry’s. Molly’s BFF Rodney (Chris Diamantopoulos) also gets in on the spy action as Alex West, Daniel Craig’s character from Tomb Raider.
The Starter Wife airs Fridays @ 10PM on USA.

Messing around with pretending to be the Tomb Raider will be fun most likely for Debra but that is as far as it will go as in only a joke.
I remember when that movie came out almost every beauty salon barber shops gyms anything to do with beauty and looking great all had Angie’s Tomb Raider HUGE posters plastered in their locals.
Too sexy for words. No wonder Brad can’t keep his hands off of his beautiful icon wife or partner.

i know #46 jughead, i think jen is a good choice for lara croft. it will be hysterically funny and a major hit. i would love to see jen in an action film. i heard she plans and love to do action and produce the fil under her production- would love to see that.
movied also agree w/ you, i think jen could do justice as lara croft.by the way, i think jolie is attached very much to lara croft as far as a movie -dare i say, she is the movie franchise?…until somebody else can outdo her,but for now ,she is the movie franchise lara croft.
question for jughead and movied, who do you think can play and do justice as lara croft in the movie?….jen,megan fox,nicole kidman,halle berry or jesica alba?
She did make a good Lara Croft. I was rather surprised. It’s a comedy so it’s not supposed to be serious, but she looked the part.

Actually the thread was running quite smootly without jerky dumb posts about anuston so you can see the respect for Debra Messing.
I only ever saw her in Terms of Endearment and that was moons ago. Possibly 1975 and once again in the early 80’s maybe? in An Officer and A Gentelman. Like her as a young actress. In fact thought she played good roles in both. movies. Don’t know anything about her since those long ago days.
He-ll she has to be late 40’s when you look at the numbers. If she looked the part for her comedy show and did a good job she must be looking great for her age. I know a new set of boobs and a new face they all do that but she must be training or working out. to still have the curves and muscle?
It’s all in fun . Good for her but i want my Angie back.

That show Starter Wife might be canceled soon. They are trying everything to spruce it up. And NO, not even in a dream. Angie is the only Lara Croft and Daniel Craig are the only ones suited for those roles even as a dream episode. Thanks for the question though. Now you have one answered.
She has the chest of a 13 year old boy, no way she is Laura Croft or comparable to Angelina Jolie.
