OlderAngelina Jolie: Honored By Golden Globe Nomination
Angelina Jolie was just nominated for a Golden Globe in the category of Best Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in the Clint Eastwood-directed film The Changeling.
Jolie told ET, “I am honored to be nominated by the Hollywood Foreign Press in a category with so many extraordinary women. What an amazing experience, having the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood on a film I care so deeply about.”
The 33-year-old actress is up against Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married), Meryl Streep (Doubt), Kristin Scott Thomas (I’ve Loved You So Long) and Kate Winslet (Revolutionary Road).
UPDATE: Brad Pitt was nominated for Best Actor his title role in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. His reaction statement: “I am pleased to be nominated for this award and would like to also congratulate David, Eric and Alexandre on their nominations. We’re all very proud of the film and thankful to the Hollywood Foreign Press for recognizing our work.”

Jennifer Aniston On Playboy….I Mean…GQ Magazine
Rachel Green!!! Put on some clothes, woman! Wearing the tie does not make it classy! Save that fuckery for your Match.com ad! I feel like an overprotective mommy who just wants to throw a trench coat on Jenny’s ass and take her to get an ice cream float so that I can talk her about the dangers of famewhoring. I would expect this from a twatty like Miley Cyrus, but Aniston? And she really should have worn that tie over her mouth, because she’s still talking about you….know….who….
Of course, she was asked about “them.” Jenny called it the “insane Bermuda Triangle.” The writer of the article, Mark Kirby, brought Angie Jo’s interview from October of this year where she said she hoped her kids would watch Mr. & Mrs. Smith so they can see where their parents fell in love.
Unfortunately, Jenny didn’t throw her Diet Coke on Mark and scream, “Shut the **** up about that homewrecking *****!” Instead, she said, “Well, you know, that was definitely a confirmation for me of something that wasn’t quite confirmed at the time. But listen… You sit there and you… No. No daggers through the heart. I laugh. Am I surprised? Well, how do I say this?… Considering the source, nothing surprises me.”
By “the source” she means Maddox, because it’s well known that he feeds Angie Jo all her lines during interviews. He really knows how to make it burn.
When Mark asked more about the whole Brangafuckinglina situation, Jenny finally cracked a joke instead of answering it seriously. “The funny thing is that people don’t realize we all go away to the Hamptons on the weekends. No. Can you imagine? That’d be hysterical: I’ve got Zahara on my hip, and Knox…”
She needs to do more of this. Either say “STFU about that” or make some kind of joke. However, the joke would have been better if she said she goes shooting and dagger throwing with Maddox and the other deities every weekend. Instead of shooting cans, they shoot Rachel Green cardboard cutouts.

The robot star of “WALL-E” will roll the red carpet at the Golden Globes, now that the Disney/Pixar animated film secured nominations for animated feature and original song.
That likely means rubbing elbows — are those technically elbows? — with this awards season’s hottest celebs, including Brad Pitt, who’d do well to avoid a red-carpet throwdown with the little ‘bot, “WALL-E” director Andrew Stanton joked Thursday.
“Well, you know, Brad would look better after the fight,” he said. “But WALL-E is pretty sturdy. He’s lasted 700 years. So, there’s longevity there.”

With all this hype re the Dog movie and Changeling and TCCOBB, my brain feels like a ham radio……you just settle into a thought process and there’s yet another interview with Sappy spewing off at the mouth like a scorned cheerleader who didn’t get the quarterback and never regrouped.
It is so apparent to anyone with a single digit IQ that X is obsessed with AJ. She caught the big fish and had the trillion dollar wedding..imagine how many kids that would have fed in the third world……..but I digress……….next to her hair, Brad was her biggest prop.
She really thought she ‘had’ him and he would come crawling back…….but she got that wrong to say the least and she is just hating on the fact that he didn’t and she is immature enough to make it about someone else. Isn’t it always about ourselves?? Didn’t two decades of therapy teach her that basic philosophical prinicple??? She wasn’t listening.
We should have all been wise to her when she made the 2% statement about her blame factor in the breakup of her marriage. My gawd, any grown-up will take their share and move on. But she can’t..it’s not about love and loss, it’s about whom she lost him too. An upgrade. The prettier girl in school.
AJ and BP have outclassed the old relationship thereby rendering it almost moot and when you have so much stock in who your arm candy is as she did, being the superficial, HW thing she is, that rage will burn for life.
Any controls for PR reasons she had on it, are just coming unglued. She is just teeming with bitterness and it is seeping out of her pores.
If they had a really good marriage and she was a great wife and they had a family and she really was soulful and loving, I would feel her pain at that loss………but that was not the case. She dropped the ball. He was patient. She was arrogant in thinking he was too honourable to pack it in. But even nice guys can only take so much.
Seeing her personality unfold as it is now, it is utterly amazing to me that Pitt married her and stayed as long as he did. Instead of ‘learning’ something and growing from this in order to create a better relationship next time, she has chosen, the new soul that she is, to wallow in anger and bitterness, stunting her growth.
For her to use the word ‘empowerment for women’ in conjunction with discussing a ‘cougar movie’ and a nude cover must make Friedan roll over in her grave and G. Steinam throw up dinner. And I as a woman of the ‘movement’ am disgusted and outraged and wish to hell no one asked her another question as long as she lives.
CONGRAGTULATIONS TO JENNIFER ANISTON on outing this two conniving people who keep on deceiving the public with their false image, or better said an image created by the media. Angelina and Brad use their adopted children and their charity donations to get the media and the public to watch their movies and to keep them interested in their private life by providing them with family stories delivered in small installments at a time. At first, like most people, I was fooled, but after seeing who they operate and how they kept on humiliating Jennifer Aniston on their ridiculous interviews in which they talk about their love, and how Angelina was persuaded by Brad Pit to become her uterus, I changed my mind. I am very dissappointed, but on the other hand I am happy that Jennifer Aniston decided to talk. People need to stop critizicing her for posing for GQ. We are in 2008, not 1888, so beautiful celebrities like are entitled to pose for any magazine they want, with or without clothes. Either way she looks Amazing.

She deserves accolades. Her acting has gotten better. I really wish the scripts she gets continue to get better. That Edwin A.Salt seems so ho hum…..Congrats anyhoo.
