Reed Kelly: Clay Aiken’s New Boyfriend!

Who cares about who’s dating who.We all need to mind & take care of our own business & stop meddling in other peoples affairs.Some people like to keep things stirred up. Iguess they think that makes them look good, but to me it’s so assinine.Stop sticking your nose where it doesn’t belong.

I’ll admit as a longtime CLAY supporter since ‘AI2′, I kind of hoped against hope that he was not gay or was at least bi, although I always kind of ‘knew’ the rumors were based on reality. OH WELL, I still like him although I think his career has been mismanaged and this Broadway and coming out is kind of his saying adeiu to trying to be a mainstream singing star, as many people just weren’t ‘in’ to him and wouldn’t give him a chance. I also feel that RUBEN never really wanted to have a big career and never put his full effort into in, as he is a shy guy who just happened to show up there to the auditions as a sort of bodyguard for his groupmate gal, ( just as CLAY didn’t really want to try out for ‘AI’, he prefered ‘AMAZING RACE’, and wanted to try that actually ). I think they really blew the whole RUBEN/CLAY comedy team duo thing they could have had a much more lucrative run with for a good while there. Instead, they went off on their own tangents and now are forgotten in part because there have been TOO MANY ‘Idol’ stars come and go since then that the cache that went with it originally has kind of petered out. I agree with CLAY who says the show has ‘lost it’s innocence’ and they should NEVER have these ‘ringers’ and folks who already went for the ‘golden ring’ of a recording contract and are stuck on there like they are ‘newbies’, BOO! Don’t vote anymore for people who have ‘been there, done that’! IF you watch and call in, make it for the ‘BOY NEXT DOOR, GIRL NEXT DOOR’ that are still wet behind the ears and untrained, or rather, unpracticed in the BUSINESS. Also, they shouldn’t have had the age limit raised beyond 25, as that makes the high school kid go against the seasoned, jaded person pushing 30! Don’t vote for the older ones either. Well anyways, back from my tangent, CLAY will always have a special place in my heart, as his season of ‘IDOL’ was so great and everyone on it had such charisma and chemistry and it was the first ‘REALITY’ show I watched loyally, and was such a big deal that it just ain’t anymore. As much as we gals will try to say our love will be the same for him, there just is something different when you think that your ardor MIGHT be returned and when you KNOW it won’t. I KNOW that is always a silly pipe dream for 99% of someone’s fans, but it is an ESSENTIAL fantasy that has to go on in a girl’s mind for the overwhelming ‘idolization’ to happen. And we all know, ladies buy MOST of the records, although the business is not what it used to be now with all the downloads and that junk.
