Her Mariah comment was really tacky. At rate at how she is going she might be next

++++++++++++++++

What I want to know is how is her current behavior “empowering women”? Women can already be great big btiches without X’s assistance. We’ve got that part down. We don’t need X showing us by example.

Ooops I was rushing. Sorry 4 typos.

How do mom and dad get a minute alone? “Mom and dad are creative,” Brad said with a grin. Then he said with a laugh, “There are some dry spells. There are a few moments in the desert but mom and dad get very creative and we’re good. We have our ways.”

How Angie made me love Brad again
by Patricia Martinez

Such was the case earlier this week when Angelina Jolie, also known as Brad Pitt’s significant other, said something that made me love Brad all over again. I had lost that lovin’ feeling for Mr. Pitt because it appeared that he had not only given up his man card when he hooked up with the delicious Miss Jolie, but had handed it over to Angie and let her shred it with her perfect hands. I mean really Brad, Angie should have changed her name to Lorena Bobbit for all the damage she did.

But it was Angie who opened my heart to Brad once again when she said that she is lucky enough to be with a man who looks at her body and loves it for the journey that it has gone through.

Que sweet!

In case you live under a rock, Angie has given birth to three children in the space of a little over two years. I don’t care if she did descend from Mount Olympus, as is rumored to be the case, that is hell on any woman’s body. I assume that being named the most beautiful woman in the history of everything is no shield from feeling a little self conscious about a post-three-babies-in-less-than-three-years body. I could be wrong, of course. Maybe she is perfectly comfortable with her PTBILTTYB. But I think not, otherwise, why would she tell the world that her significant other loves her body for the journey it has gone through? That is the kind of thing someone tells you when your body shows the stress of being PTBILTTYB.

Ok, I can see the ref throwing a flag from here. You guys out there might say that Brad didn’t show any change in his man card status, and maybe even threw gas and lit a match on the remains when he said that about Angie, but I beg to differ. Guys, we know that you all fantasize about Victoria’s Secret models - who doesn’t? A perfect set of um, legs? is always going to turn heads, but a woman who can look fantastic after birthing your babies is a wonder to behold. I mean, take a look in the mirror at your naked beer belly and tell us that’s attractive. And the only thing you give birth to is going to end up in the sewer. I’m just sayin’.

There’s only one thing more attractive to a woman than a man who appreciates, and I mean appreciates, not just tolerates, the naked body in bed next to him. That’s a man who isn’t afraid to say it. Now, you don’t necessarily have to take out an ad to let the world know that your woman’s less than camera ready body still gets you hot - it’s probably wise not to publicize the fact that she’s not camera ready, no need to open that can of worms - just tell your woman. Or better yet, show her. Don’t say anything about her stubbly legs or squishy belly the next time you guys are, well, don’t say anything about those things any time.

And we promise not to throw wet towels on you when you’re laying in bed and tell you to swim for the open ocean.

Checking my posts. Hey bdj* hello my dear. BBl Neleh.

The Changling sucked.

Now this is FEMALE EMPOWERMENT

My favorite male and female performance of the year are contained within this list. And proving again that this has been an uneven awards season, an animated dog moved me more than a grumpy old nun.

Changeling (Universal Pictures)
The greatest achievement of this movie is that director Clint Eastwood has done the seemingly impossible and made Angelina Jolie seem like a regular human being. Action heroes or impossible sex toys (or, in her Oscar-winning role, a trite “crazy” person) – that’s Jolie on screen, but here her 1920s mom is reserved and emotional. For a while, I thought Changeling was going to improve on Mystic River, telling a true-crime story with such attention to detail to the crime and the period that it becomes an almost unconscious commentary on sexism and government corruption that transcends eras. Plus, as obvious it is, Changeling’s fight-the-power tendencies really work – you’re actually cheering Jolie on to defeat the male power figures around her, and her principled stand against these crooked cops is rousing in all the right ways. But eventually, the film suffers from ending overkill – there are several legitimate stopping points for this movie, but Eastwood, perhaps to tell the full true story, just keeps on going. This one is kinda like his Flags of Our Fathers – expertly made, slightly dry, impressive enough, not a game-changer. I preferred it to Gran Torino, though.

Congrats to BP and AJ

It’s a good morning in the Brangelina household.

Angelina Jolie was nominated for a Golden Globe on Thursday for best actress in a drama for her role as a devoted mother trying to find her missing son in “Changeling.” Meanwhile, her significant other, Brad Pitt, was nominated in the category of best actor in a drama for his portrayal of a man who grows younger as he ages in the fable, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”

“Benjamin Button,” which opens Christmas Day, also received nominations for best film drama, best director for David Fincher, best screenplay for Eric Roth, and best score for Alexandre Desplat.

Angelina Jolie, ‘Changeling’
Eastwood’s new leading lady shows grit
By IAIN BLAIR

As a superstar actress, the tattooed Oscar winner (”Girl, Interrupted”) has always had fun tweaking conventional ideas about roles and identity — and people’s expectations of her.

That helps explain how the 33-year-old mother of six and staunch human rights advocate can seamlessly slip from playing the ultraviolent assassin of the summer hit “Wanted” into the heartbreaking role of “Changeling’s” Christine Collins, a single parent whose 9-year-old son vanishes into thin air in 1920s L.A.

Based on a true story, the Clint Eastwood-directed film also examines the nature of identity — the police insist that a runaway found in Illinois is her son, although he’s three inches shorter — and the role of the distraught mother proved to be a perfect fit for Jolie. Oscar-winning producer Brian Grazer approached Jolie “very early on, and once Clint was interested, I called her and that’s all I had to say,” he recalls. “She just said, ‘Let’s go.’ She was extremely enthusiastic. It wasn’t any gigantic producing skill on my part.

“It’s a tour de force for an actress, and many actresses wanted the part, because it’s appealing on so many levels,” he adds. “We spoke to Angie first, and she’s the one we wanted, because she has it all. She has credibility, intensity and evokes empathy, and that’s what you need in this character. She’s also very attractive and appealing, and that matters, because what’s going on in the film is so horrific.

“It’s such a tragedy and such a brutal role that in order for an audience to get through it, you not only have to have tremendous screen impact and presence, you have to have that sexual or female appeal, and Angie has all that.”

Once shooting began, Grazer was immediately “very impressed” by Jolie’s on-set demeanor.

“She’s enormously committed and dedicated, both as an actress and a mother,” he notes, “and so this project was right in the nexus of what is primordial to a woman — her relationship with her child. So the protection she’d naturally offer her kids in real life, coupled with her critical awareness of her own childhood and introspective observations of that, all contributed to her personal interest in the role. I marveled at her ability to connect with this character.”

‘Benjamin Button’ premieres in L.A.
Brad Pitt film event benefits Film Foundation
By BILL HIGGINS

HOLLYWOOD — Par went the classy route when it launched “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” with a stunning black-tie preem Monday at the Village Theater.

Asked why the black-tie, topper Brad Grey said: “It’s always good to see Brad Pitt in a tux.”

Also adding to the classiness (and the bygones-be-bygones aspect), pre-screening Grey intro’d DreamWorks’ Steven Spielberg, who thanked Par for letting the preem be a benefit for the Film Foundation.

After-party was in a translucent tent near CAA’s Century City offices. At the bash, producer Kathleen Kennedy spoke of pic’s helmer David Fincher. “This film is a game changer for David,” she said. “He’s going to be thought of differently from here on out.” Producer Frank Marshall described the pic as “a magical fable told in the most unconventional way.” And Par prexy John Lesher said, “you have to wait until all the elements come together perfectly to do a film like this.

HI Neleh. :) I’m very happy for Brad and Angie, the Golden Globes is my favorite award show. I like it better than the Oscars. Although I’m sure I’ll be watching the Oscars this year if either Brad or Angie (hopefully both) is nominated.

How funny will it be that , Brad P is NOT going to get nominated in GG while Angie J will.

Brad P wasn’t nominated in BA which usually shows GG’s nomination while everyone else in the movie was nominated . Angie Jo was nominated.

I will have my last laugh tomorrow. Good night losers.

Go Brad and Angie! I hope that you both win. As for Jennifer Aniston,
when all else fails, she can always get naked.

I’ve been trying to remember where I’ve seen Angie look just like she did on the RC for BB, with her hair pulled back.
Now I remember - it’s in the movie with Denzel Washington, at the end of the movie, at a Christmas(?) party.
If you have the DVD, have a look. She looks exactly like that!

Yep, Brad hanging jowls pitt and Caa stronger than ever. That’s what hanging jowls RS interview was about. I bet Angelina was starting to get suspicious so hanging Jowls quickly did an interview to show he can man up to keep her. only when it benefits him and only him.

next interview should ask Angelina if she would have thought twice before getting with brad hanging jowls pitt if she knew what she knows now. I’m sure the answer would be sweet but in reality it would be a big fkcing HELL NO LoL

Thanks. I think I may tune it. I’m dying to know if X shows up nekkid. After all…everything else she’s done to promote this flick has been an excuse to get nekkid. Why not the premiere?

Nahhhhhhh….who am I kidding. That’s after my dinner time and would make me heave up a perfectly decent meal…but…it’s before my bedtime…and would give me nightmares…
