Zac Efron - 17 Again Movie Stills
Check out the latest Zac Efron movies stills from his upcoming flick, 17 Again.
The film stars Zac, Matthew Perry, Leslie Mann and Michelle Trachtenberg. Zac plays the Mike O’Donnell character at age 17.
In typical Hollywood fashion, Mike wishes he could return back to high school and poof! - he wakes up one day and is seventeen again and tries to rewrite his life.
The film is slated for an April 17th release. (The 17th!)

I am doing handstands here! Zac Efron actually on the MAIN board!!! He is so cute and this movie from the previews I’ve seen looks like it will really being funny. Already a fact Matthew Perry can say any line and make it funny and I’ve seen Zac on enough talk shows to know he has a funny side so I think it will be great!
I do wish it was coming out in January or February. April is a LONG time to wait. I saw the trailer in the theater and Zac looks and sounds great on the big screen.

I remember an extra in the movie who described it on some blog. It’s where Mike is “dissing” his daughter’s boyfriend because the dude is always picking on his son. From her description, it’s an awesome scene.

Zac is just awesome, such a nice, funny and talented guy! This movie looks so good, the cast are all great, the one liners are classic! Cannot wait till April! Go Zac!!

Zac looks great in the trailer for this movie. Love his comedic side. Mr. Perry is also a favorite of mine from Friends and has such a dry sense of humor. I think Zac will do a great job copying his style. He kind of has the same dry humor at times. Uneven, Zac is not going to be another Troy Bolton in this film. Give the guy a chance. Have you seen any of Zac’s other films? He does know how to play other characters you know.

Cindy, you are right. The problem with a lot of people who just want to put him down is they only have heard of him because of his roll of Troy Bolton in the HSM movies where it caused him to become a household name. They haven’t stopped to think that as with most actors who hit the bigtime with some part they’ve done that they had several roles before the “big” one hit. Zac has appeared on such shows as ER and CSI. He was in a TV show called Summerland where he first came to be noticed by several. He was wonderful in Miracle Run and the thing is he was a very different character in each and every one of these shows. He was not Troy Bolton in any one of them.
People should do a little research before speaking and then they wouldn’t appear so stupid.

#45 we admire Zac, not only for his good looks and way he carries his personal life, but also for his values, and talents e.g. singing, dancing and acting.
And this movie will appeal not only to the same HSM fans who have followed his career, but also to the young and not-so-young adults who appreciate comedy and good clean entertainment.

NOELLE: How do you know he appeals to the older women unless you have been reading all about her yourself? And if you say you are young then does that mean that there is no older actor like Brad Pitt or Harrison Ford that you like? Age is not the determining factor as to who a person likes to watch in movies or see pictures, etc. Also, many became fans of Zac’s after seeing him in Hairspray which, I believe, catered to all age groups and had all ages of famous stars in it.
NOELLE, we can admire a younger guy for his looks and talent. It doesn’t mean we want to BE with him. Fans can be of ANY age!!

well i doubt little girls are posting so … by grown ups i mean over 18’s. All i’m saying is that he looks quite drippy - all fake tan and greasy.. camp really. i’ve never seen HSM, saw clips of Hairspray but can’t even remember him. Perhaps he is a great actor. He has a lot of fans apparently…

True you can appreciate talent from any age but the comments i have read leads me to believe that it is predominantly his aesthetics that have acquired him his audience. I just don’t see the attraction and i’m not that much older than him but more power to him.
it actually sounds like its going to be a good movie.
I admire Zac for many reasons. For me, his looks would not be a factor in why I like him if he acted like an A-S-S and was a publicity seeker. There are many young male actors who do that. In my book, that is a big turn off.
What sets Zac apart from the rests of the crowd is that he is a very nice human being. As his friend Jesse McCartney said, “Zac doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.” He just lets all the nasty tabloid rumors and Perez Hilton comments roll off his shoulders. And he never degrades anyone else.
And he is very close to his family. A great many actors SAY they are, but Zac truly is. His parents go to all his premiers that are in LA, his brothers came to the MTV awards, his mom was in the audience when he was on Ellen. They keep him grounded in reality.
As for his acting, I think his true acting ability comes across in Miracle Run and Derby Stallion more so than they do in HSM and HSM2. He does a better job in HSM3, but if you look at the material he has to work with, he does what he’s supposed to. In HS he played a cool lady’s man who sings. Not much acting required. But it did get him noticed by a wider, adult audience.
I think we will see him shine in 17 Again and MAOW. And like a fine wine, he is going to get better with age.
NOELLE, I wasn’t really a fan either, until I accidentally saw HSM, and loved the series for it’s sweet, optimistic messages and it’s talented young actors.
Zac, as Malia said, is, in this day and age, truly a young man to admire, for his character, and work ethic. Honestly, that makes him more of a great guy to me than anything else. This is the kind of young actor I am happy to support in his career by buying tickets to his films!!
I find his character and his hard-working nature, to be refreshing in Hollywood, compared to the Brody Jenners and Spencer Pratts of the world. That’s why we older fans respect him. His looks are just a bonus!!

I really want to see this movie! I watched the trailer and saw the pictures and it seems to be reeeeally nice! Mathew Perry is, for me, one of the funniest guy ever, so I would watch it only because of him. And still has Zac, who is a great guy too, very hot and a good actor!

This movie is a garbage ripoff of Tia, Tamera, and Tahj Mowry’s movie “Seventeen Again” from Disney. This movie will only do well due to hysterical, annoying teenybopper girls who are in love with they’re precious idol. Zac Efron sucks, literally.
