Jimmy Fallon: First Webisode!
Check out the first video blog from upcoming late-night talk show host, Jimmy Fallon.
The 34-year-old gives us a glimpse at his new home in Rockefeller Center: Studio 6B. (It’s across the hall from where Conan O’Brien tapes. It’s where Milton Berle and Jack Paar used to tape. Johnny Carson even broadcast his show there for 10 years before moving to L.A.) Currently, the local NBC news is vacating the studio.
The Roots is Jimmy’s confirmed house band. March 2nd will kick off the first official Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. For a new ep tonight @ 12:30AM, visit LateNightWithJimmyFallon.com.

What an idiot.
SO WHAT ?….WHO CARES ?..AGREE NUMBER # 1 ( BLACK )
I loved Jimmy during his days on SNL, particularly his guitar impressions. It seems like kind of a weird choice for Late Night, as he hasn’t been doing much the last couple of years, but Conan was “just” a writer when he took the gig, and look how successful he’s been.
I absolutely adore The Roots.
What are they doing on this show!!!!!
They are no house band. They’re a full out incredible hip-hop band. I don’t like this move.
I love Jimmy. I wish him luck.. But the roots? Ugh. I don’t think so. I wouldn’t watch just because of them.
Give him a chance! He’s not even on the air yet and the haters are out in full force. I think Jimmy is going to be great in late night. And, The Roots are amazing. Think positive, people, and stop hating.
He’ll be awesome, the ideas look great and it’s a perfect format for Jimmy. The Roots are amazing. Looking good so far.
