OlderT.R. Knight Quits Grey’s Anatomy?
T.R. Knight, aka Dr. George O’ Malley, has walked off the set of Grey’s Anatomy and quit, according to an entertainment lawyer at CrazyDaysAndNights.net.
Reports the source, “So, I got a little more information from my source and they say, “He hasn’t attended table reads since episode 2. He is pissed and miserable and thinks his story line is stupid. He said goodbye to his hair and makeup people last week. He says he is done and has quit. ABC has not released him. Shondra Rhimes, the producer called him and he told her he had nothing to say. He has packed his dressing room.”

UPDATE: A Grey’s rep tells JustJared.com these rumors are not true. Says rep, “T.R. has never walked off set in the middle of filming. He attended the table read today and will be shooting this week, like any other week of production.”

i actually like him but if that’s true…what the heck is wrong with him? he’s an actor, and not the script writer or producer of the show

if brooke can get over the fact that she was fired due to reasons other than her character being a lesbo tr can get over it too…this has been what alot of his huge stink has been about…yeah stand up for what you believe in but dont put your job at risk…

That’s too bad but not surprising. Kristen and Ausiello both have blind items talking about a Grey’s actor losing their job. This looks like TR quit before he was fired. He’s better off leaving the sinking ship, the show has become unwatchable.
why do ppl from grey’s anatomy leave the show? First, it was Burke (Isaiah Washington-got fired for the slur), then Addison Montgomery (Kate Walsh-left for Private Practice), next would be Brooke Smith (Erica Hahn-got fired for her lesbian role or otherwise what ABC says, her character did not have the chemistry and magic), and now TR…..this is extremely sad

i dont really care about George’s character being gone, but that does not look good for TR. it’s gonna be hard to find a job with a rep like that…but i’ll still miss him.

The first season of the show was good, but it’s really gone downhill. The writing is just over the top. Last commercial I saw for it was about some ship accident or something and Meredith fell in the water. It had potential.

i don’t think any of us should jump to conclusions.
none of us know what went down on that set that could have made this happen. Maybe something offensive was said to him, maybe their is some political stuff going on behind the scenes and he got tired.
I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, so never make assumptions without knowing all the facts.
I wish him luck, but I am very sad he will no longer be on the show, though it is hideous now anyway.

I think that all of the actors believe that they are all that and more, when in reality the only one on the show I like is Sandra Oh. Katherine Heigl is paid way too much, and she is not a good actress on Grey’s Anatomy. Meredith sucks as an actress, too ‘blah’ for me. This show went to their heads, thinking they were the #1 show, and now it’s going down hill. I also thought Burke was good with Sandra. It’s not the same with him gone. T.R, go work in sales, buddy…..
the show used to be must watch tv for me. since isaiah washington was fired it has been a load of crap (and not simply due to the departure of one of the strongest characters). tr’s character is sniveling and annoying, much like the actor it sounds like. abc will probably ax the show in the next couple of years.

Don’t blame him for quitting. Used to love the show but the storylines have been really bad lately and I have quit watching it it’s gotten so bad-I don’t blame him, the show sucks!

How would this even be impossible? I’m sure ABC has him under contract - he couldn’t just walk off like that without getting sued and I’ll bet he knows that. Sounds like BS to me. Not that I care - I’m a House fan.
OMG is there NOTHING but drama there? This show used to be must watch tv but now it just is crazy load of garbage. Why is it still on air? Or why dont the network fix it?

Thanks for the update but it still doesnt make sense. He’s been off the storyline since the second episode and he’s finally making his way back to the table readings? Sounds like someone waved a little thing called a contract at Mr. TR to remind him of his obligations.

Have any of you naysayers given a single thought to perhaps an easier reason? The show’s plots & writing has really gone to hell. Perhaps he just wants to get out before this show tanks. The 1st 2 seasons were GREAT - But these last 2 don’t seem to know where it’s going…
I’d rather end up in a hospital like the fictional Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital - Where House (Hugh Laurie) can be at his sarcastic, egotistical best. Hell, he’s a junkie & I’d fall at his feet before EVER stepping into the so-called “teaching hospital” of Seattle Grace… Thank God I’m NOT sick, & it’s NOT real… Or is it? Are there hospital like this out there - I hope not. At least not the latter.

well greys anatomy is getting stupid in some story line and it kinda suck starting with the ghost thing sooo annoying.. and if they gave O’Malley a crappy script like he saw his dead father crap.. then its really stupid..lol anyways i like season 1 and 2 much better than the other season

I quite like TR Knight on GA but I agree the storylines are getting stupid. For me it was when Addison. PP is a much better program. I think they have too many charactors on GA they could get rid of some preferably Izzie. & seriously what is the point of having a sexy guy like Eric Dane in the show when he has such little air time & a crap story of being Derek’s goffer. That really annoys me!
