Kate Walsh: Divorce After 15 Months
Private Practice star Kate Walsh’s movie exec husband Alex Young has filed for divorce from the actress, reports ET.
The date of separation is listed as November 22, 2008, just before the Thanksgiving holiday. According to the filing papers, Alex cited irreconcilable differences.
Kate and Alex married in September of 2007.
Something crazy must have happened between November 9 and 29 as the couple looked quite happy together in Las Vegas!
UPDATE: Kate’s reps tells JustJared.com, “Papers have been filed to amicably end the marriage of executive Alex Young, and actress Kate Walsh. The couple remain on friendly terms and sincerely hope the media will respect their privacy during this difficult time.”

Oh Kitty Kat! I know she will come thru it. 100% support for her. At least they didn’t have children who would suffer from that.

You see to me, if I hear bad stuff from people (who have proof) who are in the business, that automatically lowers my support towards them. Because if an actor truly is a monster to his fans, I really don’t want to support him and give him my money :(
Oh man, that’s really sad. They were such a cute couple. I wish Kate enough strength to get through this tough time.
This is really sad. The only thing I can say right now is obviously they have their own personal reasons for ending their marriage, and I support her 100%.
I am so surprised this marriage didn’t last till the end of PP. He obviously married here for his half of the TV money. She must have figured it out. Good for her.

Yeah and Kate was engaged for a long time to John Dennis, a man my mom knows, my mom tells me he’s sort of a jerk. He left his wife and they have two daughters. So much for Minnesota Nice. But anyways she has only played lesbian parts we all know she isn’t lesbian.

Aww, Kate. I’m sure she’s doing fine; the recent pictures show her smiling and going about her business as normal. I hope she gets through all of this okay without a lot of media coverage and rumors and whatnot. She’s amazing.
