OlderAngelina Jolie: Honored By Golden Globe Nomination
Angelina Jolie was just nominated for a Golden Globe in the category of Best Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in the Clint Eastwood-directed film The Changeling.
Jolie told ET, “I am honored to be nominated by the Hollywood Foreign Press in a category with so many extraordinary women. What an amazing experience, having the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood on a film I care so deeply about.”
The 33-year-old actress is up against Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married), Meryl Streep (Doubt), Kristin Scott Thomas (I’ve Loved You So Long) and Kate Winslet (Revolutionary Road).
UPDATE: Brad Pitt was nominated for Best Actor his title role in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. His reaction statement: “I am pleased to be nominated for this award and would like to also congratulate David, Eric and Alexandre on their nominations. We’re all very proud of the film and thankful to the Hollywood Foreign Press for recognizing our work.”

Re X, not sure if it’s a total meltdown (a la Britney) that the ugly old wh*re is heading for, but to make remarks of that sort re Mariah, whom I’m sure is not her friend, is totally uncalled for.
I’m still so angry about her calling Knox and Zahara’s names to give her coattail riding more viability, as if she were their aunt or good family friend. She can’t accept the fact that she has absolutely no relevancy in Brad’s world anymore, and never will.
X may be quite proud of her photoshopped nekkid pix but I do declare that even with all the wonderful advances man has made in science and technology, nothing can be done to help that ugly face of hers.

This is why she appears nud.e on the cover of the new GQ and speaks more in-depth about Brad Pitt than ever before. No one will ever notice! However, Pitt is not the only source of uncoolitude in her life, as Aniston also has some icy language for Angelina Jolie:
Jennifer called stories related to herself, Brad and Angelina the “insane Bermuda Triangle.”
And later, she admitted she does not speak to Angelina.

Jennifer hinted that future conversations might be a bridge the two won’t be crossing any time soon either.

I saw Changling and liked it very much. It’s a testament to her acting that I didn’t spend the time watching the movie thinking, “that’s Angelina’.
She IS a good actress. The fact is that many people get caught up in her physical appearance. Although some people try to pigeon- hole her in the Action Movie genre, she takes roles that she personally find satisfying. Some complain that only her Action movies are blockbusters. Those movies are geared to be blockbusters for men as well as women. Serious actors and directors want to do more. That’s why you find some of the most respected people in Hollywood doing these period pieces and serious dramas. We all have our preferences of what we like to watch, but talent is talent, the vehicle doesn’t matter much. .
