My motive are defending people who can’t defend themselves, #61. And how do they pimp her out to the paparazzi? How does pimping her help their career? It doesn’t make any sense.

She’s 2, mothers and their children go shopping ALL THE TIME, there wasn’t exactly a flood warning and that kid HAS to go outside sometimes despite their being paparazzi, #68.

How do you know ANY of those personal details about the Cruise’s life? And when should she go outside? How could possibly know any of those things about Holmes without knowing her?

It IS the paparazzi’s fault for stalking kids who are only famous by association of their famous families, #73.

TomKat should be allowed to do anything with their daughter whenever and wherever they like without harassment. Suri Cruise SHOULD and HAS to be taken outside and should not suffer harassment.

Suri Cruise is only ever seen in public, like any other kid-famous or not, doing regular things like going to parks and stores and walking to and from places but because she’s famous she’s expectedly photographed.

Cruise is one of the few celebrities that doesn’t whine about the paparazzi. I think her knows that they’re a part of life being that he’s famous and all. I just wish (and likely he does to), that kids of celebrities would be left alone.

So because Holmes was playing with her daughter for a moment with the new doll she bought before they stepped into a car, they were pimping her, #75???

I have to agree with Sarah #72. Although I haven’t met Cruise, I’ve worked in the industry and still meet up with friends for drinks that are crew (gaffers, lighting, electricians etc) and staff that are still working in movies. When I ask the question “who are your favorite actors that you have worked with” believe me Tom Cruise is never mentioned. Brad Pitt, Clooney (folks love him), Jolie, Kidman, are always mentioned. Why? They are always prepared, they get to know the crew, they show up on time and don’t waste anyone else’s time being a prima dona. One person (drunk or else he never would have been so indiscreet) said Cruise was a nightmare to work with. Giant ego. Pushing Scientology. Surrounded by pushy scientologists. Ego needs constant attention.
As Sarah said. Folks in the industry if they want to remain employed are always going to give you empty platitudes in public about the actors they work with. Don’t believe everything you read about any actor. There is public persona and private. And most of us would not like the private persona of many of these people. You included.

I always run into people who know someone knows someone in the biz like #79… Like clockwork…. After DECADES of working in the industry, the HUNDREDS of people who’ve met him on and off sets would have squealed enough to suggest an ego-driven reputation.

I’m not raving mad just because I disagree with you, #80. Of course I watch that video and I saw Holmes taking her daughter’s new doll out for a second before getting into their car. As if a little kid never wanted to try out some new toy before hopping back inside a car or bus or train or whatever. All you did was infer some crazy PR explanation. What’s mad is inserting a PR motive for every single thing they do.

I find it hilarious that on these threads and others that people say that TomKat are PR geniuses who know how to manipulate the media yet…all I ever see are posts accusing them of every little thing they do as a PR stunt and people picking it apart.

99.9 % of all shots, #82? Critics… Only they’d find something wrong with a celebrity who never hypocritically whines about paparazzi intrusion (not over-intrusion which I hate myself) who compliments the nice pictures of his daughter that he isn’t directly inviting anyone to see. Christina Aguilera is holding her son on another thread and toy shopping. People are everywhere watching them, and not one person commented on ” pimping out her child “. They did not even bash her for carrying him. So, what is the difference between her and Katie? Photographers were everywhere, even inside the store, it said on another site. But, no remarks were made about ” staging ” or ” photo op “.
Obviously, Katie will always be hated and bashed no matter what she does! It is just being HER, that everyone hates!
To Number # 94 !!! I side with you on the haters who say Suri is a brat and a fake. That is the most ridiculous comment I have ever read. Just how do these people know? How can a 2.5 year be ” fake “? Immature and ignorant statement. Some of these childish comments are just an every day occurrence for the Cruises. BUT, you let other celebrities do the exact same thing, and they are wonderful, caring and doting parents, who take their children everywhere, instead of leaving them at home with the nanny. Katie takes Suri out for an afternoon, so she can spend time with her, and she is a media ***** and a pimp right away. No wonder she looks strained and exhausted and sometimes very sad.
