OlderJennifer Aniston: John Mayer is Extraordinary
Jennifer Aniston opens up about her boyfriend, musician John Mayer, to UK’s The Mirror. Interview highlights:
On the way John thinks: “He’s a rare one. He is extraordinary and it is wonderful to watch him… the way his brain works and the way he thinks thoughts… it’s beautiful.”
On having a thing for the musically inclined: “It’s an amazing thing to watch a musician think. I don’t know many musicians but when his guitar is on him it’s just like a channel. It’s something I’ve never ever seen before.”
On not understanding the continued public interest in her break-up with Brad Pitt: “I’m baffled by it and it makes no sense to me…. Everybody goes through tough times… You’ve just got to figure out how to get through them… It’s my history and my memory. I used to really take things personally. It took me some time to figure this out but if you can be truthful and honest with who you are, then you have a much easier time walking through life.”
On her finances: “I don’t wake up in the morning, stretch my arms and say, ‘Oh, I’m wealthy.’ I just know I’m extremely fortunate and I have the good fortune to take care of my family, to give to causes that matter to me and to contribute in ways not everybody can. I’ve never been someone to have money as my goal. I just wanted to work.”
On having her own kids some day: “I feel it’s in my future and I’m on the verge of it in some way, so it was great to dip the toe in [for Marley & Me]. I want to have children. That’s my plan.”

Didn’t john mayer tell his friends before he even met her that he didn’t get the “jen anniston thing” ? sounds like getting it on with her was a some kind of wager he had with himself. My son saw John Mayer live and said he was the most amazing guitar player he has ever heard. He feels the music like a channel running through him. Definitely a gift. I hope he can stay focused on bringing it to life so it is a treat for the audience as well. I love it when the younger generation is inspired by an artists music. It is soothing to the soul, and we can never get to much of that in this world.

now wait a minute, i love john mayer, i always said, why do he insist on dating these unintelligent women? the answer is, because he can. even after all his past behavior, but stupid females even knowing his past, lineup for the heart break, and john never disappoint, as we saw with what he did to jen, but i don’t blame john at all. he has always been honest, rather you liked it or not. he is a talented guy, but his taste in women is another subject.
