I can’t wait to watch this film. It sounds like a great film and I’m sure an Oscar contender.

2008 proves to be a good year for the Jolie-Pitts. I’m sure 2009 will be even better! Those who unselfishly help others less fortunate always reap the rewards from above.

Brad is definitely getting his Oscar and Golden Globe best actor awards next year. Brad and Angie are both going to the Oscars and I am excited thinking about them walking the red carpet. I hope that tool “Ryan Seacrest” doesn’t ask too many stupid questions.

Just finished watching the 3 hour DVD of Benjamin Button, sent to us for the pre-oscar consideration. The movie: cinematography is beautifully rich and warm throughout, makes you want to live in New Orleans, and the music, costume and design all blend perfectly together. The characters are all tied and connected throughout their life history, like an epic, and the viewers grow with them. The movie as a whole feels like a serene love story about life and Brad & Cate, think Titanic without the tragedy & action.
Brad’s character is very wise and monotone throughout, while Cate and Tilda add more flavor and color while dancing around Benjamin (I love Tilda). Does Brad deserve an Oscar for his role in the movie? The judges may pass on the aging baby for the sake of rewarding the more serious male lead (Frost/Nixon maybe). I wish the director would have given Brad more room for character development, making him more human…. At times, he feels disconnected, no tears even… sigh…
Benjamin Button is a very feel-good movie, especially for the holidays, and I would watch it again with the whole family.
Having seen The Changeling last week on DVD, also for pre-oscar consideration, I think Angie has a much better chance of winning the Globe or the Oscar than Brad. Regardless, both movies were very fresh and well done.

I’m sure the film is great and I’d really like to see it…I just think it’s so pathetic how Jared was so obviously paid to jam it down our throats. About looks. Hugh Jackman is playing a muscled up Wolverine plus the Harlequin (sp) type character in Australia. My friend who saw the film said HJ tight pants were the best part of the movie. Brad is playing a hick West Virginia Sergent in a military movie. One of the best things in Brad’s career at this point is that he is playing all these different characters. I think he is loving it and certainly his work is being respected by the industry. Let’s hope Mr Jackman gets the chance to stretch. The horror of it all when you start whining “What happen to Hugh” LOL. Now with that said the suit Brad is wearing is ugly.

OMG Clinq I tried to explain this fact to someone on another site. Aniston self esteem is tied up in her looks. Sadly I think alot young women and some men also feel the same which is why the relate her. everything, and even though these guys have gotten away with plenty because they are who they are, they may no longer be who they were.

So there may be careers dangling on some very dubious movies that will be coming out between now and the end of the year. When the smoke clears, Robert Pattison (”Twilight”) or Lucas Grabeel (”High School Musical 3″) may be the new king of Hollywood.

What’s he done? “Thelma & Louise,” “Se7en,” “Twelve Monkeys,” “Fight Club,” “Ocean’s Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen,” “Babel.” Need we go on?

What’s he done wrong? Cheated on Jennifer Aniston. He’s made a few dumb career choices, too. Potboilers like “The Mexican,” “Troy” and “Spy Game” made what they did because he was in them; “Babel” and “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford” were art films, and the Coen brothers’ “Burn After Reading” might have shown a nervy willingness for Brad Pitt to play against his image, but it did jack for his marketability. Pitt is not getting good reviews. Though it may just be because him and Jolie exposed themselves as complete liars and hypocrites.

As Benjamin, whose heavily symbolic malady has something to do with a supernatural clock designed by a grieving father to move in reverse, he gives you no hint what his character makes of the changes. I have to agree with the review. I watched the movie (for Oscar consideration) last night and as beautiful as the film, there was a limitation to Benjamin’s character that otherwise could have been layered with multiple dimension and complexity. It is a feel good movie for sure and highly likable. This film will do well, both in theaters and DVD. Cate and Tilda’s solid performances shapes the movie also.

I personally don’t know how the academy works - it’s probably operated differently at different times. I know for instance, they said the year Paltrow won in 1999, Weinstein & Miramax bought it outright for her and everyone knows it. maybe the deathstar (CAA) has a stranglehold on members, and wields influence now. Who knows?

Maybe some powerful PR agencies are out to prove that unless you do have an agent who will bribe members and manipulate media, you won’t get a nod. If so, prepare to watch the Academy go up in flames, and it’s credibility be nil for years to come. If people didn’t watch last year, this year will really be a wash.

Today, many film buffs and industry experts are already saying it’s a new day - that it’s less about HW awards shows these days anyway (which more and more resemble the kind of ‘pay for play’ politics that should adhere by campaign financing rules, lol) and more about film festivals and world/global critics. In which case Brad and Angelina have already won their fair share of acclaim in that arena. Angelina perhaps acquired her Oscar as fair and square as you could get - as she had no agent, or big studio backing her then either.

There have been many miscarriages of justice through the years re Oscar (Paul Newman having to wait til he was damn near 70 to get an Oscar for instance) — Ingrid Bergman being drummed out of HW and blacklisted for her romantic personal relationships…Brando being blacklisted for sending an American Indian to retrieve his Oscar in the 70s. So there could be some of that at play this year…I would hope not, but you never know.

The point is, if one or both are snubbed this year (particularly Angelina), it will be even more blatant and obvious than in the previous year - and it will only make the Academy look even worse than it did last year with their Miley Cyrus Jessica Alba show that could have doubled for the People’s Choice awards that no one watched - and no one watched because of their loss of credibility in presentation and selection.

AWFUL LOOKING MOVIE - just saw a sneak peek of the Wilson/Aniston dog movie, where they had a quickie interview with Wilson and Aniston interspersed with a clip. Wilson was literate, Aniston was not - as usual. The clip was god awful boring. It looked like a TV movie of the week, or worse. Seriously, if that’s the best they could come up with for an HBO promo, then this sucks so much ass as to not be believed. It’s apparent now why Aniston may be talking so much Brad & Angie in her promotions, she is desperate - she has to go all out. This movie on it’s own merits isn’t gonna get it for her. It’s clear they needed something else to put butts in seats besides people actually being interested in her talents or the movies theme - so kicking the ‘team,’ thing into high gear must have been part of the plan all alone. Sad and desperation marketing, indeed.

If Maniston had 2 small kids (or even just one) with Brad like Debbie Reynolds had with Fisher and he left her for Angelina, I would have been Team Maniston already. For her to keep whining and dragging their names in her interviews, she just proves her lack of dignity. I bet you she learnt from the recent backlash and won’t whine on her promo tours this time.

Gos brangelina are so annoying! Do they never get sick of making headlines? they talk about giving up acting to be with their kids but they seem to have made more movies since they were together than before. You know, coz I read Brad got motorbike, camera, or even a private tour to architect in Germany for his birthday present. Well…all of these gifts are rumors - including the watch. I posted the story cuz…well…I liked the watch! LOL. Brad denied the Ducati motorcycle rumor on the CCOBB RC. Hell, that rumor came from OuttaTouch so that’ll give you clue as to its veracity. This is the second year in a row they’ve claimed Angie gave Brad a motorcycle for his b-day. Last year it was the “My Sweetheart The Drunk” bike.

As for the camera rumor? Well, some twit was bound to start that rumor once they found out that Angie gave him a camera for X-mas last year and he’s such a photography nut. I’m sure for the next few years we’ll hear plenty of gift camera rumors.

The tour of the German architects? Pfffft. Brad can do that anytime he wants because he’s got so many connections. Whoever started the rumor undoubtedly said it because Angie gave Brad that tour of the FLW house in 2006.

Gifts Brad has gotten Angie? Hmmmm…I can’t recall any of the specific tabloid rumors. The Mad art was Mother’s Day…which was true because Angie talked about it. But fake rumors? The only one I remember is that they claimed Brad gave Angie some kind of memory bracelet - anyone else remember this? It was French and had some kind of verse on it. This was last year before the O13 premiere because on the entertainment shows asked him about it on the LA RC when Brad talked about one of the kids ralphing on him before they left the house. Brad said it wasn’t true and then said, “I’m smoother than that.” The rumors almost always involve Brad giving Angie jewelry…cuz ya know how she wears a ton of it all the time…like the CCOBB premiere…whew…all that bling…

Go Brad !! I am so happy for Brad and Angie . They are doing great with both winning GG noms superb movies coming out and Angies Changeling which i think is one of her best parts playing a mother to the chickencoop murderd child back in the 20s is an excellent film.
Changeling is a serious movie with subplots that blow you away as far as women being treated like second to none. It’s a lengthy story which i thought was one of the best movies over all that i have seen in awhile.
Check it out if you can there is nothing to compare to seeing it on the big screen. Angie plays such a moving role. It is a must see.

I have been watching all trailor scenes for Brads TCCOBB. We will see Brads acting chops in this film and like so many others i can’t wait to see it over the holidays.

I don’t think many people realize that a movie is not shot in the order that it appears on the screen. I remember in M&MS Vince Vaughn was there to shot believe for only two days. He came in and did his bit and left. One scene done with Brad was actually done with Brad. When Brad goes to his office and Vince says he line “same old, same old, people need killing”. Brad was not in that shot. Brad did his part later. So Brad and Angie both have said that they put clauses in their contract about family. Not working past certain hours if it can be helped and not working on Saturdays. I think that is great. Family first.
So I’m sure the Jolie-Pitts will work out their celebrations. Besides Brad may not care one way or the other. As long as he finishes and returns to the FAMILY waiting for him.

Does anyone else find it funny that Jen called Angie “Uncool” two years after she her self admitted that she had purchased and read Angie’s Vogue interview. I mean really. Why did she not come out then and say something. I mean she gave everyone the impression that she was not aware of anything Angelina Jolie. And Courtney said that Brad told her that he had feeling for Angelina. If your man had told you this, What would you have done. I would have stepped up and called Angie or something. She had to have asked some questions. Did she just zone out or something, or was her movie career more important then fighting for this great marriage she was supposed to have had. Her best friend said Brad had been honest with her. She herself had read the mag and knew what was said. she purchased it. So why this new enlightenment two years later. Makes no sense. I think it must have been very difficult for Brad to tell her this, and yes it must have been so hard for her to hear it. But if you are a fan of hers, what do you think she did or said. I read Courtney’s comments. I think she and David both knew the marriage was in trouble. David said that Jennifer never cried. or that he never saw her cry. That speaks volumes to me. But the point is Brad Pitt fell in love with Angelina. He seems happy and content. She as well.

I just think that Brad and Jennifer were not meant to be. The relationship ran its course and ended. I do find it funny how so many people want to see them back together.

Just think, her fans according to them, want this beautiful, gorgeous, talented woman to return to the man they say broke her heart, cheated on her. The man they call dumb, ugly and untalented. A man they say has lost his looks and appeal. This is who her fans want her to go crawling back too. And the thing that is most laughable is that Jennifer would probably crawl to Brad if he gave her the least encouragement. She is so focused on him and his family. She says they stay in contact. This cheater who disrespected her. She stays in contact with him. According to her they call to congratulate each other on their achievements. Well we all know what that means. She calls him all the time, He has never called her. And on that thought, she calls to talk to the cheater, but not Angie. So if Brad is this low down, what kind of low self esteem woman is she for still talking and caring about him.

The truth is Brad Pitt is a good man, with an awesome family and partner. He told her the truth and it was up to her to deal with. They ended and he moved on. If Brad and Angie are having BAD KARMA.. Somebody please tell me where I can buy some of it.
