Brad Pitt Talks Benjamin Button
Brad Pitt and co-star Cate Blanchett sit down for an interview to talk about his new film, Benjamin Button with Premiere.com.
Here are a few quotes:
On the film’s focus on universal moments:
Brad: It focuses on the universal moments. And they seem momunetal on the inside as far as first loves and loss, but it’s the thing that everyone experiences and carries with them.
On the goal of the film:
Brad: The goal was a new openness and honesty and taking responsibility of one’s choices and whatever fate brings you.

I totally support Cate, she is a great actress and a regular person
What a beautiful man. I can’t wait for the movie. It is awesome. No doubt will be the IT movie of the year.
I got a copy of Rolling Stone mag. today. Definitely be watching CCBB. Hope, they both win at the GG.

+++++++++++++
Maniston has no dignity.
lol, i see the troll changed its sex to chuck, lol, they are a persistent bunch, lol,oh by the way maniston wouldn’t know art if it hit her in her new nose, lol
Saw the video of mayer hitting on the reporter at the dog premiere,it was priceless, mayer the player,i love it.
Maniston is the most boring and pathetic person ever.
John Mayer is ugly as hell. Perfect match to Jen ho as she is so insecure about her looks.
I am CHUCKlling re CHUCK having a melt down.. ROTFLMAO.. are you serious.. you poor pathetetic thing…..OK CHUCHY this will make you feel better…..

Nope, it’s called desparation!
Just finished watching the 3 hour DVD of Benjamin Button, sent to us for the pre-oscar consideration. The movie: cinematography is beautifully rich and warm throughout, makes you want to live in New Orleans, and the music, costume and design all blend perfectly together. The characters are all tied and connected throughout their life history, like an epic, and the viewers grow with them. The movie as a whole feels like a serene love story about life and Brad & Cate, think Titanic without the tragedy & action.
Brad’s character is very wise and monotone throughout, while Cate and Tilda add more flavor and color while dancing around Benjamin (I love Tilda). Does Brad deserve an Oscar for his role in the movie? The judges may pass on the aging baby for the sake of rewarding the more serious male lead (Frost/Nixon maybe). I wish the director would have given Brad more room for character development, making him more human…. At times, he feels disconnected, no tears even… sigh…
Benjamin Button is a very feel-good movie, especially for the holidays, and I would watch it again with the whole family.
Having seen The Changeling last week on DVD, also for pre-oscar consideration, I think Angie has a much better chance of winning the Globe or the Oscar than Brad. Regardless, both movies were very fresh and well done.
Thanks for the interview. I am looking forward to seeing the movie. BP is getting raves for his performance. He has made some very good choices in the last 4 years, personally and professionally. BP has a great mate in AJ who supports him in all his endeavors and does not stifle him creatively. Trolls are funny. Whiny X showed her “artistic nu**de” side. Too funny. I prefer to call it getting buck naked wild for attention and desperation. However, whatever works for the individual.
I can’t wait to see this movie. Thanks Jared for the new thread
Cate Blanchett is starring alongside Brad Pitt in this holiday season’s ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,’
Cate says about her superstar co-star, “I happen to really think Brad is a great human being, and he has such a particular take on the world.”
Likewise, Cate’s co-star in ‘Button,’ Taraji P. Henson, who plays Brad’s adoptive mother in the film, says, “He’s a sweetie pie actually. You know, you hear rumors and stories about actors who are on a certain level and, you know, they won’t show up for your off camera stuff and he was always there. Always there, and so generous. He wouldn’t have it any other way.”
In theaters Christmas Day, the film follows the life of Benjamin Button (Pitt), who is born as an old man and ages backwards as he gets older. Watch our video for more with the women of ‘Benjamin Button’!

Every one should see this movie. The best movie of 2008.
Thanks JJ. Seeing Brad in any interview is priceless no matter what other haters say. Nobody is perfect physically, but Brad and Angie are beautiful, talented inside & out and close to perfection in this century. My husband and I will surely see this movie.
…all I want for christmas is a roach clip and some chap stick…fa la la la la la la…hahhahhahahahahaahah…felize navidad!

Call her Bartlett, and not because she’s pear-shaped
Talking about boyfriend John Mayer, Jennifer Aniston told the Mirror, “He’s a rare one. He is extraordinary and it is wonderful to watch him… the way his brain works and the way he thinks thoughts… it’s beautiful.” This marks the unprecedented 445th consecutive day that gossip publications have quoted Jennifer Aniston on a topic that is unrelated to anything that could possibly affect our lives, a longer string of press coverage than was accorded to the legendary Iranian hostage crisis that ran from 1979-1981. According to sources close to the Guiness Book of Records, “Aniston has been quoted more in the past month alone than President Bush, the prime minister of England, and Vladimir Putin combined during their entire terms. In the world of entertainment, she’s been quoted more than Sir Laurence Olivier, Meryl Streep, Robert DeNiro, and Francis Ford Coppola.” While most of the quotes have been about ex-husband Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the new quote marks a noteworthy turn. “This could be the beginning of a new era,” said the source. “For the next 15 days – until ‘Marley and Me’ opens on Christmas – you’ll be seeing Aniston quotes on issues other than Pitt and Jolie. She’ll open up on a variety of topics, from dogs to Owen Wilson, and about which of them was more obedient. It’s probable that at one point she’ll talk about dogs she’s had herself, and it’s definite that it’ll be accorded the respect that Al Gore gets when talking about climate change or Ben Bernanke when talking economics.”
I can’t wait for the movie. I can’t wait for Critic Choice Awards and Golden Globe.
It occurred to me, I think Angelina Jolie has driven the b*tch crazy, and she hasn’t even met her.
When are the CCA’s? Anyone know??

a nice way of saying the movie would have been perfect with a different Lead actor? Should have given him more room to act? LoL

I believe it is Jan 8.
I’m sure the film is great and I’d really like to see it…I just think it’s so pathetic how Jared was so obviously paid to jam it down our throats. It’s the Benjamin Button photos one day….the next day it’s the Benjamin Button video….the next day it’s the Benjamin Button red carpet photos….the next day the Benjamin Button interview….yeah, ok Jared, we get that you got paid to promote it on your little site, but this is overkill!
