OlderAngelina Jolie: Honored By Golden Globe Nomination
Angelina Jolie was just nominated for a Golden Globe in the category of Best Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in the Clint Eastwood-directed film The Changeling.
Jolie told ET, “I am honored to be nominated by the Hollywood Foreign Press in a category with so many extraordinary women. What an amazing experience, having the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood on a film I care so deeply about.”
The 33-year-old actress is up against Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married), Meryl Streep (Doubt), Kristin Scott Thomas (I’ve Loved You So Long) and Kate Winslet (Revolutionary Road).
UPDATE: Brad Pitt was nominated for Best Actor his title role in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. His reaction statement: “I am pleased to be nominated for this award and would like to also congratulate David, Eric and Alexandre on their nominations. We’re all very proud of the film and thankful to the Hollywood Foreign Press for recognizing our work.”

I think these two are sooooooooooooooooofake. The only reason why he is helping New Orleans is to take the attention off, because he is a cheater. He is doing a good job on Katrina but he is doing because someone told him so. And for Angie I feel sorry for those kids becaue she had them. So she can keep Brad on her side. If Jen or Angie were not going to give him the kids someone else was going to do it. The only good thinh about this all drama is that he is helping to promote awareness on helping people. They get to much attention there are thousand of people that are doing the same thing. I would like to see their tax return at the end of the year to see how much they get back in doing all these charitable work. Remember nothing is for free and certainly these two are not doing it for free.

Cnn just popped up. They now believe little Caylee Anthony’s scull was picked up by a hydro worker who picked up a plastic bag when the scull fell to the ground.
How sad. they have informed the grandparents don’t know about her mother who is up for her murder but sadly the remains were found very close to the Anthonys home .
I like everyone else was hoping Caylee would come home alive but the hope slipped awhile ago. Even so i truly hope they can put closure to this maddening case.
Very sad.

It’s the performance that gets them nominated. You have to be able to separate your feelings toward the person and evaluate her work fairly. She is very good in Changeling. If you have not seen the movie, then you should see it. You are missing out a good movie. I like to see good movies, regardless of who starts in it, and I hope the HW continue to make movies like Changeling.
