Top Chef’s Sam Talbot: Married Man!

Top Chef season 2 finalist Sam Talbot, 30, and his Colombian model and T-shirt designer girlfriend, Paola Guerrero, also 30, got hitched at New York City Hall this week a friend of the chef tells Life & Style.

The couple met in Brazil last December and announced their engagement in July.

Congrats to the happy couple!

The fifth season of Top Chef is currently on the air. A new episode (”12 Days of Christmas”) airs this Thursday, Dec 18 on Bravo.

A year is a decent amount of time. Maybe if you are 22, you can wait for a few years, but once 30 hits most people aren’t going to wait multiple years to get married.

I won’t be coming back to this probably, but commenting about a year? That’s all you’re all worried about.

Some people meet and they just KNOW.
Some people don’t.
Some people are together for 5 years have 2 kids and still hate each other and then get married (AKA my husband’s sister) and they still hate each other.

Marriage isn’t the same for everyone.

Time dating doesn’t necessarily determine a marriage’s success. My parents met, were engaged within two weeks, and married in two months. They’ve been happily married for 28 years.
