Jennifer Aniston opens up about her boyfriend, musician John Mayer, to UK’s The Mirror. Interview highlights:
On the way John thinks: “He’s a rare one. He is extraordinary and it is wonderful to watch him… the way his brain works and the way he thinks thoughts… it’s beautiful.”
On having a thing for the musically inclined: “It’s an amazing thing to watch a musician think. I don’t know many musicians but when his guitar is on him it’s just like a channel. It’s something I’ve never ever seen before.”
On not understanding the continued public interest in her break-up with Brad Pitt: “I’m baffled by it and it makes no sense to me…. Everybody goes through tough times… You’ve just got to figure out how to get through them… It’s my history and my memory. I used to really take things personally. It took me some time to figure this out but if you can be truthful and honest with who you are, then you have a much easier time walking through life.”
On her finances: “I don’t wake up in the morning, stretch my arms and say, ‘Oh, I’m wealthy.’ I just know I’m extremely fortunate and I have the good fortune to take care of my family, to give to causes that matter to me and to contribute in ways not everybody can. I’ve never been someone to have money as my goal. I just wanted to work.”
On having her own kids some day: “I feel it’s in my future and I’m on the verge of it in some way, so it was great to dip the toe in [for Marley & Me]. I want to have children. That’s my plan.”

I am a Jen fan but I am tired of them asking her questions about her relationship and breakup with Brad. No wonder the world can not get over it, that is all they ever care to ask about! I am ready for Jen to go with “no comment” on anything to do with Brad or Angie. Just getting way too tired of it! Jen, please, do not go there anymore. Your fans are over you and Brad and tired of the same darn discussion!
What I ‘don’t understand,’ is the media having selective amnesia and not ONCE coming back at this ugly banal crone that THE REASON WHY she’s portrayed the way she is (reject loser, scorned woman of the century), is her OWN (and her PR flack’s) very calculated doing. Uh, HELLO??? You gave a ‘Tell ALL’ to Vanity Fair in which you besmirched and ridiculed Pitt, casting suspicion, while not accusing (because she knew it would be a lie) him of infidelities - so that everyone had a very CLEAR understanding that HE left YOU, so he must be punished. You further inferred that HE left YOU for someone else. So please punish her too world. THAT, is why she gets the press she does to this day. One presumes she and her agent knew that that is the ONLY thing that would keep her in the press, the perceived ACRIMONY and ‘war,’ and whole ‘choose a side,’ (tagline to her movie with Vaughn) thing she and Huvane have orchestrated. They (press) continues to do it, or maybe they’re just letting her dig herself deeper, by not REMINDING her that hey, SHE talked Brad and put out ‘fightin’ words,’ re Angelina Jolie in her magazine, THAT is why they’re asking you about it. B*tch knew Angelina was gonna sell her magazine, come on. Lastly, she’s once again contradicting herself and coming off a liar again - she told the world she wouldn’t be talking about her relationships or the men in her life, at Gwyneth paltrow’s request - she said, ’she’s right, she’s right!’ That supposedly explained her never commenting on Vaughn til HE dumped her, and now she’s trying to pull and Angelina and extoll this douchebag’s virtues?? You know one person in the world she SHOULD hate for DUMPING her in front of the world, and then telling the world WHY he dumped you. Wow, lady. You are not only homely, no-talented and confused - you are DUMB.
Could this person be any more pathetic?
Aniston is in serious need of a life coach. She’s an unholy mess. I don’t care how many years she claims to have been in therapy. That is one job that is recession proof.

she did not have long term relationship with anyone. she is not going to jump on and get pregnat from someone she knows a couple of weeks ago. she have to be in love to have a baby with someone else. is that all of with human nature do. you fall in love and then have a baby with someone. when she said she plan to have a childern , that does not mean that she going to be pregnant from the man in the street or the man she just start to know, or man that she does not love.

i’m on her side when it comes to the angie/jen fight. i hate angelina (miss i’m above everything and i can be loved and considered as a humanitarian because i adopt orphans and pretend to get 14 million dollars (received for simple babies pix) to humanitarian causes…as long as i won’t see a big change in Africa or in a poor country, i’ll never believe them because SORRY BUT WITH FOURTEEN MILLION DOLLARS YOU COULD CHANGE THE FACE OF ENTIRE AFRICA…pfft i won’t fall for this.) She is not talking about Armpit, she is talking about a man with brain , musician, man, who she is mezmerized and amazed by.
Another thing I wish they would stop asking her about is having kids. Why do they continue to “dwell” on this. Either she will announce one day that she is pregnant or she will never have kids. Who cares?
Brad moved on and had kids, does that automatically mean that Jen has to run out and snatch up a man to have kids with or can she just date and enjoy her peaceful life? Not every woman wants to have children. I hope she does not submit to having kids because of “pressure” and rather let it come into her life under good circumstances. I would love to see her have a child or two but not just because of the pressure she is feeling from the media.

She’s says she she hopes she will have children, that ‘that’s the plan,’ and that she’s ‘on the verge,’ of it - but she doesn’t necessarily say Mayer will have anything to do with it. She’s just saying it because, DUH - she’s 40 years old. Wake up. She said years ago, back in 2005 that she hoped to be on the road to having a family in a year. That was 4 years ago!! She’s stupid because she doesn’t have to even discuss it, that way when it doesn’t happen she isn’t seen as a loser. Does the term reverse psychology mean nothing to this lame?

Lovely concept of life; no hanging on to past experiences, but rather learning from them and moving on. I admire Jennifer for her huge heart and compassionate concern for others. I realize she is a private person, and i am respectful of that as a fan of many. Not everyone has to live their private lives in front of the paps, and i totally agree with Brad in his recent statement where he makes it clear that he hates the paps for hounding him and his g/f Angie. It’s way past time for everyone to grow up, let go, and let these celebs live their lives in peace. Hating for any reason only harms the hater…..amen
