Britney Spears - “Circus” Single Cover
Check out the new CD cover for Britney Spears’s upcoming and super-catchy single “Circus”.
Brit’s album is expected to hit #1, selling around 500,000 units in its first week. Circus will be her fifth #1 album. Among female artists, only four have had more #1 albums: Barbra Streisand (eight), Madonna (seven) and Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson (both with six).

why do people keep comparing her to christina? they’re so different, and i love ‘em both! christina reminds me of gospel/jazz and britney reminds me of pop/europop. and ps, christina’s hair was SO different - it was thicker with huge curls and it was like white blonde, not yellow blonde.

NEVER underestimate the buying power of flamboyant gay men, trashy girls and the media. Never in the history of popular culture has someone been this OVERhyped in the media despite having NO talent.
Yet, I can’t help but think it’s flamboyant gay men and trashy girls who bought 2-3 copies each, like how teenage girls went to see Twilight 2-3 times to push it over the edge. I have a feeling and hopefully I am right, that this album will disappear rather quickly once the hype dies down.

Christina has made a career of ripping people off. First she was a Britney wannabe during the buble gum pop era. Then she ripped off Dita Von Tesse with the whole “glamour” thing and now she is “borowing” Ladiy Gaga’s sound and look. And she was not the first to use the Circus theme( see Madoona “The Girlie Show” and Cher)
why is there always this debate about who stole what from who? i mean, nevermind the fact that christina was the first to record her record, but britney was the first to release it. the two have always been different and will remain different. i love how they are on the forefront of being labeled at style stealers; every artist has been inspired by another artist. every generation of pop artists have moved with what sounds are currently the hottest. dita von teese is not the first woman to do the whole “glamour” thing, she didn’t invent it. the circus theme was not invented by christina or brtiney. and i believe that gwen stefani had her look before both christina and lady gaga. all females bashing other females is the reason why women will never have true equality as men. if you’re a female that can’t stand up and applaud other women for their achievements, then how do you expect men to take any of you truly seriously. and i say this as a female. stop comparing and hating!
but britney looks hot. i hope she’s really ready for this because i don’t think she’s had the time nor the care to take care of the things that are truly making her breakdown. sure her success is great, but it seems that the thing being focused on and now whether she’s truly okay in the head.
