Jennifer Aniston: John Mayer is Extraordinary
Jennifer Aniston opens up about her boyfriend, musician John Mayer, to UK’s The Mirror. Interview highlights:
On the way John thinks: “He’s a rare one. He is extraordinary and it is wonderful to watch him… the way his brain works and the way he thinks thoughts… it’s beautiful.”
On having a thing for the musically inclined: “It’s an amazing thing to watch a musician think. I don’t know many musicians but when his guitar is on him it’s just like a channel. It’s something I’ve never ever seen before.”
On not understanding the continued public interest in her break-up with Brad Pitt: “I’m baffled by it and it makes no sense to me…. Everybody goes through tough times… You’ve just got to figure out how to get through them… It’s my history and my memory. I used to really take things personally. It took me some time to figure this out but if you can be truthful and honest with who you are, then you have a much easier time walking through life.”
On her finances: “I don’t wake up in the morning, stretch my arms and say, ‘Oh, I’m wealthy.’ I just know I’m extremely fortunate and I have the good fortune to take care of my family, to give to causes that matter to me and to contribute in ways not everybody can. I’ve never been someone to have money as my goal. I just wanted to work.”
On having her own kids some day: “I feel it’s in my future and I’m on the verge of it in some way, so it was great to dip the toe in [for Marley & Me]. I want to have children. That’s my plan.”

What I don’t understand is how peripheal the X’s paid and unpaid fans are.
People’s personas always surface not matter how many publicists from Hell are trying to lie to the public.
Everyone knows Lopez is a diva, they know Damon is a real salt of the earth guy, they know Brit is fcuked up, they know Paris Hilton is a zero, they know Paul Newman was pure class, they know Redford has real substance, they know Brad Pitt is a nice guy, they know Angelina is a nice woman with a big heart, they know Eastwood is a marvel and I could wax on for pages….
My point is, they KNOW WHO ANISTON IS. They know she cannot really translate the Friends schtick into a big screen career of any merit, they know she is a coat-tailer of Brad and Angie, they know she is coarse (proven by her language lately while promoting a PG film), they know she is all about her physical self, they know she isn’t ‘into charity’…..they know she indulges in drugs, they know she lies, they know she is vindictive and vengeful and highly manipulative.
So the five fans she has ringing her bells cannot, without resorting to pure delusion, change the smarts of the observing public, no matter how hard they try and alter reality.

Excellent post.
This applies in normal life, and not just celebrity life.
You meet people who put up a front, but then their true nature is eventually revealed.

If JA’s fans would only stop and think, they would have to admit that you’re right.
I think she should just count her blessing and concentrate on her bf, and stop, at least try to stop, thinking of the past.
BP has finally SAID what we ALL knew. They fell in love during the making of M&MS. If AJ had walked away, as her critics wanted her to do, he would have followed her.

#170 : no she wasnt with Brian ever, he was initially brought on to diffuse the situation of an obligatory media match up with Owen, until CAA found Mayer. Vince flew to Miami and gave him some advise on dealing with media and the contract started, right before Cannes. Brian was also acting. Another stooge like Sculfor. The whole situation started before Vince. She is waiting until she is married for a real normal relationship and creating a media circus until she is. People think she is sleeping with all these guys …….and it’s all PR fiction for the six cars following her everywhere. She is playing Rachel until she marries someone… and you will have to find out who. They already hate me for posting this stuff, but I feel obliged since I know, and they never did me any favors. Anyway, it all is brought to light in the end and he is by far the most interesting person she has met. He is the real deal, who she should have been with in the first place.

Ugh, is this a cover for Playboy or something?
She’s practically nekkid.
And she KNOWS the names of Brad & Angie’s kids, and makes her usual tasteless jokes using the kids. Sick!
She’s a stalker.

Jennifer Aniston Gets Sassy About John Mayer
Let the rumors about Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer be put to rest – by Aniston herself.
“I am not having his baby. And I have not popped the question,” the actress, 39, tells January’s GQ (on stands Dec. 23) in a sassy interview in which she also pokes fun at her recent swipe at Angelina Jolie.
“The funny thing is, people don’t realize we all go away to The Hamptons on the weekends,” jokes Aniston. “That’d be hysterical: I’ve got Zahara on my hip, and Knox…”
As for her feelings about Mayer, 31, she says, “Honestly, did not know much about him before I met him. I’d heard … you know, uh ‘Your Body’ – that song. But what I can say is that I had no idea what an extraordinary musician he is. And it’s just great to sit and be witness t that. It’s kind of like, Whoa!”
Aniston’s currently working on a film called Pumas, which she calls “sort of a female Wedding Crashers” about two “aspiring cougars.”
“It is so a comment on the sexual double standard, and what’s been ironic is how hard it’s been to get this movie made,” she says. “Studios want it, but they are afraid of Middle America. They’d want to change it; they’re saying, ‘Oh, you can’t do that, people just can’t imagine you…”
It’s part of what she sees as a disturbing problem in Hollywood.
“Look, I think all women on some level just want to rage against the machine,” she says. “There are too many movies out there that don’t empower women, movies in which their only way of being happy is finding a man. And you know, that’s not my favorite theme.”
“There are too many movies out there that don’t empower women, movies in which their only way of being happy is finding a man.
_____________
Hmmm, 3 women-empowering movies come to mind:
-Changeling
-A Mighty Heart
-Lara Croft: Tomb Raider
:-)
I like Jennifer Aniston, she’s beautiful in a girl next door way, and I think Angelina has an exotic beauty. I think each of them are fairly good actors and their movies are entertaining, but in my opinion neither is in the league of for instance Meryl Streep, who is beyond brilliant. Probably not through a lack of talent on their part, but because their celebrity is so huge that it’s hard to imagine them as anyone but Jennifer and Angelina. Actors who have stayed out of the limelight have, in my opinion, a better chance of convincing the audience that they are their character and not merely playing a part.
It is astounding to me that people who do not know these women can become so venemous and say such horrid things about them, depending of course on who’s side they presume themselves to be. I wonder if either Jennifer or Angelina read these comments what they would think of their fans and whether they would even want such people as their fans. Yes Angelina does a lot of good and is a good mother, and yes she’s made some mistakes too. And the same can be said for Jennifer. These are people, like you and me, it’s just that their lives are lived in a spotlight and they earn a lot more money than us. Underneath it all, they are just women (wives, ex wives, mothers, hoping to be mothers, lovers, friends, pet owners, daughters — they have thier good and bad times, their happy and sad times, their losses and their victories). What’s more, they are not perfect human beings that can be categorised as good or bad only, as some fans seem to think. I have seen fans rip into each other on these message boards, attacking each other with a lack of dignity that is astounding, even assuming they are talking to teens and pre-teens and then proceeding to write things that are so vicious no child should be exposed to them — seriously, is that who you are inside, living vicariously through celebrities and assuming you know them, what they think, feel, do, plan, hope and dream, being vicious and sniping at each other like rabid dogs. Pretending to be morally superior while climbing into the deepest gutters to score a point for the side you think you’re on? Surely you can spend your time better focusing on your own life and see these people for who they are, and their interviews in the media for what they are — entertainment. Can you really allow this nonsense to consume your life like this? Aren’t you worried that while you all fight each other in cyberspace over people you don’t even know, you’re missing time making your own, real memories — no wonder the world is full of discord and war — you are all truly sad and empty. Why not focus your energies on positive issues, like your idols have, and try to make a difference in the real world — I imagine it could be much more rewarding than this sewage.
Jennifer CAN”T have kids its obvious
Jennifer Aniston has done some drastic surgeries, I don’t recognize the woman from her early day pictures!
http://www.celebrity-hair-styles-magazine.com/young-jennifer-aniston-hair-styles.html
She was a homely (if not ugly) duckling.
Her array of plastic surgeons did Fantastic jobs on her!!!!
This says it all. All Jennifer ever do is go tanning in the beach. She has a very self-centered and lame life. I’m baffled by people who idolized this selfish bimbo. We should idolize people who does good in our society,a good model for our children. Not a bimbo who does nothing good but be narcissistic,self-centered,and whine about her life.

I want to share the following quotes (of various personalities) to the people who are cynical about Angie’s motive in doing her share in helping others:
“What she has done transcends her physical beauty and really reminds us that it’s what is in the heart, and I really want to commend her for what she’s done in such a serious and thoughtful way.” (Hillary Clinton)
“I don’t know Angelina Jolie, but I admire her work.” (Barack Obama)
“Celebrities are doing the work that journalists are not. We can’t afford to be cynical about that….Can you really strike out against Angie and Bono?…Sure, there’s an opinion backlash. People think they are doing it for some sort of ego trip. But the people who are expressing that opinion? What are they doing?” (Marianne Pearl)
“Angie roughs it. She lives with us in the forest and eats the crickets and the cockroaches the locals eat without thinking twice about it. Whenever I read in magazines about her ‘glorious house in Cambodia,’ I think, What? It’s a shack. I don’t think people believe she has the ability to abandon everything in the West and transpose herself to a situation with malaria and dengue fever and the most extreme poverty. I read about her ‘Hollywood life.’ Well, you can’t live a Hollywood life in this part of Cambodia.” (Stephen Bognar)
“Their participation has been absolutely essential to the mainstreaming of these global issues into American life, which is why I find so ridiculous the cynicism, the pundits who disdain this. They misunderstand how our society works, and they misjudge these people, their leadership. No good deed goes unpunished, and it’s certainly true of this activity. Angelina goes at it with utter honesty, hard work and a deep feeling for the common faith of humanity. There’s no doubt about that or about her love for her children. And yet the amount of chattering that goes on about it is endless and preposterous, in my view” (Jeffrey Sachs)
“OK.Now, your daughter, Angelina Jolie. You know, we checked her out. I don’t know whether you know this or not. Big investigation on her. And we found out she walks the walk, that she gives all the money, millions of dollars and this and that. (Bill O’Reilly talking to Jon Voight)
“What I don’t understand is the media’s criticism (of Jolie’s) involvement in humanitarian aide and why they question her motives and sincerity..It’s like, Who cares? She’s doing a good job and putting so much of her time and money in the causes.” (Tea Leoni)
“These people don’t need additional focus or respect. I’m not that cynical at all. Angelina has given not only her time, but her money to assist people who need it most….In the past, entertainers have usually led selfish and egotistical lives so I like it when I see people like Angelina trying so hard. I think she has raised some awareness and that she has an extremely good heart.” (Mia Farrow)
“Her going to Haiti really helped my foundation. It was in a time where she was still pregnant. Haiti being the most dangerous place in the world, for Angelina Jolie to land there—while pregnant—that’s gangster. We respect that to the T.“ (Wyclef Jean)
“I like them (Angelina & Brad) very much…They’re bright, interested in what’s going on, open to everything, ready to grab everything they can out of life. They’re not wasting a lot of time being movie stars. They’re taking advantage of it to see, listen and learn. “(Leslie Caron)
“I want to congratulate Angelina because it’s been a very long time since I’ve been in this business and I’ve never met a person who has such a good balance between family life, humanitarian efforts, ..and all the extraordinary work that she does in addition to this.” (Dustin Hoffman)
“I think her humanitarian position has just changed the way actresses and people in the industry think about what they can actually do … to help the world,” (Marc Bauer)
“Angelina Jolie…just seeing an actress who has been through it all and who doesn’t care what other people say about her — someone who has forged her own path.” (Olivia Wilde)
points of references she uses to describe her relationship with John Mayer..
does she say of how they are both deeply in love and plan to have kids and get married?
nope she says -”Love just happens”
Guess what “s*** happens”
she compares her relationship with whose?
pual newman and Joanne woodward?
Nicole and Keiths
Reese and Jakes…
no she compares it to David copperfield and Claudia schieffer…a relationship that turned out to be a mockery and one that Claudia says she wish she could wash off her skin.
this is the deepness of Jens intellect.
She curse rather than answer the question about John and then she dismisses Oprah when confronted with her attack on angelina.
I hope John Mayer is good to Jen as she is a daughter too.
